i did knew prior that manga (551) that nagato being the aggressor and the prime antagonist (at that point) was going to be defeated in favor of the plot, it was quite obvious. now kishi allowed not one but two of the strongest Jinchuriki's along with a genius uchia to battle nagato, now by doing so, is'nt it quite obvious that the writer is placing emphasis on the strength of nagato and basically implying itachi could not have gotten the job done by himself?, hence itachi would've told bee and naruto to step aside and leave it to him, as a reader why is this fact so hard to accept when the obvious is right in the manga.?

now many people assumed that itachi's Yasaka Magatama was strong enough to destroy chibaku tensei which it wasn't, that technique was probably the weakest among the 3 techs thrown at chibaku tensei, why? a biju is a massive blob of chakra, naruto and bee both possess two of the strongest biju's in narutoverse, they're techniques are fueled by both "base chakra" and the biju's chakra inside of them thus their jutsu's will inevitably and always pack alot more power than an average long range tech, itachi's yasaka magatama is no exception for the power of the tech is determined by the amount of chakra he placed in it.

now many people also assumed that itachi could' have simply used three magatama and destroy chibaku, base on what i've analyzed from the manga that would have most likely be a fail, why? simple, the three (or more) magatama would have to penetrate the chibaku tensei simultaneously (at exactly the same time), because one magatama after the other wouldn't pack enough power to break the sphere of chibaku tensei, the amount of energy in one magatama is lesser than that in a chibaku, itachi himself new this and quickly came to the realization that bee naruto and him would have to release their techs at the same time to destroy chibaku. so itachi would have to somehow make three clones of susanoo then attack at the same time.

therefore if bee and naruto was not present in that setting itachi would have mostly likely been buried inside a mini moon. thus nagato is indeed superior to itachi in strength and note nagato was also partially cripple and was still very overwhelming for arguably 3 of the strongest ninja's in the present manga.

thus full strength nagato vs full strength itachi = being itachi over killed

you are obviously a fanboy. it doesnt matter how much convincing or proof you receive, you will always want your character to be better than everyone elses.

Kabuto says in the manga that Itachi is truly on a greater level than any of his other edos.

he only said that because he "broke" edo tensei. what kabuto didnt know is that itachi got lucky that kotoamatsukami was cast on him. itachi even said that he hadnt accounted on it being used on him.

I think it could be a toss up on who wins. Ether one could win on a given day. It matters who pulls out the big guns first. If Itachi storms in with his Sasunoo he could win. If Nagato storms in with his Moon attack he could win.

Their match can play out in any given way

Your right bro

Itachi fans how do you expect Itachi to destroy Chibaku tensei when the 6 tailed Naruto kyuubi couldn't even do it. And if you say he still can are you trying to say Itachi has stronger physical attacks then a bijuu not to mention the strongest one (not counting 10 tails)

How could a mere doujutsu user without the body (Itachi) beat a mini Sage of 6 paths (Nagato) who has the power of the body and eyes.

kabuto controls the edos. so he can hear and see what happens. meaning he knows that itachi used the kotoamatsukami to get out of the edo. even though it was used a different way than intended. so kabuto knew that this occurred and after seeing that happen, he made that statement.

I've heard from private sources that this thread has been made before.
+rep. love that show and true that this thread is overly used and Kishi already made Itachi beat Nagato even if both of them are immortal things! LOL, even when Itachi did amaterasu at Nagato.

what are you talking about after itachi broke free he talked to naruto and bee on the tree and then itachi mentioned the crow that had shisuis eye and kabuto was surprised. this was right after itachi amaterasued nagato.

People who think Itachi would win are arguing with logic
Itachi= Doujutsu= mini older son of the sage

Nagato= doujutsu + body= juubiless SO6P basically AKA mini sage of 6 paths

so in essence Nagato > Itachi through logical thinking.

now there's a big misconception about nagato and gen-jutsu, when nagato fought jiraiya he was caught in a sound base and not vision base gen-jutsu, so how is nagato's defeat by tsukiyomi absolute when we have never seen how he copes with a vision base tech like tsuki. now sharingan was derived off rinnegan so a rinnegan user countering or having and defense mechanism for tsukiyomi isn't so abstract nor is it far-fetched.
