1. As a other guy showed you Kakashi was grown when Tobi attacked.
2. Sasuke was a nice guy too before his clan and family was murdered. Uchia blood has the potential of seeking revenge. And everything could have happened to Obito between Obito's death and Tobi's apperance. I'm sure Kishimoto wouldn't make it so easy that we could just guess and come up with the reason ourselves.
3. If you compare Obito's face when he lie under the rock and the face Tobi has shown u can see that there are big similarities. It still is a reasonable argument. They also has the same hair.
4. I have absolutely no idea. I'm sure someone else can answer it.
The name Obito also hints at Tobi!
I am sure Obito has some relation whatsoever.

Heres MY complete split theorum
A shortened version of the theory i lost after writing it for an hour was that Madara is both of them...
Tobi is madara's memories in Obito's body, he would lose his own techniques as his original body was probably dying (old age?) but he would have Obito's technique Space Time Jutsu and the implanted DNA sample, from Madaras fight with Hashirama at the VotE, this would give him the ability to use Izanagi freely and ultimately Banbutsu Sozo, once he had his rinnegan and his plan was complete.
He made a plan long ago to unite his soon to be dead body ie edo tensei'd madara and EMS, with his new Tobi body, so that he could use EMS, Izanagi, Space Time Jutsu, Banbutsu Sozo and control the Jubi once it had been gathered. Essentially the sage of the six paths reborn plus his own EMS.
However he was meant to be reborn with gedo rinne tensei ,but Nagato uses it on the people of Konoha instead, thats why he talks about Nagato as it was part of his plan, Tobi adapted when the snake shows up, it fits in as he can revive his old body that way ie impure world resurrection. Sasuke was a sacrifice he was willing to make to gain ultimate power.

Once he had gained both sharingan and rinnegan into a single body he would be able to use izanagi which can turn reality into an illusion and illusions into reality. But he no longer has his EMS powers, which is why Nagato was given the rinnegan, to resurrect Madara and combine EMS with Izanagi.
This is where it gets interesting if you read
you see that madara wants to use his EMS genjutsu, that itachi talks about when vsing sasuke. His genjutsu is infinite tsukiyomi, if you know what tsukiyomi does you know that you control space and time, this means you are a god in this genjutsu controlling everything in this realm, by reflecting it off of the moon he would be casting a genjutsu upon every one in the ninja world. Once combined with Tobi and Izanagi his infinite tsukiyomi could be taken to the next level.... it would not only be a genjutsu in the mind of the person, if he used izanagi with infinite tsukiyomi it would turn the illusion of Madara/Tobi being a god into reality. He would have total control of the entire world.
Madara is Tobi and his plan to rule the world has been accumulating since the time when Konohagakure was being created.
I also had a thought that tobi may in actual fact have known that Kabuto could use edo tensdei, he may have known because zetsu is a master spy, who knows what he tells tobi and therefore had edo tensei as his backup.
If he did know that Kabuto could potentially resurrect the body of madara, but that it would be under Kabutos control would give him reason to find a way to gain control of it... Thus tobis fascination with Shisuis infamous Kotoamatsukami.

when was it mentioned obito had space-time jutsu, please give proofs. dont follow vague assumptions if not enclose the manga pages showing obito could perform that jutsu,( wonder if he had that how did he die like that, he could have saved kakashi,rin and himself and fled.
the problem with that assumption is that there is much about the Sharingan that we do not know!!! as has already been seen, the same eye in another individual can produce totally different results. its a huge mistake to say that cos Kakashi's Sharingan can is the same as Tobi's!!! one transforms objects to another dimension while Tobi's makes him float of change dimensions/planes of existence!!! there are similarities but they are practically different!!! if thats the proof people are basing their conclusions on then better give another set of proof!!!

ithink maybe sage son not died and he want to make peace but he cant because he become very old so he couldnt use his ringan so he gave it to nagato because he was uzumaki and he meet madra and make deal that nagato will revive him and madra give him his ems sorry for bad english so tobi = saga son

Kakashi and all the others his age were all huddled together and they call them all KIDS....TOP LEFT PANEL NOOB. You can see Kakashi, Guy, and all the other KIDS.
Kurenai's father is the one talking and he wont let them help fight the fox because he says they are still KIDS :flaw:

What the guy above me said. Kakashi even looks like a kid. Tobi couldn't have went from weak trash to like, godly enough to hold his own versus the 4th Hokage. His body was crushed. He is dead. Let his story as Kakashi's loyal teammate end. His purpose in the series was the explanation of why Kakashi has a Sharingan, nothing more. It is unrelated. This all started a long time ago because people saw a similarity in the names, and now everyone is trying to make the stupidest connections possible to verify that Tobi is Obito. He is not. 100%.

