Honestly i think U R the hard headed person! you try to see all of the info as evidence towards minato is better than all. Its great that u r carefully looking at the info but its possible to see it too closely and to miss the point. if madara was almost defeated already he probably had used most if not all of his chakra and was not in any physical condition to use any jutsu or space tech anymore.. It probably takes alot of chakra to do that...
He continously tells me I am "hardheaded" because I refuse to accept his point of view, which is not even true. In the Minato vs. Madara thread, he did the same thing as well. Whenever I would present a different side of the situation to him (or correct his false information), he would always write me off by saying "you have no proof" or "you can't prove this to me," when much of the things he wrote in fact had no evidence as well. I'm surprised that despite all the things the Naruto characters have said about that subject (chapters 440 and 455), he still continued to argue in favor of something that had no ground.
If Madara were as weak as yondaimeminato said, why would he himself confront Minato, Kushina, and a newborn Naruto? Because he is not as "weak" as he lets on; Madara lied to Sasuke about what happened sixteen years ago with the Nine-Tails; he could be lying about just how much power he still has.

as do his eyes, and their power."

"Today Madara is a pathetic shell of his former self. He's no longer worthy of being considered the greatest Uchiha."
Look at that; Itachi just contradicted himself. He says Madara is "alive and well," powers still intact, yet is a "pathetic shell of his former self." Why does Itachi do this? Because, knowing how much Sasuke craves power, he does not want him to get involved with Madara, by presenting him as a weak character who lost all his power a long time ago.

"I can't believe Uchiha Madara is really still alive...why is someone of your caliber going about this in such a roundabout manner? As powerful as you are, you should be able to execute any plan without a hitch."
The Tsuchikage, having fought Madara before, recognizes his extraordinary strength, and asks him why he is doing everything "in such a roundabout manner;" because if Madara were to display all his strength, the Kages would take action faster. Madara wants to make the Kages comfortable by saying he is weak and cannot do anything, after his loss to Hashirama Senju. Perhaps Madara might really be planning on showing his full strength when he needs it most - the Fourth Shinobi World War.

"Madara himself is taking a great risk using the power of the seven bijuu this way. If it were no risk, then he would not have gone to the trouble of coming here and attempting to negotiate. It would seem that the situation is not entirely in his favor."
This is what I meant. By making himself appear powerless, he is giving the Kages hope, but, as I said, he might be doing this intentionally. You make someone feel comfortable, then you completely exploit that feeling of safety, crushing them entirely.

"A member of Akatsuki...the one with the mask. Back then...he saw through everything I did...he's no ordinary ninja..."
If Minato was able to fight against Madara, I'm sure he would. But it is just for that reason - seeing through everything he did, Minato found himself unable to even challenge Madara; and that is why he sealed the Nine-Tailed Fox into Naruto, hoping he would be able to fight Madara should he attack Konoha again. That Minato vs. Madara thread should've been closed when this chapter came out.

"He told me the guy with the mask from Akatsuki was behind the fox attack 16 years ago! And he was so strong not even the 4th could do anything against him!"
Naruto himself says it; repeating a point Minato made earlier. Ignorance is the only way one can keep arguing that Minato is more powerful than Madara; it is Kishimoto's story, and he says himself Madara is much more powerful than Minato.

"You're a smart one. I expected nothing less of Uchiha Madara...you're a different sort altogether."
Kabuto, who has orchestrated a situation that could prove to be quite dangerous for Madara, still respected the strength he had, as everyone else in the series does.
Having said all this, I think that Madara is covering what should be there, not what isn't. His left eye, in my opinion, is most likely still functioning, and could possibly be the one containing his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Like I said, it could all be part of a plot to keep his true strength hidden from all.
