Wow! That's some Musashi thinking right there. You're the Man.
As far as the chapter, it did feel a little weak compare to the long wait.

There is a good point to be made that I just noticed from this chapter. Suigetsu said it himself, "formally, the organization of the 7 Swordsman of the Mist barely exists today." That is amplified by the fact that we saw so few members over so long. Since Suigetsu mentioned Zabuza, Kisame and Choujirou, that means they were the last 3 official members to be alive (yes, Raiga is not included here in the manga but I'm sure in the Anime they will throw him in there). We know for a fact that Zabuza was part of the previous generation of the 7SM which means that only Kisame and Choujirou were part of the current generation.

Here is the point I'm driving at:

Given that information, why are there not more members of the current generation of 7SM?? This question was plaguing me for quite a while, but now it seems the answer has arrived; it was all thanks to Mangetsu. Like Suigetsu said, his brother mastered all 7 blades. That means he had significant time with each of them. That could also mean that he killed the wielders of the 4 blades we saw today resulting in a loss of a new generation in regard to those blades. Sound possible? If he killed them and later died, than there would be no official members able to replace them. Also, since no one officially killed and replaced Zabuza as a member, his portion of the 7SM generation line has also been cut. Considering Mangetsu was later killed, it would make sense that he wasn't considered a permanent wielder of any of the 7 swords. But he did have 4 of the 7 swords stored away for summoning at any time so I guess you could consider him the wielder of all of them.

But Mangetsu being considered among the previous 7SM is a bit concerning. If he did officially kill even one of those members we just saw, wouldn't he be considered part of the current generation, not the previous? I mean in reality, the 7th guy we saw should be the previous owner of Choujirou's Hiramikarei right? I guess it is possible, however, for Mangetsu to have been the official wielder of Hiramikarei at his time. Perhaps he killed the old Hiramikarei wielder and became an official member that way. Perhaps he then attempted to obtain all the blades and began taking out the other members. Its possible that after reaching a total of 5, Choujirou came along and killed him, taking the Hiramikarei away from him and becoming part of the current generation. If that were true, than it would explain why he only had access to 4 of the 7 for summoning, since only 1 of each of the 7 swords can exist at one time. Thoughts?

Awww comon, now it's enough. I voted 1 star for the last chapter because, in my opinion, there's no point for introducing the swordmens and their details YET. Why not going on with the story and other battles. I said this the last chapter before, but it's just going to be ridiculous because "hey lolz, here is a new group from Edo Tensei and there's another one and i won't stop it resurrecting old shinobis. Gogo Edo-Tensei vs Shinobi Army, we don't need the 100k Zetsus!"

It just bores me with that senseless and minor battles. "Nice" to see that the swordmens are raping the shinobis, it was so obvious.

it wasn't up to my expectations. i expected many things like sasuke, naruto completing his new technique. nothing happened. i liked the strategy part made by kakashi and seven swordsmen and of course kabuto is literally killing the alliance...

for myself, i think Hohzuki mangetsu, sengetsu's brother was the original weilder of the sword hiramekarei that choujirou is currently useing, or that mangetsu had no sword of his own and uses anybodies word at any apointed time, and that choujirou hand the sword handed down to him by his sensei the guy with the byakuggan

Yes you are right it was a decent chapter didn't lived up to the expectations at all. And who the hell cares about Suigetsu's older brother who mastered all the 7 swords as far as I can see these guys aren't on the invincible levels like Madara, Sasuke, Naruto or Kabuto. Really stupid seeing all these guys come up and wasting a whole chapter just learning about their sword's abilities. A real waste of a chapter.

lol it really did fail to meet the expectations of everyone to say the least, especially by making each page extremely short when explaining the 7 swordsmen:flaw:. suigetsu's older brother is an important charcter even if he just edo'd back, ive been wanting to see his older brother from some time now and its just helped me come up with a prediction now. basically since suigetsu cant find zabuza's sword (for obivious reasons) most likely jugo will continue to help him find his sword until sasuke finds them or madara finds them and tells them that sasuke will need their help with his next task...

(contiueing from that last point) which mostly will end up having suigetsu and jugo stumble onto the battle field and i highly doubt that they will join in the fight but most likely will steal zabuza's sword or someone else's sword. while doing this something may go down between suigetsu and his older brother if kabuto didnt take the other swordsmen personalities away, could be rival or caring brother situation like sai's bro. idk maybe somewhere in their they may get told by kakashi that they have karin, and if they plan on returning to sasuke they most likely will share karin's fate of being betrayed and nearly killed or die, which could change things up alot if it happens..

kabuto is definetly going to be a great help to madara during this war which sucks because that powerless clown gets to sit back and watch his own war take place without getting involved. hopefully kabuto brings back itachi, nagato, and a few of the others before sasuke or someone else does him in for good like his old pathetic master orochimaru. furthermore does that edo tensei technique still remain active after the user is dead? if so that could make people like kakuzu or deidara invincible, im really surprized that kabuto has not gone to find hidan and make a deal with him to work for kabuto. ethier way kabuto is bound to die some time soon, i really hope he gets impatient and goes after sasuke so we can see sasuke's new eyes at work

this whole thing about suigetsu looking for the swords to be the next leader is definetly very interesting to say the least. we didnt even learn alot about the swordsmen so im very disappointed so far, further more i was hoping to see sasukes new eyes, even if it was like only two pictures of it or even if was a tease by showing him taking the bandages off and not letting us see them, but giving us a hint that we'll be seeing him in this war very soon.. same goes for naruto's training with killa bee, when they all get involved this will really start to interesting.

This chapter answered a lot of questions about the legendary 7 swordsmen. It'll probably take another two chapters to see some actual fighting as the next one will be a reaction to Haku taking one for Zabuza.

i gave 2/5 but the main problem is not the episode itself its cause we had to wait 2 weaks and nearly nothing happens in this episode because of introductions. the main problem is since madara can use resurection he will also suimmon ,, maybe the whole uchiha clan (his brother, itachis friend) jiraiya or some other stuff.
i already droped naruto anime, but this is going the same way, really disapointed.

it was great chapter, cause i personally really wanted to know about 7SM, as about theories about suigetsu´s brother, i think he might become member of 7SM cause 1 of them died. i like all of those swords and their abilities. i think suigetsu will somehow get to battle and will become master of 5 swords of the mist. i personally hope that choujirou will fight other 7SM, we haven´t seem choujirou much but i really liked him. i think kakashi could have think of better plan. maybe gaara´s division will join the fight cause gaara is great for stoping someone.

Chapter was not that bad we needed the info about the seven great swords men of the mist to understand how power their abilities can be, in any case most people thought only Kisame sword has special abilities but now we know all of them do. I would like to see kakashi’s team do more than just stand there wait for something to happen Kakashi is the only person doing all the thinking and fainting.
