Nice theory, but I believe Obito could move freely as well, though timing and accuracy is needed for Naruto to successfully hit a blow.

No, just no. First where do you see Obito being engulfed by chakra arm ?

#1th I only see Obito with his hand extended which is engulfed in chakra which creates chain made of chakra.

#2th Where do you seen Obito's legs being intangible ?. Nowhere are shown Obito's legs intangible, because Kishi would focus on that detail and make clouse on this.

Sorry but I see only one picture, and there is nothing you are talking about ;/. Maybe picture doesn't show up to me strange

However stuff you mentioned with Killer Bee I can see it.

However again we don't see close on Obito's feets, not even on his legs so we can't know if his feet were covered by Hachibi's hand.

Besides as I said, not even entire feet Obito need to walk. Soles(bottom part of his feet) are alone enough to make him able to walk, so you ddin't prove anything.

Obito's feet are not showed covered completly by Hachibi's attack. I see that Hachibi's hand cover Obito's body from knees(maybe top part of feet) to his head, that it.

Show me scan where Obito's feet(closure on his feet) are covered by some attack and then Obito being able to move, I am waiting ...

I don't think that manga can provide your panel like that

If yes then only left middle picture shows us Obito moving, with chakra arm covering his body from knees to above. Besides even if Obito's feet would be covered by chakra arm in this picture then only top part of feet, but Obito only need his soles(you know how thin soles are in compare to rest of his body) tangible to move.

Why I don't agree:

#1th You don't have picture showing Obito's feet completly covered by attack only some part of his body while he is moving.

#2th It is just logical that he need at least his soles to be tangible to move, would be stupid, illogical and too farfetched if Obito could move with his feet not exisiting(being in other dimenssion) it would senseless

Obito was standing in 8 Tails hand, right in the center, then 8tails makes a fist with obito in the middle and obito just walks out while his ENTIRE body is intangible.

The image you edited with the chakra hand just proves my point, if he's moving, then how are his soles covered by the chakra, shouldn't be possible due to physics.

The image of KB/8tails making a fist with Obito inside the middle is concrete enough to say if his soles were solid they would be crushed as they would not be able to spawn or move at all as there is no space ANYWHERE for the feet to move, they would be stuck.

Look at the image again, see Obito's positioning, then where he exits, he travelled with his feet, while being intangible, so it's just simple, Obito can move while his entire body is intangible

One more thing, if you just keep on insisting with the soles nonsense, how would on earth can the soles move on their own? You biggest argument is based on common sense: that you need the soles in this dimension so he can move. However, soles are moving because of the muscles. So, if you argument says that you cannot move if the soles are in the other dimension, then I say that you cannot move if the muscles that actually make the soles move are in the other dimension. Walking is a very complex movement. So basically, you theory should expand. Entire areas of the legs of Obito should be tangible so he can move according to your theory. Go and read some anatomy first. It is clear that the parts of the body that go in the other dimension continue to work properly ( as shown when Kakashi attacks Obitos chest ) so legs should do the same. The link is kept. We dont see Obito teleporting a leg to a part of the dimension, the other leg to the other part, etc. The system is kept.

I was under the assumption that the Kamui world was more or less connected to the real world, which allowed Tobi to teleport to places because walking a few feet in that world was like walking several miles in this world.

My reasoning is because of how fast he caught up with Minato during the first Nine-Tail attack.

You are almost right, however I think that you overlooked small detail. When Hachibi makes fist with Obito in the middle, Hachibi'fist raise from ground a inch which could give possibility that Obito'feets were under Hachibi feet, so they could be tangible to move.
As you look excatly at this picture you can notice that Hachibi hand after making fist created shadow reflecting on ground indicating that Hachibi fist was raised a few inches from ground.

Ok, I got what you meant but can you tell how are so sure that his feet.soles were covered by chakra ?, I don't see chakra hand from bottom view, which could show if Obito's feet were covere by chakra or no, so sorry I will still wait for Kishi to confirm it or show exactly Obito's feet covered by attack while he is moving, until then I can't just say that you are right certainly right. However you made good points and explained well, if only you have proof I would give up with my theory.=D

Again you borught good point, however it is only right if you could prove that Hachibi's fist was laying on ground. Unfortunetly shadow of Hachibi's fist reflecting on ground prove that Hachibi'fist was raised even few inches from ground, which could give enough place for his feet to move, making my theory possible...

I just looked at this image again, saw Obito's positioning, however I don't see what are you talking about. I mean I understand your point of view back up with good points but without proof, IMO Obito was moving using space created between ground and raisen a little Hachibi's fist. Even If I wanted badly to see what you said then I can't because dust is floating around, make it impossible to say if Hachibi fist was touching ground or was raisen as I said.

Don't be mad. I see your point and great logic behind your words. I respect your opinion and knowledge about mechanism of movement working and I knew that already that you need muscles for feet to move and may as able to walking/runining etc.
You are right with Obito's part of body working properly in other dimenssion or elese he would die long time ago, but you only suppose that legs could work properly as well, and it is very likely. However I still can't see someone moving if his feets aren't in this dimenssion he is moving. I will expland my theory about what you just said =D

Hmm..., interesting point of view, about Kamui world to be connected to read world. However could mechanism in Kamui be same as in real world or even better could what is happening in Kamui world affect what is happeining in real world(Obito moving in his dimenssion, so he moves in real world as well), maybe but it would be stupid in my opinion and I don't see it working, but maybe it is just me.

Your reasoning is interesting catch, maybe I should try to look at it at different way =D
