Yeah. There could be a reason. Maybe he wants Sasuke and Sarada meet personally.
I dont buy that crap about not sensing Sarada because of deactivated SM.

I get the new gen is in the mix but now with Akatsuki, sharingan boy, Oro etc. The new gen don't have a ninja/fighting role to play.
