Nice chapter. Definitely a 5/5. I like that we got to see more of the senju fam and learned madara actually had 4 brothers not just one. I am still curious about madara though, he didn't seem upset when he talked about losing his brothers here so why bitch when izuna dies? I know you guys don't enjoy flashbacks but their very insightful. I'm curious to see why orochimaru wants to destroy konoha

this gives us a look at how terrible the war was, (or even wars in general). It was sort of sad to think about. Madara and Hashirama seemed like pretty cool kids so I wonder what happened to make things the way they are now... 5/5

I absolutely aggree, the flashbacks are necessary. Some of those who complain seem to forget the main point: it is Sasuke who is hearing the truth from the Hokages, not so much us, the readers. We did not know the whole story of those times and may have kept reading the manga without this info, but it is vital for Sasuke to develop, and for the readers to check how much Obito/Tobi had lied (or not) when he made up a story for Sasuke.

You're forgeting that the info is necessary for Sasuke to find out how much Obito has lied to him (after saying he was actually Madara). The story may be still for us, but moving for Sasuke to decide if he will be an antagonist or not.

Not too bad of a chapter for a flashback, I kind of found it amusing when they were kids. That's the only thing I really liked out of this chapter, the rest I thought in my honest opinion, was meh..I guess I just want it to go back to the present time, but I know flashbacks are necessary to help explain things. So my rating was a 3/5.

I think this was a pretty good chapter i rate it 3 but i really meant like a 3.5 despite having action it was very informative..i find it interesting it seems that the new generation of children were the ones that possibly thought of an alliance with obviously the strongest (Uchiha and Senju) being the superiors to this..also its a coincidence since alot of the new ninja generations in Naruto all seemed to do things differently to get closer to the idea of "Peace"

Later , they will make an alliance between clans of the same region , called "village of that country".
With time , something grew between clans of those villages , love between comrades , village unity , the will of fire for Konoha.
Every region of the world does the same , and now villages are fighting for the love of their own village.
Hashimara and Madara understood that making villages is an incomplete way to achieve peace .
They need world unity.How?
Madara's answer is to create an insane ennemy of humanity , to make shinobis unify against that ennemy.
Hashirama thinks there must be another answer and Madara leaved Konoha
When Madara came back to take Hashirama DNA to summon Juubi , Hashimara kicked Madara's ass with a few thousands of spanks , but had no answers , let's try madara's? .
Hashirama planned to give his life to make Madara able to summon Juubi to use it as an ennemy of humanity ( Madara's plan after leaving Konoha) , to make the world unify against that beast , to make everybody a comrade you love , unity of shinobis , a world of peace.

Orochimaru is powerfull , but he is tsunade and jiraiya's age approximately.
Imagine how much information you can get by mastering edo tensei.
Look at this story edo-Hashirama is telling us.edo-mito , edo-izuna...
Orochimaru has to know what happened to his parents.

Hashirama and tobirama thinks beyond their time but you can see hashirama's determination when you look at him. Btw what I found interesting that clan's names ends with similiar spelling. In senju ....ma and in uchiha with ....a so hashirama changed many things by founding konoha.
No, Hashirama would of tried to make friends with him, looking at the chapter, he wanted to create an alliance between the two clans and Madara would of wanted the same, maybe these are the first steps in order to explain how they became allies.
