Well there actualy there are other elements like wood and ice, but they are a mix of basic 5 elements...So I think that the revealing of the 6th element will be the true power of rinengan. And come to think of, we havent seen pain using standard element jutsus... I mean we saw summoning, this gravity thing, he brought back to life dead bodies, he can extract human soul, but we havent seen any katon, doton and so on...Something to think about...

Okay, this is where things get trick. So, this is where I am gonna have to reveal the details behind which element is weaker and strong to what.
Fire + Water = Oil ; Seeing as how its Fire and Water Combined and Fire is Weak to Water, the weakness of Water is filtered out from this jutsu. These type of jutsu only have the weakness of normal earth jutsu. Which is the Earth Element of equal or greater strength.
Fire + Wind = Poison ; Another case when an element that can trump the other is used together. As wind is weak to fire, the weakness to fire is filtered out. Meaning, these type of jutsu are only trumped by jutsu that are of the water nature of equal or greater strength.
Fire + Earth = Magma ; This is an odd case with these two combining. Fire is weak against Water, but Earth is strong against water. With this, it means in order to trump a Magma jutsu you need a water technique that is of equal or greater level then the magma jutsu. This type of jutsu also has a weakness which is to Lightning type jutsu, that is of equal or greater level.
Fire + Lightning = Light ; In this case, because of the Fire portion of the jutsu it has a strength against Wind jutsu but has a weakness to Water Jutsu. With lightning it has a weakness against Wind jutsu but has a strength against Earth jutsu. Because of the elements it is neutral to wind. This element can trump earth jutsu, but can be trumped by a Water jutsu of equal or greater value.
Water + Wind = Ice ; With this affinity, because of Water it is able to trump Fire jutsu but is weak against earth jutsu. Because of the Wind it is weak against fire jutsu but can trump lightning jutsu. With the two affinities, it makes it neutral against wind type jutsu. Able to trump lightning jutsu, and being weak against earth jutsu
Water + Earth = Wood ; With this affinity, because of Water it is able to trump Fire jutsu but is weak against earth jutsu. Because of the earth is is weak against lightning jutsu but can trump water. Fire jutsu only make Wood jutsu stronger, and unless its a higher rank it will not destroy the wood. It is neutral against Fire jutsu. But has a weakness to Lightning Jutsu
Water + Lightning = Shadow ; With this affinity, because of water it is able to trump fire jutsu but is weak against earth jutsu. Because of the lightning affinity it is strong against earth but weak against wind. This type of jutsu is neutral when it comes to Earth Jutsu. Become stronger because of fire jutsu, and only a strong one can trump it. And is weak against the Wind element
Wind + Earth = Sand ; With this affinity, because of the wind it is weak to fire but strong against lightning. With earth, it is weak to lightning but strong against water. This type of jtusu is neutral against Lightning Jutsu. This type of jutsu can be trumped by higher level or equal level fire jutsu, and trumps water jutsu.
Wind + Lightning = Magnetism ; with this affinity, Wind is strong against lightning but is weak against fire. Lightning is weak against Wind, but is strong against Earth. Magnetism jutsu is neutral against the lightning element. Magnetism jutsu are weakened in the presence of fire jutsu. Magnetism jutsu are intensified in the presence of Earth Jutsu.
Earth + Lightning = Gravity ; with this affinity, because of Earth you have a strength to Water jutsu and a weakness against Lightning Jutsu. Because of Lightning you have a strength against Earth and a weakness against Wind. This type of jutsu is neutral with the Earth element. Water jutsu are trumped by Gravity. Wind jutsu can trump Gravity.

also pein doesnt seem to have that wide a variety of jutsu. i cant help but think pein has a real body somewhere in hiding. but why?
he is suposed to be all powerful so why hide?
also konan seemed to call pein nagato so that makes me think nagato might MIGHT be the main body.
