Hello all, I am a new member, but i have not misssed an episode or a manga chapter in years I have also read this entire thread...i have a few things to say on my first post about what has happened and what is to be, I apologize upfront for the lentgh:

1) I hope Hinata is not dead because I have been waiting since the first chuunin exams for her to tell Naruto how she feels. I am pretty sure she was stabbed by Pein, but if you look on page 13 right before pein stabs her, his eye makes that glaring sound effect at Naruto which could have been a genjutsu of him killing hinata so he could coax Naruto into going beserk.

i hope you're right, but i also hope naruto doesnt lose to pain

2) He could not have stabbed Ma becuz pain used Shinra Tensei to repel her the opposite way of where Hinata was if you look at page 7.

3) Speaking of page 7 who is the other figure with Pein and Naruto that appears to be wearing an akatsuki robe in the top right panel.

yea i wonder who is it, there are obviously 2 person there and naruto on the floor.

4) How much chakra exactly does Pein have!!! Konan said he was overdoing it by using the Shinra Tensei to destroy Konoha in 429 and then he fought Naruto with the ^ bodies up until the last one remains, which still has enough chakra to Counter Naruto and throw a Shinra Tensei at hinata, Ma, and now take on a 6-tail Kyuubi. C'mon Kishi, at least give the gy some limits.

he is supposed to be your uberstrongwtfbbq opponent, so he has to be made godly.

5) Hinata is a Main family Hyuuga, there should be a Clan full of Branch Family Hyuugas (which I beleive outnumber the Main Family) who are not protecting Hiashi and Hanabi (whom the "Ko..." guy said were away) jumping in at that point. I mean they all have the Byakugan so once Hinata jumped in and started talking they should have stepped in to sacrifice themselves.

6) I would not be surprised if Tsunade gives her life for hinata using Chiyo;s techinque because Hinata is the FIRST person to ever say they LOVE naruto. Tsunade would understand that he needs a person like that in his life in order to be truly happy. Kishi could not, would not, and should kill that character off in one chapter without plans of bringingthem back in the future.

I hate to see tsunade die, there is really no clear candidate for hokage now.

7) If Naruto does survive this battle and doesn't become Hokage, I would love to see who becomes Hokage instead of him becuase they should have been stepped in to Kill Pein if someone like Naruto is considered weaker than them.

Being hokage doesnt necessarily need to be the strongest, he has to love the village and willing to sacrifice. You wont want a strong hokage who runs away when the village is invaded. Naruto sakura and co are far too young to be hokage. Only one i see being capable is kakashi, and maybe shikamaru, but he's young too.

well actually if you think about Gaara is around the same age as Naruto and he is the Kazekage

Nice catch on page 7. Didn't notice it till you said so.
It either is Tobi/Madara or Kisame. I doubt it's any of the Pain bodies.

For all the people who keep saying that Tsunade is going to give her life by using the same jutsu that Chyio-Ba-Sama used on Gaara, You should go back and read Manga chapter 280; Particularly pages 8 - 9;

This proofs that only Chyio-Ba-Sama mastered this Jutsu; Tsunade cant use it b/c she doesn't know about the jutsu. :headband:

The Sand only use Gaara as a weapon and not a leader but after Gaara sacrificed his life for the Sand, maybe they accept him. But Gaara is very mature for his age and very bright.

you are right about the maturity thing, i hope Naruto has shown maturity after this battle he seems to have progressed far mentally and physiaclly with his Sage mode the way he thinks critically about every move against the same guy who beat Jaraiya.

we'll have to wait and see after the battle, if he has really grown up after so many people who loved him are willing to die for him.

Right now, there's no time for Naruto to take charge of the village. He needs to train like crazy to beat Madara. So, if Tsunade is out, kakashi is next but if he's out, one of the old geezers or even Donzo might claim power.

Your correct in that she alone mastered as the creator of the jutsu. BUT That doesn't mean that Tsunade can't use her own power to save the lives of others. She already has used her chakra reserve to help others heal but it shortens her life in each use and so really she IS capable of overusing it (often) to the point of running out of chakra that results in her own death.

