Whoa! Nice chapter, we don't get this kinda chapters in a while...especially Kabuto's numb past (his unknown exsistence or his false existence, not even knowing who he is, driving down to hell and then giving into darkness to survive... just like we heard in Batman the Dark knight :- "die like a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain")
We may expect some hardcore moves coming on...and will see what these hard bastards are made of..
REALLY THEY ARE HEART-BREAKERS AND LIFE-TAKERS...

It had is good parts. I enjoyed watching itching get impaled or any other time an uchiha gets nailed. The most peculiar thing about The chapter was how Sasuke's eye began bleeding when he performed amatersu. Doesn't he have EMS?

Eh.... Not a great chapter, it kinda made Kabuto look like less of a bad a**, at the Same time that I was interrested to hear kabutos story I feel like it shouldve been told after he was defeated and close to death

Anyway it would have been better if the chapter had more pages showing some starting action of a fierce battle...with/without a glimpse of some unbelievable stuff to increase the interest of viewers...oh! Now c'mon! this is Naruto manga, doesn't it used to be more thrilling swinging with the storyline maintaining people's interest and leaving us no idea how incredible its becoming...WHY IS KISHI TAKING SO LONG TO COMPLETE EVEN THIS SINGLE SCENE..I MEAN THERES A WHOLE WAR LEFT TO COVER...WHEN HE IS GONNA SHOW OTHER PARTS OF THE WAR LIKE NARUTO OR OTHER SHINOBIS ???

This is a very below average chapter. For one what in the world did Itachi have to protect Sasuke for when he can use susanoo as well? Second of all it's nothing but boring flashbacks when it should've been about izanami going from what we had last week.

The title is exactly appropriate for a trash chapter like this, "Nothing".

I kinda hated this chapter, i mean for itachi to get himself killed protecting sasuke who is supposed to be so good but could of used the same jutsu and blocked it himself, and on another note who cares about kabuto's background he was never a important characeter so we dont need the background story......
but hey its kishi's manga but hopefully he can get back to the :naruto: vs :hypertobi: fight soon

ok, ya know, this is a STORY, in which each character needs a background story, and stuff like this happens. we need kabuto background story. this is called good writing. you don't just have a batle every page with little to no story.

every time there isn't a chapter just start to finish action action action, everyone gets up in arms and says 'worst chapter ever' and whatnot.

you DO need to have chapters that actually tell a story once in a while, or it would be just pure nonsense battle all of the time, and everyone would complain about that. i think everyone should stop with the a.d.d. and settle down.

on the other hand i will be fair and say i agree that itachi saving sasuke with susanoo was a wtf moment, and of course i would rather see 50% action 50% story, but the problem is that each chapter is 17 pages long, give or take a few, and you need plot development and character development. that's why naruto is so popular and good, because there IS a story here, lots of them really.

i think we can all agree on that. plus who said isanami isn't already in effect...

actually i thought it would be cool if the uchiha brothers already had kabuto in a tag-team genjutsu that is making kabuto think he is still fighting them without kabuto knowing it, like this whole battle is an illusion lmao!

People keep talking about Itachi sacrificing himself for Sasuke. Remember...he's already DEAD. The edo-tensei makes him regenerate. What did he have to worry about? He had no reason to fear for himself while protecting Sasuke, who apparently wasn't paying attention at the time.

Other than that, I don't think anyone gives a f^ck about Kabuto, esspecially when we are about to see Izanami in action... I mean, that would be cool during a special or something, but not in the middle of a battle, and before we see a kick-@ss ability for the first time... U_U

what if Izanami is ALREADY activated and we don't know yet?...

I really liked this chapter.

Flashbacks are important for developing the character. Now we know that Kabuto has a tragic back story too. It's up to someone (probably Naruto) to therapy-no-jutsu him.

I think that Kabuto is already under Itachis justu.

the problem with this chapter is the placement of the storyline in my opinion!!! personally i dont have a problem with learning so much about Kabuto but last chapter ended with Izanami with Itachi saying the jutsu is ready!!! we barely saw that this chapter... Why Kishi decided to do that puzzles me. This chapter almost feels like an anti-climax... the chronology of the story has to follow a pattern and Kishi has somehow regressed here

perhaps this flashback is a part from izanami too... it can be...
