Shikamaru and Temari are forced garbage just like the rest of them. They have absolutely no interaction or buildup in the Manga at all. They interacted like once in Part 1, during their fight in the Chunin Exams. Nothing 'romantic' -- And at the start of Part 2. This one showed them getting along, but nothing romantic.

Skip hundreds of pages later showing Shikamaru having Temari in his dream, and bam. That's it.

Like maybe five interactions at best.

Minato and Kushina are arguably the only one's with a real romantic story line from start to finish.

Well i did mean out of the kids. Overall yea it's Minato and Kushina. Everyone else have a forced pairing Shikamaru and Temari are the only one's close to decent.

I like how people even SB have to dumb down pts sasuke as this generic revenge seeming emo like his shippuden counterpart. Your first mistake was comparing sasuke of all people to other ninjas, when manga explicitly beats us readers across the head that sasuke mostly thought about himself not listen to teammates request especially during his revenge mode moments and secondly I'm glad you brought up "i thank you" because i find it interesting that he not only paused to listen to her useless statement but he even needed to explain why he was leaving, shared that he enjoyed his moments with team 7 and then thank her for it. Just one of his many mistakes tbh. I can MAYBE accept doing things like the NS hug, but in 2012, The Last was already underway, so there was NO need for things like the CPR and GF comment.
