awesome chapter, 5/5...no doubt no doubt and will be one of my favorites.
of course i am not just gonna sit, watch, read and enjoy the chap as it is.
before i pitch in, i just wanna say i read all the post and i wanna single out a few posts which cornered my attention.

@ ssanimo...you the man dude....you really held on. you had the theory, i don't know if you are the first to post it - that "the 6th coffin is madara". gardemerr dude you the mannn...

for self gratitification, 50% for my pred is good enough. i have to shelve my "so6p pred as the 6th coffin" now. but who knows, overpowering as it may be, it is still a possibility for this iwr..nobody said it isn't possible to date. for what purpose?...for the manga i think...

@mrmarx2012...you shifted theories...but like ssanimo...you got the details..

for my pitch ins:
1. ssanimo and mrmarx2012 theories on tobi as madara is very plausible. i think mine is the same. they got the supports, imaginative, details and all... mine is purely a reader's theory. tobi as madara is better and more likely because of: a. the hate; b. tobi says it so; c. comparable narutoish power which is very madara-like.
2. barbobot's "fugaku as madara" is also gaining ground. i for 1 am beginning to suspect that fugaku's death is a gray area in the manga. suspicion of his simple death by the hands of his eldest son is very very artificial but rather terribly mysterious. imagine a father of 2 of the most powerful shinobis in the leaf to go off the hook just like that...mind bogling for me - this i got to watch out.
3. most posts mentioning "izuna as madara" is also a possibility. yet for me, it is seemingly still unexplainable as izuna's exposure in the manga. how could a blind uchiha survive for so long without his precious eyes? did he have apprentice or bodyguards...in zetsu perhaps? in such a case, he is more powerful than his brother madara then. and why does he go by the name tobi? or tobi-madara? how could he manage to retrieve madara's body after harashima defeated the strong uchiha? by zetsu?...this is still a mystery.
4. madara did die - a fact. spiritually only?...probably. as tobi-madara theories say, this tobi with the mask is madara's mind and body only. now that we see madara's edo tensei entity, the tobi with the mask is indeed a body with madara's mind and dna and zetsu-harashima dna as well.
5. edo-madara's actions and exposure in the succeeding chapters would clear tobi-madara's identity for sure. watching him fight would enlighten us re the doubts we have for tobi's claims. i hope that kabuto would not opt to control madara though. if kabuto controls edo-madara, it will be a weak madara. kabuto is stupid enough to do this..i just hope he leaves edo-madara as he is. i think, at the rate that muu was able to summon him, would mean the edo-madara is not at his 100%. muu was at 50% power capacity during the summon. i believe edo-madara's powers dies not depend on the power of the summoner.
6. i came accross a post "re fake madara". this is also possible. and tobi madara could be one.

7. regarding the nagato mentioning of edo-madara...my theory is...madara back then speculated a "nagato" in the future. it is "a prophecy" so to speak. this is why edo-madara thought nagato did the "reincarnation" jutsu to him. just like what jiraiya stated re the " child prophecy" in Naruto. Madara zeroed in a "nagato" to have the rinnegan - through tobi-madara.

now my predictions:
1. the old tsuch will die...by edo-madara's hand
2. muu with his 50% power will be sealed at last by gaara.
3. Naruto's clone will definitely call on the real Naruto to come, leaving killabee facing tobi-madara and the jinchs, thereby having killabee captured.
4. upon killabee's capture, tobi-madara will retreat. so will kabuto, upon sensing the real Naruto in the vicinity.. will retreat and recall madara.

I'm going to go completely outside of the box and say it is the "original" zetsu for 2 reasons: 1. we know nothing of his origins or even his village 2.shares the same reasons with tobi, notice besides nagato and konan, everyone else has their own village tag. As far as we know zetsu is immortal through his many clones and can replicate techniques as well as chakra, although his motives become questionable. I for one go for the izuna theory, and just because we have seen that 1 person can split his body (muu) shouldn't automatically assume madara could have done it as well.