This pretty much sums up that Obito is not Tobi, but I still hold a little hope for Obito to be Tobi.
But u do agree what we have seen of Tobi looks a lot like Obito (especially when Obito lies under the rock), and that the name Obito hints at Tobi?

Discussion: This chapter truly took me by surprise as I didn't think that Muu would use Edo Tensei let alone to summon Madara of all people as we have been led to believe by Kishi that Akatsuki leader was Madara and his confessions pretty much confirmed it. I have also pondered how it is possible that Madara knew Nagato as he was no where even born at that time. I can't wait for the logical reason behind this. I liked the chapter as Neji/Hinata's team were given some spotlight ^.^ I am disappointed with Kishi in one thing and it is the gap in between Naruto/his team mates. I know that Naruto is the main protagonist however for e.g. Neji is nothing at all like he was in before the time skip. I think Kishi should have at the very least place "Konoha 11" (excluding Naruto obviously) just under Naruto/Sasuke but no there are all superiorly below them in terms of strength/skills. Everybody's opinions about the masked man's true identity being either Obito (yet again) or Shisui is ridiculous in my honest opinion as both have been revealed to be goodhearted before this deaths. The person has to be someone who has ties to the Uchiha either by blood or by great interest seeing as how much he knew about the past and his involvement with Sasuke. Somewhere along the lines "he" went insane and for this to be Kagami I highly doubt that as well seeing as he was depicted as a good being on Tobirama's team and just what vendetta or thing has made him to lose his mind. It seems as though Kishi may reveal the masked man to be someone new or a non-Uchiha.
Predictions: I think Sasuke will not be shown next chapter -_- However he may have a tiny appearance in the end or something (well at least I hope) ^.^ It appears as though Edo Tensei Madara will be taking the entire chapter which I'm not minding at all as we see him battle making it an amazing chapter. I suppose Naruto and co. will question Madara before any fighting and hopefully he will have some info as to who or why the person behind the mask assumed his identity.

What proof do I have that Obito is not Tobi? Hmmm not sure... let see....
1. Obito was crushed and his only working eye was given to Kakashi
2. Obito wasn't evil, he infact inspired Kakashi
3. When Tobi confronted the 4th Hokage. Kakashi was a kid still. Where Tobi who confronted the 4th Hokage was an adult.
4. How on god earth would Obito turn into an adult and in the space of what 3 years? He managed to go toe to toe with the 4th Hokage and control the 9 tailed fox?
So to sum it up, Obito would still be a kid when Tobi went against the 4th Hokage, which Tobi was no child.
Obito wasn't evil
It highly unlikely Obito survived being crushed, No eye sight and managed to turn evil and gain the power of Madara.

Only thing is that it don't actually have to be Obito's full body that Tobi is using. Especially because his face looks old. But his Sharingan, I'm almost sure too!

2.Was in a team with Danzou during the Ninja War
--> explains why he wasn't surprised by any of Danzou's techniques
3.The team they where in was Tobirama's team..TOBIrama
--> Tobirama was the first Shinobi with space time Jutsu
--> Explains why Tobi could use S/T-jutsu without MS
4.The only two of Tobirama's former team not present at Demon Fox's attack --> D & T

They probably where close friends before, with the Uchiha massacre as a part of a plan and vision they shared. But it seems along the way, Danzou had more interest in becoming Hokage and Tobi (Kagami!) in bringing the whole world under his control.
I think while they didn't agree, they decided to just split up without a fight, because they where comrads once.
It can NOT be Madara's mind inside tobi's body.....
