same reason madara is being shown as the beast he is to show people what the eyes are capable of. so when we see naruto and saskue it will be epic
why should that matter? he didn't take back what he said afterwards. he wasnt like "Oh nvm, itachi just had someones eye" he stuck with what he said.
besides, itachi already beat nagato. all he had to do was go susanoo and seal him. his sword/shield is OP. just stating facts. it is what has been said and what has been done in the manga. and the outcome is the same with naruto/bee out of the picture. since they were getting their butts handed to them by nagato.
To be honest, if Itachi has information on Nagato he can beat Chibaku tensei. Due to the fact that ability isn't instant and it takes time to charge. Itachi can just seal him right as hes using it right before the gravity pull gets strong enough to pull him from the ground. Not saying he can beat him but that ability leaves Nagato wide open for a few moments until it strengthens up.

yup itachi broke chibaku tensei by himself its not like he had the help of the two strongest jins or anything.:|

This is obvious... I'm not a fan of either... But i doubt anyone can take on nagato 1 on 1... Susanoo is useless against nagato... itachi would have a better chance without it... all that does is anchor him down making him pretty much a sitting duck for chibaku tensei. Also amaterasu can be pushed away with shinra tensei, its in the manga... as well as susanoo being pulled up by chibaku tensei... also narakas path king of hell summon which pretty much to protect his blind spots which he got around but only cuz he was already going up against 2 jinchลซriki.

dont matter he got caught in it sharingan breaks all genjutsu weather its by sight or anything else... rennigan is above sharingan so it should be able to break everything as well sence it dont i think its weak to genjutsu well nagato's that is.

ok the mere fact that your basing your argument off a statement made by a noob , makes you opinion invalid.
and itachi didn't beat nagato like a said, nagato was being controlled by a rinnegan novice.
these are all assumption for nagato has never been caught in a vision base sharingan gen-jutsu. therefore you cannot generalize and say nagato is weak against gen-jutsu, when vision and sound base function differently. plus nagato had gen-jutsu blocks against inoichi's mind reading tech, so who is to say he doesn't have them for vision base genjutsu.

i perfer nagato over itachi aswell but untill im sure he is not effected by itachi's genjutsu they r even.