Also, thanks for reminding me in that everyone keeps saying that Naruto has a power to change people. (on page 12 of 280) Another reason I think Sasuke is playing double agent in continuing in Itachi's role for peace and for avenging Itachi's life. Sasuke may very well intercept Pain. Who knows?

IMO Naruto really needs the Body Flicker technique or Flying Thunder God if he wants to equal the mangekyou sharingan of Madara, or the Gekkei Genkai Naruto will get (noticed from Kishi interview) must be a strong thing.

after Naruto changed Gaara, Gaara said: I will follow the dream to become Kazekage of the Sand Village.

Naruto must become Hokage, or i'm getting the idea if he fights Madara and he isn't strong enough he'll have to sacrifice himself for the village.. But he doesn't know any good stuff like the sealing death god jutsu the third used on Orochimaru which the third learned from the fourth, Naruto's father. I'm sure Naruto will become capable of more than he is now.

It's Naruto's dream to become Hokage and to be acknowledged by everyone. His dad was Hokage and even Jman was offered the position. The point of the manga and the Hokage mountain is to have his face on it. peace

he should inherit something from his father, after all, his dad was supposed to be the greatest ninja konoha ever had. the flying thundergod technique sounds cool.

PS: naruto still doesnt know yondaime is his dad right? he has to know after this battle.i hope it would be tsunade who tells him with her last breath(that would make it more emotional), and hopefully he gets a letter from his dad explaining why he did all those things, and after hearing all that naruto learns to grow up and be a real man. but thats all my wishful thinking anyway...

Naruto blasts pein twice.
pg.3-4 Pein dodges second blast, then Naruto suddenly appears behind Pein
Pein : hes really fast! (close up on his eyes)
Pein uses Shinrai-Tensei n Naruto does a claw attack at the same time.
Narutos claw is shown penetrating through Shinrai. while Naruto gets knockedbacked,like a normal punch,stopping Naruto's onslaught for a few seconds
pg.5 Pein: It's not wise to keep this going on any further
Naruto rushes Pein, Pein stands still as he approaches IMPACT!!!!*dust clouds appear*with a lil blood splatter
pg.6 Hinata wakes into consciousness, *cough's blood*
Hinata: Naruto.....
Hinata reaches hands out to the battle scene
pg.7 Neji: Gai-sensei! *Neji's shocked face*
Neji: Our Village!!
Gai: STEP ON IT!!
pg.8 Naruto is pierced on his shoulder and legs with black metal comming from the ground, Pein is holding Naruto from the neck with the Demon taking souls behind Naruto

self comment: i feel kinda bad making pein say "these eyes"
i coulda made pein retreat when naruto attacked neji, meaning konan didnt actually leave to help yahiko but for something else. like to get behind inos dad or face them before they actually reach nagato

If anything Naruto should inherit in some way or given as a gift or acquire is the Bringer of Darkness Jutsu.

It negates sight. Just what is needed against anyone that depends solely on their sight in a fight.

If Hinata is indeed dead then perhaps we will see him back (after a long drawn out mangasof him in demon fox) in human form and using the last of his strength (he could hardly stand after he went 4 tails) to pick up Hinata and cry and vow to control his chakra to avenge her and the entire village.

Ohh! new prediction! (a bit far fetched, but oh well.)

After completely annihilating god pain; Naruto runs to Hinata and notices she's still barely alive, she says something romantic/sad, naruto kisses her and inadvertently transfers some of the kyuubi's chakra into Hinata. Giving her temporary healing powers like that of Naruto.

You might not be far off in that your humor may actually come true in that Naruto may indeed kiss Hinata as her first and last kiss before she dies....After he is 6tails and who knows it may be her weak chakra that she is still alive (barely) that causes him to calm down and control himself.

I get what you're sayin bro, I was just putting it up there b/c people kept saying that she was goin to use the life transfer jutsu. :naruto:

On another note, I feel that Sasuke will be the last person that Naruto is able to change; I just see Naruto and Sasuke dieing against each other at the end of the series with Naruto finally reaching Sasuke; of course that wont happen until the next time jump but still, Something I like looking forward to. :headband:
