im not sure actually...what did he say "even in sage mode i can only do 2 rasen shurikens. so that means i've only got 4 left"

when he said that - he was out of sage mode/natural energy, but I think he is saying in general terms -that is, in terms of his physical body

I'm pretty sure he is taking damage from them in both sage/normal mode...there is still probably cellular damage but it is either reduced or unnoticeable in sage mode (until after the fight)

but we will see because he is using a lot of them - which sucks and is repetitive but there are new moves once it is 1v1

Each time Naruto charges natural energy up he has enough for two rasenshurigan. So Naruto used up two "batteries" he has only one left. I don't think Naruto is hurt because natural energy is different and at sage mode Naruto is stronger which mean he is stronger at forming and confining chakra. We saw the natural rasenshurigan was really confined/compressed to the size of a plate and it expanded when released. The fact that Naruto is able to compressed the chakra so much it would imply that the spinning chakra can't rebound back into his hand preventing injuries.

This chapter was pretty good. It is a setup for next weeks manga (in color i may add).
We learned a few very important things from this chapter
1-How Naruto maintains sage mode via KB
2-What the scroll on Naruto's back is for (I think it's frog contract too becuase it was rolled out when Bunta, and the other frogs were summoned)
And Naruto's use of Rasangan and KB is rediculous as always. He transformed a clone into RS which was pretty smart. I for one still hold the hope he''ll use more jutsu. Mabye in next weeks against God Realm.

No, I don't think it's the toad contract. When Naruto signs the toad contract way back when, the scroll the toad brought (not the one Jiraiya had) looked different. I do think there'll be more to it than just the (reverse) summoning we saw. By the way, why would it be a "reverse" summons anyway? Unless it's just 'cause the toad was the one to do it, wouldn't it be like a normal summons, where a toad (in this case a clone) is summoned from Toad Mountain? I just don't get the reverse part of it.

Did he just block that guy's eye sight? I saw Naruto smash that pain's face ( WWE style )...That's why it's just God Realm Vs Naruto now...

Wow, another good one. Is it just me or is this getting better and better? Just when you thought Pein's done for... BAM!!! He got his powers back.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think God Real Pain got his powers back because he was splitting them among the other Pains, so when one dissapeared, he was stronger.

Yeah, that was clever. I think Naruto hit that fat Pain in the face too and at the same time prevented him from seeing the attack from above toward Hell Pain.

Hell Pain is dead and fat Pain might be dead too. The important thing is hell pain is dead so he can't revive other bodies.

So we are left with God Pain with full strength returned. I hope fat Pain is dead.
I think each Pain has only one power because each kind of chakra receiver can handle only one kind of chakra like Sikhamaru's chakra blade that is for shadow. One Pain left is easier but God Pain has his power back which he could blast another part of Konoha into a crater. So I would expect Naruto's friends to help out or run far far away.

If and when God Pain is killed in this battle. Nagato will get 6 more bodies to replaced Pains. But I doubt Nagato will want to lose his friend/God Pain.

So, my prediction is Nagato will use God Pain to blast Konoha one more time and flee because Pain was always saying: I want you to know what real pain is.

Shikamaru's blade isn't just for shadow. He got it from Asuma who used wind with it... Wonder if the chakra being sent to it could be disrupted, rendering Pain useless, giving Konoha a chance to study him and figure out some secrets.

what was funny the clones left on frog mountain have nothing to do just wait there and get troubled by birds. but one thing seeing as how juugo talks with birds maybe naruto in sage mode can also communicate with birds and maybe they will tell him about juugo and then sasuke. just a thought that popped in my mind

Nice idea. It may not be the birds, but he will be able to communiate with animals wandering around.

The difference between Shika's and Naruto's wisdom is that Shika has always been able to study the enemy long before fighting, and Naruto comes up with ideas as he fights.

With the exception of his use of the clones, maybe.

So, here's what I think Naruto should do: He should create a thousand (or just a bunch) of shadow clones and have them disperse around the area. Then Pain, who saw how the idea worked, will have to worry about them. I'm guessing Pain's probably not as good as Naruto the Sage. With the possibility of recharging sage mode every time it runs out, Naruto has an extreme upper hand. Or, if there's a bunch of clones back in Myobukistan, then all he has to do is have a couple of shadow clones running around where he is, and when he gets in trouble, THEY pull the scroll off of THEIR back to do the summons. I still don't get the "Reverse" part of it, unless it's because it's a toad summoning a human. Would Naruto just say Kuchoise Summoning Jutsu (minus the reverse?)

Yeah. He totally fore-armed dude in the face. I think he's probably done for, as long as Naruto used katas. Seriously, how did he transform into a FRS? So he can transform into forms of energy? He can make himself a ghost, or a lightning strike... Come on! I know it's cool and all (It is cool), but there's gotta be some limit to the transformations.

True, his analyctical skills have seen to grown immensely.

Naruto will win. Whether against the paths or against Nagato himself...Why?
Because Naruto is Naruto...the boy who is just too tenacious...no matter how hard it gets for him, he'll BITE flesh off pain with his teeth if it's the last thing he does to:
1---Avenge Jiraiya
2---Make Pain pay for the destruction to his village
3---Make Pain feel pain for the human casualties in his village
4( Though this is uncertain )---Punish Pain for killing Kakashi

This will probably take a good number of chapters and plot twists, but he'll end up winning

A question has just crossed my mind. How do we know the Naruto fighting Pain is the real one? What if he's the one left at the mountain?

He would then be able to make more shadow clones (this in case he hasn't figured out how to make clones "manufacture" more clones). And more important, if the one fighting against Pain gets his ass kicked, it will just disappear leaving Pain absolutely confused. Naruto could never get beaten by anybody then

All he would need to do is move to another hideout and stay there.

Nice chapter....kinda reminds me of the trick he pulled on zabuza though with sasuke with the shuriken shadow technique so nothing
really new for me...still think that he is going to pull out some more jutsu's i.e. combined ones with the toads and other of the 4th's

I was thinking the same thing, when this is finally put into anime are we gonna get that screeching sound effect that goes with it. It'll be intresting to see
