Naruto is one of the indirect descendent of the Senju... As is most likely half of konoha. The Senju blood was mixed and thinned through out several generations. Everyone knows that. What some people are mistaking is that Senju weren't all Mokuton Users. Only the 1st was. So, and since we don't know of the 1st having a son/daughter, naruto isn't a descendent of the 1st... He has Senju blood. That means he, as many other konoha ninja have origins in Senju.

Example:

Senju man + Aburame Woman = 1 kid. Kid + uzmaki woman = 1 baby. Baby is 1/4 Senju, 1/4 aburame and 1/2 uzmaki. Baby is Senju descendent... Imagine that times a hundred...

To some other posts (agree/disagree) which are too long to quote. Not having the Senju name does not prove 100% that naruto is not a Senju descendant. However, even if he is, not having that name means that his genes likely to be very different from them. Taking that and that the Senju were not known for any common genetic traits, means that naruto will almost certainly not show any powers inherited from his descendants. Not even Minato had any special power.

If he is a Senju descendant, that may only be to please some people and displease others. This is a manga about will and ambition, not about how some people are born powerful or from powerful families - that's pretty much the motto of the story

Everyone keeps arguing that Naruto is a senju or not a senju descendant. What if Naruto's blood comes from a family that wasn't well known but powerful at the same time?

I personally think Naruto is going to be both a Senju descendant through Minato and the descendant of a second clan (Uzumaki) who also has the blood of the So6P's youngest son (or perhaps a daughter we have yet to have introduced, that would be a crazy twist and who knows what she could have inherited from her father, the ability to chain down bijuu maybe).

The Uzumaki being blood of the Sage is pure theory based on my feeling that eventually Naruto will become as powerful as the Sage himself and to me it would make sense if he had an additional tie to the Sage to explain his eventual mastery of both the body and the eyes (yes I think he will end up with the Rinnegan). We'll see this week hopefully, if Sasuke shows his new EMS and they are Rinnegan instead, if that theory pans out.

The reason I think Naruto is a Senju is because of the hints that we have gotten about Tsunade being Minato's mother (who the father is though is a mystery to me, could be Jiraiya but could also be Dan). The problem is that so many people seem to never use their last names, is Tsunade, Senju Tsunade, or something else (Namikaze)? Was Dan, Namikaze Dan? Was Jiraiya, Namikaze Jiraiya? My guess based on Naruto's affinity for Toads, and his natural ability as a Sage makes me think it was more than just teaching that has him so similar to Jiraiya. It could just be that out of his love for Tsunade Jiraiya took an interest in her family, training both Minato and Naruto, but I have a feeling there is more to it than that.

In any case I think there is going to be a lot more to Naruto's heritage than just a single blood connection to the Senju. Of course that is just my theory and Kishi has a magical way of coming up with the stuff I never would have.

I would like to re-write my prediction, which I put here a few months ago with another account.

Madara is going to have 10 tails one way or another (the chakra of 9 tails not sealed in naruto or taking from naruto and tsunade give her life to naruto just like gaara)

At the end of the fight naruto vs sasuke, sasuke lose and understands what he did (naruto ones again change someone) and offer his eyes to naruto, sakura implants them.
Just like obito-kakashi
Then naruto become so6p. Joining of body and eyes.
Final battle so6p vs madara

I also want to add something. I thing orochimaru, danzo and madara have links.
We all know medical abilities of oro.
Then danzo has implanted sharingans. It could be possible but how about geenes from 1st hokage. Just like yamato.

Also it is interesting both danzo and madara collects eyes from uchiha massacre.

One final thing. When madara shows his face to sasuke. There was a scar on his face and sasuke seem irritated. My guess is sasuke was looking to madaras left empty eye hole.

Because it was obitos' body and madara uses as oro did to other people.
That will also explain the sudden identy changes of madara.
He sometimes act like a child but sometimes like an old migthy man.
Madara is probably letting him playing around a little.

Please do not stuck on obito stuff. Because i am also tired of that.

Back in the olden days, we used to get spoilers like that every week ( not just breaks ) until the jump message to the scanlators (sp?). Now spoilers come out later. Usually close to 'official' release time.

Naruto is not the Sage of Six Paths. He was wearing the Sage of Six Paths' seal. that was the seal that the Sage of Six Paths created to contain the bijuu.

Not endless. Don't forget that ALL sharingan jutsu (as all other jutsu) depend on chakra. Even with the ability to use mageykou sharingan freely without losing ones eye sight, the fact that it uses up great amounts of chakra doesn't change.

EMS didn't give him more chakra.

Besides if it were that way, how could the 1st beat Madara? Endless genjutsu? Without limit? EMS must have a disadavantage. A big one. As well as a weak point. If it didn't, Madara would not have been beaten. The 1st was a great ninja (one of the must powerfull) but all of his ability envolved "physical" attacks. Since Madara is imune to Physical attacks, one can teorise that he was beat due to a weakness in EMS, that left him vulnerable to the 1st. Also, the 1st wasn't a genjutsu user. All Uchiha can cast powerfull genjutsu. If they were "unlimited" or without flaws, Madara would have been able to win against the 1st. There must be a flaw.

and EMS is an ultimate tool, a sharingan upgraded to its highest level....
think of it this way: if you use a superb tool to do a task its as if you exert no effort at all to do the task.... the same way with EMS...its as if you expend no chakra while doing doujutsus.... Hashirama and Madara is equal in strenght and skill....the only difference they had that gave hashirama the upperhand is his Passion, his Will...

you have to look into their eyes for you to be hypnotized... really? how come itachi, even with jst MS, he can cast genjutsu without having to look into his eyes? enlighten me...

somehow he also mastered genjutsu without using doujutsu.... just like kurenai... when his opponent is under his normal genjutsu, i think he follows it up with a Tsukoyomi....or a genjutsu that alters time...

sasuke = when so6p became the jinchuuriki the jyuubis pure evil mixed in with rinnegan. As it got watered down there became a good side (byakugan) n an cursed one (Sharingan).

sharingan was born from the rinnegan, the positive side and the cursed side separating
wen the jyuubi was controlled n the so6p became a jinchuuriki i believe the evil stuff spread though the elder brother instead of the younger (since its the power ups are easy to get)

just my thoughts its not true because it was never mentioned in the manga

You said not to pick out the Obito stuff how can it be avoided. Oro took over a couple of bodies but when he did he had total control and the souls of the real person was captured in that ritual place. Anyways Obito's body was CRUSHED in the rocks so why on earth would Madara take a body which is half destroyed its just common sense. We still don't know about Madara but its quite understandable that Madara was pretending to be Tobi who was childish so that none of the members who don't know about him can't have any doubts. Also I agree with all the other stuffs except that Madara taking the Kyuubi and Tsunade has to save Naruto. Naruto is now on a whole different level I don't think Kishi will show us that Naruto will be defeated and the resurrected and then defeat the same guy or Sasuke who is most probably going to be stronger than Madara.

i have a though...just like when naruto tried to suck kyubi chakra...kushina came out of kyubi chakra and guided naruto to conquer the kyubi...just the same way s06p must have kept some kind of power in kyubi chakra (not kyubi hatred just chakra)...he must have known to conquer kyubi it requires a lot of will and good heart with no evil intentions...as every one knows kyubi is a mass of hatred...he knows who ever conquer kyubi must have a good heart who can lead the naruto world to peace...

Awesome theory id say. Lol who knows it may aswell be true ... But then again. The elder and younger brothers were born as Yin n Yang. So Sasuke x Naruto ...

Dont u think the 3rd sister would make stuff complicated?
