Anyone feel like naruto is being super sloppy with his current battle with tobi and the edo-jin's, I mean he doesnt seem to be using his head at all. He has shown a number of times that he is capable of being very strategic and thinking ahead but he doesnt seem to be doing anything but getting smacked around.

Thats really no excuse imo, true they are very strong which should be a even bigger reason or him to actually think about the situation. He is also ALOT faster then hes been moving, and as its been proven by several ppl. even if you can see the attack via sharigan or rinnegan, doesnt mean your fast enough to counter, naruto is honestly too fast for them to counter even with shared vision so idk what he is doing

let´s see, up till now it was 7 (6, cause Tobi didn´t do anything) against 2, on top of that Naruto was tired from his released clone who was with Gaara and he is quickly losing chakra, in other words, he will very soon lose his KM, he isn´t like Shikamaru, meaning he can´t think during super hard fights like this

I am actually completely calm, Just stating hes being sloppy. Imo hes very first move shouldnt have been that headbut, He already knew tobi couldnt phase if he wanted so he should have gone straight past him and taken one of the edo's out before tobi realised what was happening, from the way it looked in the manga, tobi didnt have time to counter it because it was too fast which would mean that even if naruto didnt know they had rinnegan he could have restrained at least one right off the bat. just my opinion.
dude, that guy is only using a the ninetails chakra that he had pulled out at that moment in time. The nine-tails has more chakra now, its not like Naruto can just take more chakra from the nine tails if he wanted to - HE'S RUNNING OUT
thats not true, When he faught naguto, he was able to come up with comeback plan almost instantely after the previous one failed. Also he isnt tired, granted he slipt his chakra between the clones BUT... he has yet to actually fight all hes done thus far is run toward tobi so he should be at least as strong as hes clones were before they drained their chakra. And shikamaru never had the ability to think during a fight while its in progress, he has to stopped everything in order to think, the only exception would be if he was allowed to think. hes never been able to think while defending himself, ppl would distract them while he thought so
that may be true, but aside from that, hes not using his head which was what i was trying to point out, he can have all his chakra back and it wouldnt matter if hes not using his head. and bee is just going guns blazing, you would think that a man who could prevent minato from killing him would be smarter also.

Naruto never was the smartest person alive, you know... it's just him being his usual self, he's not a strategical genius like Shikamaru, Neji or Sasuke...

Ok, so I clearly see your point now. I understand why you'd ask that, up until now he had managed pretty well on his own with B but now he needs to be saved by others... which I actually think is a good turn of events, he was being to overpowered...
Anyways, back on topic, I think I'll agree with you... Naruto's not showing his capacity of strategy, technically he never had one but he proved he, when he tries, can think. Maybe he just didn't come up with a good strategy yet? Or he believes that he can just charge head-on and defeat them all?
or hes just feeling them out which i hope to be the case, and you are right he was kinda OP up til now. I just didnt like how he went from OP to like not even a challenge without a inbetween phase, like take out 2 of the 6 then start to have trouble. and i do like your idea that he may just be trying to charge in and see what happens, but if thats true why would he go straight for tobi, he knows he can phase, granted he didnt with the headbut, however naruto didnt know he would do that so why charge in when every other time you went right thru him lol. Idk
