We now know the full extent of Edo and by next chapter maybe Naruto has mastered His new move. And we should started thinking of who is going to stab each other first Madara or Kabuto you can now see neither trust the other and to stay alive each must make a plan against the other.

I agree that it would be Madara's brother, i first thought it was that guy from the hidden rain village their previous leader, b4 nagato became the leader of the hidden rain village.

Great job of explaining Edo Tensei, I think the 6th coffin was Kushina. She's one of the only ones with DNA left (within the past few years) that can still be summoned (because she was not sealed in the death god) that can restrain/control tailed beasts.

From the conversation that Kabuto has, it appears as though he has to improve on his control over the technique ... is it possible that he can loose control of those that are resurrected?

Also, what if that talisman is removed from those that are resurrected, are they able to control themselves freely?

I do find it somewhat unbelievable that people retain all of their original techniques since Itachi's eyes are in Sasuske and Pain's eyes are with Madara. Also, the tailed beasts were completely extracted from the Jinchuuriki's before their deaths, so wouldn't this negate their use of the beasts in Edo Tensei? I guess we'll find out, but i just find that kind of weird, especially since the beasts are now physically held in the King of Hell Statue ... how would they be able to access their powers ... kind of weird.

This chapter cleared a lot of theories and ideas... Almost like kishi is reading our posts and decides to give answers to our questions.

1st of all -> naruto won't work with the fox any time soon... He seems concentrated in the rasengan biju ball thing. And we won't see him fight untill the very end of the battle.

2nd -> no previous hokages for anyone. no jiraya also. Good!

3rd -> edo tensei is a mean technique... basically a summon (meaning that you only need chakra for the summoning itself and not to maintain it) that what it summons is basically invincible... And it seems it doesn't bring any drawbacks to the user... All is explained... But kabuto didn't say how to break the technique...interesting...

4th -> madara is afraid of kabuto... that's what i get from this chapter...

5th -> kabuto has more up his sleeve... what can it be?

6th -> now we know that the 6th coffin can't be the SO6P, or shishui or jyraia... Because kabuto didn't have acess to their DNA.

7th -> what is the whole "weapons of the six paths of pain" that may have the SO6P DNA?

8th -> why the hell does everyone talk about shishui but we still don't know a lot about him?

That's my thoughts about this chapter... can't wait for the next one...

7th -> i think he means the rods that the 6 peins used to stab and kill jiraya. and i really found it suspicious, because it seems kind of random and there was no need to mention this. except that kishi wants to revive jiraya later. which would be horrible in my opinion.

Ya it is kinda weird I mean Itachi's eyes are now with Sasuke and Nagato's ones with Madara. Even though this chapter helped clear a lot of things about Edo Tensei there are still many unclear things.

Three points worth replying to:

One, I don't believe for a second that Kushina is in the sixth coffin. It has to be someone notable, someone who would terrify Madara, and I can't believe she's it - he was never scared of her, and beyond being a powerful kunoichi she had no outstanding talents. (Okay, that chain thing is pretty cool, but even so.) She didn't have a good relationship with the Fox, and she wasn't able to control it, not in the way Bee can control the Hachibi. She's not a trump card in the way her husband was or her son is.

Two, we've already seen that happen with Shin and Sasori (look at the way Sasori moves his arms right before he disappears).

Three, it's been made clear several times, particularly by Kisame, that the jinchuuriki were all powerful shinobi in their own rights. I don't pretend to have the answers here, but I think they are being resurrected for that, rather than for some bond they might have with their tailed beasts.

i don't get why you people find that weird. see, itachis and nagatos eyes are just parts of their body just like their arms or teeth. they are part of their dna which is the blueprint for the summons. they come back like they were when they died. so if madara would have stolen nagatos teeth, would you expect the summoned nagato to have no teeth?

