Also, carbon please provide a link to where it says Nagato was the strongest Akatsuki member. Last I remember, Tobi had Nagato on a leash since the formation of Akatsuki.

Same can be said about Nagato and his Rinnegan. Overusing large scale Shinra Tensei and Chibaku Tensei.

@arv993- So just out of curiosity would you consider Jiraiya, Utakata, Kakashi, Choji, Choza, Hinata, Shizune, and Naruto High to medium ranked ninjas? Because if im not mistaken Nagato's 6 paths beat all of the ninjas listed with the exception that he doesn't kill Naruto. Im not saying that you have to say Nagato is better than Itachi you should just not say that Itachi has an advantage based on assumptions. But I am hoping that we will get to see a battle between Itachi and Nagato in the next manga to put an end to the assumptions.

wait why are you talking about those ppl i never said they were weak and they are strong, and i never said that itachi is gonna 100% win, if you read some of my posts i say that nagato also has some good chances of winning, but however this is a debate and me saying that itachi has an advantage becos of being a genjutsu master and having sword of totsuka would give him a slight advantage during nagato's 5 sec interval, dude it would not even be a debate if you can't make certain infrences which are based on facts or powers both have shown us , there is no point in this thread otherwise. And yes i would like to see the fight between nagato and itachi too so that we can see all of their powers but my statement has some truth to it but we can never kno becos we might not kno what nagato has up his sleeve but if you don't want any assumptions not even inferences based on the powers we saw out of both them then don't come to any vs threads cos that is all they are about, i backed my statement b4(you can read my previous posts) and i don't kno why you are thinking i am just making pure assumptions.

So based off the recent chapter its safe to say Nagato is nearly unstoppable! he has all 6 paths of pain powers in one body, and that is to muvh for any ninja.

absorb all ninjutsu, summon crazy monsters, weapons/missiles, gravity, shinra/chibaku tensei, revive the dead, instant death if grabbed, gedo mazou, all elements, etc etc . plus his huge huge huge amount of chakra. i think he is literally the perfect ninja (out side madara with renningan ofc).

who can defeat him if he starts off with 6 paths of pain then you have to find and face nagato with all there powers in one body???

my list goes
0- SO6P, dont count him since he is like the god of naruto
1- Tobi with renningan; cant touch him, genjutsu, renningan abilitys, teleports, etc etc
2- Nagato, nuff said (or kabuto and him switch)
3-Kabuto- he is just getting started with these edo summons
4- 1st hokage,

when he had all the bodies he had better strategies, better taijutsu, and more eyes...

You assumed in many other of your posts that Itachi's Susanoo would be able to block Nagato's summons and other paths of pain and that Itachi could just use amatesaru on the Deva path. I may be wrong but we have never seen whether Susanoo can be absorbed by the Preta path or not. On narutopedia it states that Susanoo is just materialized chakra from the user. If this is true than Susanoo is formed through materializing the users chakra which is much like a tails cloak and should be able to be absorbed by the Preta path. This could be wrong but as of now i see no reason why Susanoo couldn't be absorbed.

how does amaterasu not hit deva path he is not as fast as naruto in kyubi mode or as fast as A. he has no speed feats it can easily hit him, and dude they are called inferences(guessing based on known facts and abilities). Dude everyone in NB makes arguments like that when you hav two ppl who never fought in a battle b4. Yes susano can be absorbed by preta path, i never said it couldn't but he has to be in close proximity, within that time genjutsu like tsukiyomi could work against him and also sword of totsuka can seal him. Dude if ppl are not that fast they can be hit by amaterasu, it is almost like an instant attack and what is wrong in thinking it would work against someone not that fast like deva path. And i never said preta path could not absorb susano it obviously can. And dude summons still have to attack to hurt someone and if something like kirin an instant extremely strong attack can be blocked why can't it block summons. Dude this is how you debate on narutobase go see other threads where sometimes ppl say things like gaara can easily beat sasuke with ems. No one would give you a 100% right answer maybe next week nagato would show us other techs we haven't seen and might crush Itachi's susano or his genjutsu, we would hav to wait.
