[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 517 Discussion and 518 Predictions

its not nesessery defeat the edo tensei tech only enough beat the USER (kabuto)..... and thats easily for madara he can use sharingan and rinengan and now sasuke have ems so madara and sasuke easily can defeat kabuto......
But maybe not. WHAT IF KABUTO research some tech or implanted something to immuned himself from sharingan?

and orochimaru need someone soul to use edo tensei he used some student soul from soundvillage.... but kabuto dont need that....

I am pretty sure that to use the Edo Tensei technique sacrifices has to be made so I am quite confident that Kabuto also killed some random guys to use their body as the container if not so how come the dead guys are coming whose bodies are no longer in existence. And yes you are right in the last chapter it was cleared that even if Kabuto dies the summons will be there and I can also say that even if the summons are dead that doesn't mean that Kabuto will be defeated. But the thing is every technique has to have a weakness and controlling all those guys if the summons are defeated then I think Kabuto will also be defeated due to low chakra or something like that. One thing I am certain is that the Edo Tensei will be defeated and so will Kabuto and most probably by Sasuke.

5 for versuvio this time! it seems to be a great first skirmish of the war.

the reasons:

1. omoi’s balanced outlook towards the coming events.
2. kankuro’s validation of edo tensei.
3. sai’s opposite sides of reactions to be unveiled.
4. a great face off of two “ambush squads”
5. kabuto’s coming of age.
6. shinobi alliance’s underdog status.

1. omoi showed “anxiety” in the first page then “eagerness” in the last page. his doubt regarding kankuro’s leadership is also disturbing. but his doubt vanished after kankuro demonstrated his strategies and judgment.
2. kankuro punctuated the “edo tensei’s “meaning. it isn’t my claim, or shall I put it- one of my claims.
kankuro got me here. but like an errant shinobi – i stand corrected. i put that claim of mine to rest. my bad, my bad…
kankuro’s character is credible enough for the purpose – to clarify the 3rd’s first script.
…and hats off to my bro…omni. peace bro, peace.
3. we have known sai to be emotionless or shinobi of less if not fake expressions. in this chapter, his emotions will be tested as he comes face to face with his elder brother.
4. two ambush squads…get to meet “first” in the initial encounter!!! great thought!!! bravo! this one is for the records.
5. kabuto…damn…he overpowered anko. is anko dead, or is she half dead? if she still has a life in her left, then kabuto will subject her to experimentations.
man…kabuto is a scene to remember in this chapter’s single frame.

ah, aye mate alkad…could you tell me what is the “symbol” in kabuto’s temple part of the hood about? thanks mate!

i already begin to dissect kabuto’s entry as a great role player in the manga. his skills are being saved for better chapters. and kabuto has earned my wait.
i am eager, though, to see him in action more…
my eyes are itching to witness how kabuto would fare against;
1. ibiki
2. shikaku
3. gen. kakashi, and…
4. the triumvirate of shikamaru-ino-chouji or a shinobi of higher caliber than that of anko.

…but kabuto is definitely a powerhouse now…he won’t be easy to kill…so are his summons.

5. the shinobi’s ambush squad is definitely the underdog in this situation. the immortal-zombie-summons are really powerful. i think we will get to see deidara’s garuda and sasori’s deadly metal dust again.
…but the zombies must not underestimate sai’s power to bind them with the serpentine-ink-binding jutsu. i remember when sai bound sasuke with it, sasuke had to blow up the cave to be free…and sasuke didn’t readily engaged sai then. a testament that sasuke respected whatever powers sai possessed that time. i believe that we could get to see those powers now. sai is not a survivor of a 'grueling fight to the end test' for no reason at all.
kankuro will surprise us with his skills as well. and the other squad members…i just have a feeling that they were not assigned to this ambush group if they are not powerful themselves. “the power unknown” to us is very much ‘the trend’ of the manga. a good example is kabuto…

…and how would the shinobi squad handle it?...
a. sai or kankuro binds and/or immobilizes the zombies;
b. omoi slices them to pieces
c. the earth guy buries them deep in the ground.
d. if attacked, the byakugan guy will defend them.
two shinobi casualties so far and an injured one…and zero casualty?(is this correct?!!—i guess this will remain as 'zero' since the zombies are already dead!!!he he) for the bad guys…

my prediction for the next chapter would be…
…the initial encounter will end to a draw. shinobi reinforcements will arrive soon
…I think darui and co. will arrive or temari or gaara and battalion…
Omoi and darui tandem will be great…so is kankuro and temari…much more a powerful gaara…

..deidara-sasori plus company will wisely retreat waiting for some back up…

man you wrong bcz the entire manga is predictable! naruto is kill every enemy with some punch and thats.... akatsuki is lost the war bcz naruto defeat everyone thats gonna happen!!!!
this is why so freakin boring to me his manga bcz too predictable... naruto always win hes a genius he can learn every tech a shorter time than any kage..... now he too overpowered bcz he is the hero?? like goku only dragonball and now naruto is the anime where the hero is too overpowered and the other charachters is now cant fight the enemy like kakashi... anko... and the entire leaf village....only naruto can fight with the enemy like dbgt...
and there is no tactics in the "naruto" fight only brutality.....

i'm all for the alliance as well, i hope Kabuto gets a good beating!

but the start of the war will be a great time to provide a lot of good back story on minor characters

i dont know how much we can truly expect to see.
look at how they passed the opportunity to show some history between two of orochimarus subordinates.... kabuto and anko could have had a great flashback, dialogue, or whatever. however all we get is two frames. hidden snake hands same time, and then kabuto's snake biting anko in the neck with blood coming out of her mouth. I'm not so sure we're gonna get a lot of extra info on these coming encounters, mates. Its most likely gonna be high speed mode for kishi. He has a LOT to cover, and it might ruin the momentum to get thrown into any serious flashbacks. Small "blurbs" here and there in dialogue, probably most likely. But i wouldn't expect much.

Thanks for pointing it out ... I didn't really pay attention to the sign on his hood until you mentioned it. Then I had that feeling that I'd seen it before, somewhere related to a snake. So here's what I found:

I think that the symbol has the shape of a U, though I've never seen it from the back

I'm not good with snakes, so there may be cobra species that have a more similar pattern.
Some may argue U_U

But I think I'll settle for this meaning.

my question about edo tensi is i know there arms and legs regenerate if the get blown off or whatever but would their head regenerate if the were to cut their heads off if not that would deff be a way to immobalize them just like with hidan

myan what would happen next. Maybeh Madara summons the tailed beasts to destroy Kohana and maybe Kabutomaru gets captured by Kankurous gang. Im also getting a feeling Sasuke gonna lose to Naruto:flaw:Then Madara betrays everyone and naruto and Sasuke team up to beat Madara. Im JUST GONNA STAY TUNED. (P.S. im sick of the fillers in the anime , they are funny but Kishi should just get on with the story)
