[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 559 Discussion and 560 Predictions

This chapter is very interesting not only because of the twist but because of interesting new pieces of information it brings up.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.

Negato's childhood takes place around the 3rd great Ninja War, where his parents were killed and he trained with Jiraya. With that in place, Madara's battle with the 1st Hokage was significantly before because Jaraiya, was the student to the 3rd Hokage, who in turn was the student of the 2nd Hokage. Looking at this time Jaraira is if grown up meaning that the 3rd Hokage is much older. The reason I am mentioning this is that, it was told that Madara was defeated and killed by the 1st Hokage yet he knows about Negato. This means that Madara survived his battle with the 1st Hokage.

The second piece of information comes from earlier manga, where tobi tells Konan that he gave Negato's the rinnengan. At first I was skeptical however if this is true, this may give insight to whom it tobi may really be. If the rinnengan was indeed to given to Negato, then from who were they from? One possibility, which may be the case is that the Negato's eyes may come from the original Sage. If that is the case then the eyes could have been attained after the Sage's death, which was the time Tobi could have attained them. Therefore Tobi, maybe someone much older possibly, one of the Sage's son who was jealous.

One reason why Tobi may be older and someone different from Madara, was that Madara when summoned immediately mentioned Negato and thought that it was him who summoned him. Madara probably thought Negato summoned because he knew that Negato was given rinnegan eyes. In addition he also referred to Negato as a "brat" showing obvious dislike. This dislike can be originated back to the back he was given eyes, probably indicating envy that Negato had the rinnegan eyes and not himself, by Tobi.

Anyone realized Madara is showing only one eye off, that mean the masked madara is someone who can be a Uchiha Izuna or its a Zetsu clone that has one of madara's eye remember he sacrifice his left instead of his right for Konan fight that means it was a junk eye to use as safety net.

I'll have to disagree since the second frame on that page is the only one showing Tobi grabbing him and it's only with the right hand ... so no.


One could argue that Tobi's face being covered up is just as likely a plot device to keep his identity hidden, along with an empty eye socket, and that this is just as probable a theory as your own.

I have to be honest - what kills your Black Zetsu theory is seeing the 10th page in Chapter 500.

Not that I have any thing concrete yet myself.

very nice chapter, some good ideas in this forum... i personally like the "edo tensei madara and tobi" are both madara... i would just like to stretch it further more....

i think it makes sens, if we go back to what tobi said he is just a shell of his former self (madara uchiha) and same goes with itachi saying it to sasuke, cause he was greatly injured from his battle with hashirama, injured to death i think. oh he died for sure.. but the part where its very shady is the time span when he left konoha, it din't say how long he was gone it just said that when he came back he fought hashirama..

i think from the time he left konoha until before he came back, he met zetsu or found him or it, we still don't know cause zetsu's background is as shrouded as tobi's. and made a deal or a plan with him.. the plan was that he will fight hashirama and if he wins and kills hashirama then his plan of control will go on, you know the "taking the senju DNA and mixing it with the uchiha his body to create the perfect body and control the world through infinite tsukoyomi to make peace. but if he fails and dies zetsu would revive him and continue the plan thus the greatly damage "dead" body of madara is named "TOBI"......

so i think TOBI is not uchiha madara but his body revived by zetsu with the DNA of hashirama waiting for uchiha madara's soul to be summoned in him by nagato i don't know yet how the eF did madara know about nagato im still thinking bout that,. cause if you time equate it madara's era is way older than nagatos...

i think this is the reason why uchiha madara was not surprised that he was summoned in fact he sounded like he was waiting for it to happen "SO IT FINALLY HAPPENED"... the only thing is that he was not expecting it to be edo tensai, for the only person he knew that can use edo tensai was 2nd hokage tobirama senju, why in the efin world will tobirama revive madara for? makes sens right?

I will like to point out something about Tobi/Madara. When he was fighting against Torune... He grabbed him with both hands but only the right Zestu hand and arm was only infected. Why not the left hand and arm? This is why I keep stating that Tobi/Madara is a White Zestu clone of Madara and his Left 1/2 of his body underneath the White Zestu clone is the other 1/2 of Black Zestu.

When Konan fought against him she destroyed his mask and the outter White Zestu skin covering up the Black Zestu 1/2 on the left side of his face. That's why it's shows pitch Black Zestu, that's not because of the shading of the artist. Another thing is that Konan blast affected both upper areas of Tobi/Madara twice. Both sides of the face and arms but only the right arm was affected doing the first blast. The second blast exposed the left side of his Black Zestu 1/2 underneath, that was cover by White Zestu clone. His left arm wasn't destroyed neither but he was killed but he used Izanagi..... I think I'm the closet to the truth than anybody on the site!!!! Quote me on it!

*Scene changes to Kabuto*
Kabuto: ...It appears that it was just a clone this entire time, that's a relief, can't have Naruto dieing yet, kukuku. But...for Madara to just attack like that, I'm going to have to have all my focus on him, I can't afford to have him break free, lucky for me the rest of the Edos are useless now so there's no real loss. Plus Naruto and Killerbee should be able to hold their own against the masked man for now...

Tobi: And so, that's how I started over. And now here I am, transforming Uchiha Madara, into the great Sage.
Madara: If you have my eyes, then why wage war, why not just take control of the bijuu for yourself.
Tobi: I lost your eye, in a little battle over the rinnegan. But I have plenty of other fresh eye's to test out.
Madara: But that's not all you need. To become one with the Juubi, you need the eternal mangekyrou sharingan. Something you don't and can never achieve, now that I'm dead and every single other Uchiha has been slaughtered.
Tobi: That's where you're wrong....one Uchiha survived.
Gaara: Now I get it....
Madara: Where is he, I want to meet this boy.
Tobi grabs his shoulder and they teleport
Sasuke is jumping through trees when suddenly Tobi appears.
Tobi: Sasuke. There is someone here that wants to see you.
Sasuke: I don't have time for this Madara, I need to test my new eyes out.

Sasuke: I guess this will do, I would love to test my new powers out on an expert. Then after defeating you I will gain the title as *EMS activates for Sasuke*king.

yes you are right tobi could be izuna. But here is my theory tobi could be uchiha kagami because as we have seen that kagami have same age as the sarutobi hiruzen(the third hokage) and the fact the the third is alive both in the times of fourth hokage and the first hokage and will be alive (if didn't sealed himself) at present time as his companions Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado are alive which means means that kagami is present in the time of the uchiha madara so after madara survived the fight with first hokage he passed kagami the tissue samples of first and moreover since the start of the series we haven't seen tobi showing his EMS he only showed his sharingan not even the MS so which it could be someone without them.i cleared my point because kagami have to be present at the times of first, third and the fourth(the time of nine tails attack on konoha).

What I think people meant was that Tobi had Space Time Jutsu similar to Kakashi, and because Kakashi has Obitos one eye there could be a link.
