The only ones who say Naruto and Hinata were forced are saltier than saltine crackers.

Naruto warming up to Hinata was admittedly poorly handled, but not forced. If Sakura had ended up with Naruto after literally spending the entire series obsessing over Sasuke—then THAT would have been forced.

But! Hinata spend the entire series obsessing over Naruto while he obsessed over Sakura. If you ask me everyone was forced

It's not that the garbage pairings are not forced which they are since that can be expected for shonnen series. It's that the Naruto fanbase seemingly cared more about the final pairings than anything else even though this is supposed to be a boys manga centered around action. I mean look at dbz where regardless of what you think about her Bulma contributes more to the plot than any of the Naruto females but is only like the 15th most popular character because she does not fight and the fans really only care about that. Neither Hinata or Sakura can fight but they still have enough fans somehow to fight about who they end up with. I know Kishi thought it was weird but SP just saw $ especially when it came to Naruhina's rabid fanbase.