Also when he had a fight with danzo's men, he pulled his arm off and white goo came out of it-possibly white zetsu.

About your theory on Madara = Fugaka (well thought out theory btw), how do you suppose Fugaka got a hold of Hashirama's cells if he is indeed Madara? He began to turn against Konoha only after fox attack because of the accusations as we know.

By having Hashirama's cells it would imply that Fugaka had a motive before the fox attack, and that he would be extremely old by the time he had Sasuke and Itachi; but seeing as Fugaka was seen as a 40 year old man he would have had to be a zetsu clone the entire time.

On another note, is it just me or does Tobi and Kagami have a close resemblance?

a couple of questions:

1. a sharingan like a byakugan could see through signature chakras right?
if that is the case, itachi knew tobi-madara is his father fugaku. and itachi knew of his' father's clone as zetsu during the clan's massacre? just digging into it dude.

2. why would fugaku wait for a massacre to happen wherein he was equip with a formidable weapon in zetsu? an answer that would be "fugaku developed zetsu after the incident" or "fugaku approved of the massacre for a more secretive approach for revenge" will be shallow - at least to me.

in anyway, your theory is stronger one there is - perhaps better than the izuna as madara one. but i have realized in your theory that "tobi-madara" is more likely to be an uchiha than another member of a different clan or country.

I've been re-reading chapters when Tobi explains to Sasuke about Madara, etc...

I really don't think Tobi is Madara nor any kinda half soul-half skills/body whatever...

But for me it seems that this Tobi guy was an Uchiha very close to Madara, maybe his brother as many people here say.. he might have been angry for the fact that he lost/sacrificed his eyes for nothing, since a truce has been achieved with the Senju clan.. so he became angry at both Senju and now at Uchiha... just a thought

And at some point Tobi says it was never about fame.. maybe he meant there that he never gave his eyes or he never supported the Uchiha clan wanting fame for himself, maybe he meant that IF it was about fame then he would just show to every body who he is, what he has done, his strength, etc... but it was not about fame

Thank you, Yes I know my theories have changed. It mainly due to reading other people theories which made a heck alot more sense and I just feel like showing that your able to split yourself in two like Muu did was a huge hint between Madara and Tobi also.

Wow I have never seen the perdictions thread get so big since it was a two week wait for the new chapter. My theory madara did die against the first hokage ( as for the nagato thing I agree with jabsnarutos theory on that a prohecy ) and tobi is madaras son as he was mad that because of the leaf his father died he left the village and swore to get vengnge on the village. And in order to carry on his fathers legacy he posed as madara ever since.

you have a keener observation than i thought.

well as for me, tobi-madara's eyes are interchangeable..to me -- and it was explained in the chapter that the collection of eyes were shown. or, you could be right...that only the left eye socket hosts the new sharingan or now the rinnegan eye. this remains to be validated.

what excites me is the edo-madara's eyes now. was gaara immediately caught in a strong genjutsu? and that edo-madara is now controlling gaara that he tells everyone else to look at edo-madara's eyes? would gaara's division be under a very powerful genjutsu? - i don't think so...this would be overpowering if this would happen...only an itachi or a tobi-madara could match such power.

thanks for supporting my "prophecy" theory on "nagato being known to the edo-madara". well, it is but logic to say that assessing datelines and age and chapters in the manga decades of progression...
but, what do you think? could edo-madara break free from the edo tensei bind? it will be very exciting if edo-madara could, ryt dude?

Well tobi doesn't have the full power of Madara. I believe that when tobi fought konan his left eye shut but his right eye remained which is the original eye of Madara. This is why he has a full stock of uchiha sharingans. It the right eye in my mind that closes first so he always replaces his eye when he uses Izanagi.

We do not know the full power of Madara. If tobi is the split version of Madara. He says himself he doesn't have the power he once had. He is already incredibly scary with the power he has shown. If him and Madara reunite somehow. I wonder what the full power of Madara would be.
