wow i have to praise kishi, cause despite what might happen in the future he made my life since naruto a little more interesting and less boring.
i think naruto still has much too show, and this fight with pain might end soon.
its a perfect cenario to konoha's villagers acknowledge naruto's strength and will of fire!!
i don't think sasuke will come to konoha, come on madara give him a mission and sasuke didn't complete it so it's only natural that before he goes crush konoha, he cathes killerbee.
i read some posts and saw some people saying for us to stop refering the kyuubi and how naruto will use it in the future.
but come one it's ony reasonable to that to happen, i know all the history till now naruto has been advised to not use kyuubi's power, but guys u re forgetting something essential, why is kyuubi even there (in naruto's) in the first place?!?! would yondaime really sealed it in naruto just to stop the beast?!? or has he had second intentions?! of course he had, so its only natural that something like controlling it of befriending it might happen.
**about naruto's training in toad mountain, i think kishi jumped a lot , i mea come on naruto wouldn't have the scroll in his back just for fun or because it looks cool, he should know what it means, and what carries within it. And there's more we didn't see yet any frog katas any toad tecniques, so it must be much more than this so fuka could say he surpassed jiraiya, (don't forget the awsomes moves jiraiya made against pain, i need much more to surpass that)

Nice post, mostly in agreement. One thing to add is that the seal to the Kyuubi is weakening as time passes. Naruto must control that power not simply try to ignore it. If the seal breaks, then they're all dead. I think Minato knew this and left the key to Naruto for this explicit purpose. Jiraiya acted on this, etc. Other people have said the same thing.
Kakashi lost his left eye, but received Sharingan. If he were to lose a limb, why not just track down Kimimaro and attach a prosthetic. Kakashi doesn't lose, he upgrades. Seriously, besides Danzou, how many crippled ninja have we seen?

Never thought about Minato being a sage...and it does make sense that he was one too...after all he was Jirayias pupil...remember he could summon frogs? (from the battle with the 9 tails he was on top of Gamabunta I think)

Sasuke doesn't know yet that they failed. So unless he runs into some of raikages men, he will continue towards konoha.
I agree that all along the 4th had something more in mind when he sealed off the 9 tails. He meant for Naruto to know or use it more...so could be true because of when jiraya told the frog to give the key to naruto. The key that minato gave him.
I don't think Sasuke it going to show up any time soon. He failed to capture the eight-tails and I doubt Madara is going to just let him leave. He'll show up a while after the Pein/Naruto fight.
Man! I haven't been registered (or even visited) on this site before this week. I think I just learned not to visit on wednesdays before the release. I didn't want to read confirmed spoilers (and really don't know if I have yet), but it's like a car wreck: You have to look when it's put right there in front of you. Now, I have a couple of ideas in my head of what's gonna happen, but I don't know for sure, so I'm still ok. I think I'm only going to be here on release day, after I've read the latest chapter, or in the couple of days following. No one's fault but my own. I knew what could've happened to me, gambled, and might have lost. =( ( =) )
You know what's funny? Naruto's such a good manga because of the unpredictability. I'm also currently staying current on Bleach. For Naruto, we can't guess what's gonna happen, but I bet in the upcoming Bleach, there's gonna be some sword fighting. Bleach, if he fights, is probably gonna start losing, then something happens where he wins. You know?
Yeah, I read the Bleach Manga too. But all the fights are all the same. First the guy(both good or bad) fights but he fights very gently at first and when he gets hurt then tells the other guy that he was holding back. And then next he fights harder by opening a power thingy and when that fails he opens another power thingy. It's so predictable that I don't like reading Bleach Manga anymore.
I agree with you that Naruto is great because it is very hard to predict what comes next. But I think that Naruto will have to learn to control the 9 tails because both Sasuke is able to open the seal of the 9 tails and Madara is able to control the 9 tails. The previous poster was right about this because the main character, Naruto, is special because of the 9 tails and he must learn the way of the 9 tails.

plus naruto has a very engrossing story. so many twists and unknowns, probably all gonna come together at the end.
