AWESOME... Kabuto thought of everything, even protecting zabuza, what is kakashi going to do now? i thought his plan was great and would've worked too bad..

i dont understand why kakashi just doesnt extend the lightning blade to impale two targets....make it into a spear?

A weird chapter to say the least. Suigetsu's older brother is shown as being a member of the last generation of swordsmen? That's weird considering I thought he died before becoming a member. Plus, by process of elimination, that means he was officially the previous owner of Choujiru's Hiramekiri? That makes little sense to me. Considering what we knew about suigetsu and his brother.

We did get to see that the whole Raiga filler was not total bullcrap because we saw one of the members actually wielding his old swords. But we know for a fact, as everyone should have guessed before, that Raiga is not considered among the most recent members since he was not mentioned by Suigetsu. But the fact that Zabuza's sword can regenerate seemed way too convenient for all intensive purposes. I mean we spent so much time seeing that sword and never saw that ability. I don't exactly recall the chapters, but I guess Suigetsu was never able to carve people up while it was damaged?

All in all a chapter that did not live up to the hype of the extra time waited, but I suppose seeing all the swords in action made it bearable.

I thought it was a good chapter. Provided a lot of information on the 7 swordsmen and the swords they used. Who would have thought Zabuza's sword regenerates from the iron in blood, I think that is pretty amazing. All the swords have amazing abilities. This fight just got a lot more interesting. 5/5

You pretty much nailed it.

I do not like this stupid Edo Tensei battle. It seems like just a way to tie up loose ends: Suigetsu, Sai, The Seven Swordsmen. It is hard to care about attack strategies when I know that the resurrected bodies can only be stopped by epiphanies.

Hopefully Anko will come to and break the jutsu before we have to deal with too many more of these repetitive battles.

Yes you are right it was a decent chapter didn't lived up to the expectations at all. And who the hell cares about Suigetsu's older brother who mastered all the 7 swords as far as I can see these guys aren't on the invincible levels like Madara, Sasuke, Naruto or Kabuto. Really stupid seeing all these guys come up and wasting a whole chapter just learning about their sword's abilities. A real waste of a chapter.

Yeah Kabuto even sated that he wasn't really focused on the technique when Sai's brother and Sasori faded away, but with the orochimaru power inAnko the allied shinobi have to go back to the original (soul sealing, or incapacitation) to stop Edo Tensei instead of just Epiphanies about their life.

There is a good point to be made that I just noticed from this chapter. Suigetsu said it himself, "formally, the organization of the 7 Swordsman of the Mist barely exists today." That is amplified by the fact that we saw so few members over so long. Since Suigetsu mentioned Zabuza, Kisame and Choujirou, that means they were the last 3 official members to be alive (yes, Raiga is not included here in the manga but I'm sure in the Anime they will throw him in there). We know for a fact that Zabuza was part of the previous generation of the 7SM which means that only Kisame and Choujirou were part of the current generation.

Here is the point I'm driving at:

Given that information, why are there not more members of the current generation of 7SM?? This question was plaguing me for quite a while, but now it seems the answer has arrived; it was all thanks to Mangetsu. Like Suigetsu said, his brother mastered all 7 blades. That means he had significant time with each of them. That could also mean that he killed the wielders of the 4 blades we saw today resulting in a loss of a new generation in regard to those blades. Sound possible? If he killed them and later died, than there would be no official members able to replace them. Also, since no one officially killed and replaced Zabuza as a member, his portion of the 7SM generation line has also been cut. Considering Mangetsu was later killed, it would make sense that he wasn't considered a permanent wielder of any of the 7 swords. But he did have 4 of the 7 swords stored away for summoning at any time so I guess you could consider him the wielder of all of them.

But Mangetsu being considered among the previous 7SM is a bit concerning. If he did officially kill even one of those members we just saw, wouldn't he be considered part of the current generation, not the previous? I mean in reality, the 7th guy we saw should be the previous owner of Choujirou's Hiramikarei right? I guess it is possible, however, for Mangetsu to have been the official wielder of Hiramikarei at his time. Perhaps he killed the old Hiramikarei wielder and became an official member that way. Perhaps he then attempted to obtain all the blades and began taking out the other members. Its possible that after reaching a total of 5, Choujirou came along and killed him, taking the Hiramikarei away from him and becoming part of the current generation. If that were true, than it would explain why he only had access to 4 of the 7 for summoning, since only 1 of each of the 7 swords can exist at one time. Thoughts?

Haku really love 2 sacrifice him self 4 zabuza, he never get boor of doing that...

but the thing is that he cant die so even if zabuza hit him with kakashi he will survive.

Awesome chapter :T_T: finally we know all the swords and an entire generation of Seven Swordsman of the Mist. It seems for once the manga adapted itself to the anime with Raika's dual lightning swords.

I just love the 7SM ^^ and who would have known Suigetsu's brother was the leader of the 7SM? Not to mention how did Kabuto get a hold of all their swords '>.>

I love all the individual qualities of the swords, especially the longsword "Threading Needle" and the "Great Beheader"'s ability to regenerate through the opponent's blood wease:

It seems Mangetsu didn't own one specific sword, he could summon all of them at will or something as Suigetsu says he mastered all the swords, so he wasn't necessarily the previous owner of Hiramekarei.

This gives splendid material for our RP system ... and yes I've got a sword fetish

I don't think he can do dat sas can but I never seen kakashi do it...but all in all it was a good ch answered ?'s about da 7sm and day swords got to see dem fight with dem got to see a nice plain to try and stop dem...can kabuto see da battle thru da eyes of his puppets?

More than two weeks of waiting and yet there wasn't much......... But things have gotten pretty interesting now, i wonder that shadow mimic technique will save kakashi.... cuz he can't die at this point, when the fight has just begun... but i didn't see samehada anywhere............... i hope we get to see some good fighting next week...........