Ya I was always confident about the DNA being a requirement, thought it made a lot of sense. It was pretty clear that Kabuto knew exactly where Jiraya died, but he was too far down in the ocean for Kabuto to fish his DNA out and I guess since Kabuto was busy leading the leaf to the Madara's base that he didn't have time to go to the site of Kisame or Konan's death. In regard to the third 'stopping' the the 3rd coffin containing the 4th,

these are my thoughts exactly, where the 3rd simply thought he stopped it but didn't actually and it was meant to make us think that it wasn't just a randomly failed summon.

The anime clearly showed the 3rd stopping the coffin. If the 3rd didn't stop it, the coffin would have entirely made it's way to the surface, but it didn't. I want to say kishi made the anime makers hide more of the technique so it could be talked about later. If the 4th coffin rose entirely and was displayed, kishi would have to come up with some way to show that the technique wasn't a success. for ex, showing the 4th's body, but it simply collapses because theres no soul inhibiting that body. Hope that makes sense.

An interesting chapter - personally, I'm most stoked about the inevitable sparring match between Bee and Naruto. They're certainly both hot-headed enough to give it their all.

Anyway, I've reached the point where I have no more theories regarding Edo Tensei... except that Kabuto doesn't fully understand it. I don't see how he can. He obviously knows the technical side of things inside-out, being able to create that many bodies and control them all from source, but he doesn't understand souls, and he can't seem to sense if one of the bodies has been released. We can see that, because he made no mention of Sasori's or Shin's disappearances.

Kabuto's playing with fire. Hell, he's not playing with fire, he's playing with Amaterasu. There's only one thing worse than not knowing everything about something risky you're doing, and that's thinking you know everything. "Absolutely no risk to the user?" I can just tell those words are going to come back to haunt him.

Before or after Madara breaks his neck as well, of course.

(And who's with me on believing that Kitsuchi is some kind of mega-powerful Earth-element monster who will go down and personally drag every Zetsu up into the sun?)

totally agree Kitsuchi is a bad ass kage. Out of all the kages hes the last I would want to fight. Hes strong and has lots of experience.

Ok now I am confused to perform the Edo Tensei Kabuto needs the DNA of the dead right, so how did he summoned Nagato because it was only after Kabuto summoned Nagato that Madara found Nagato and took the Rinnegan which Konan was hiding. And about Itachi, I am sure that Zetsu took Itachi's body from which Madara took the Sharingan and then implanted it into Sasuke. Really confusing.

Yea dude I was trying to figure out the same thing heres my thoughts on Nagato.

During the Konoha invasion into the hidden rain village, oro, jiraiya, and tsunade met 3 orphans which we know as nagato, yahiko, and konan. During this time jiraiya trained the 3 orphans. With constant training of these orphans we can say there has been multiple DNA from nagato on jiraiya's clothing etc... and knowing oro im sure he saw nagato's rinnegan at least once and seeing he was special he figured he should obtain some sort of DNA. Oro always planned ahead even for future event's as we can see he knew all about madara and his plans before anyone else did.

As for Itachi, Kabuto is very smart, all he has to do is just find the crime scene where Itachi and sasuke fought and obtain a small portin of his blood sample due to the fact that Itachi was spilling blood from over usage of his ms and when sasuke rigged the shuriken and cut him in the leg. Because it was raining during that battle, im assure mostly all of the DNA outside has been washed away, but how about the DNA that's inside of the building? Maybe this is where he got a sample of Itachi's DNA. And also seeing that sasuke is Itachi's brother, Im sure all Kabuto needs is a little bit Of Itachi's DNA and he could use the remaining of sasuke's DNA to fully create a replica of Itachi's cells.

Heres my problem with kabuto summoning Danzo and shusui uchiha. Why couldn't he summon these two. I think Kishi made a mistake. Not only did Orochimaru helped danzo Implant the 1st DNA, he also helped him with shusui's implantation therefore, he should have been able to summon both of these men.

Kitsuchi is not a kage, I think he is the son (or son in law) of Onoki, Iwagakure's kage.

Danzo was not dead then and Kabuto never said he wanted to revive him. He only mentioned he could use his right eye to bring back Shisui. As for Shisui's DNA I have no idea, but probably Oro didn't think that much ahead. And back then Kabuto never knew Oro would be killed by Sasuke.
