My only question is if he really is going to die, then why even bother transferring chakra? It makes no sense to temporarily halt someone's death like that, especially in this situation. It's not like Guy can really help fight Madara anymore.
As I mentioned in my own thread, I think Guy is going to survive and Kishi's sending the message that Naruto has become a God-like figure who can change the rules of the world. After all the talk about going to the 8th gate will mean sure death, Naruto has basically changed the rules because he's become powerful enough to that point.
I don't have a problem with Guy's surviving in the character's sense. It's not like I want guy to die, I like a Guy a lot, I think he's a great character who brings a lot to the table and makes everything more colorful. However, Guy should die here from this from a plot perspective. It's an asspull plain and simple. You can't just go changing the rules like that because he could. This is an asspull to its very core. It makes no sense for Naruto to prolong his inevitable death like this. And if Naruto's really going to save Guy's life at the price of his life as a shinobi, that just takes a giant dump on everything both Lee and went through with this surgery and the risk of dying to continue his life as a shinobi over giving up his life as a shinobi.
This move just makes no sense to me at all. The only explanation I have is Kishi is too incompetent of a writer to figure out a way to show how powerful Naruto has become without its being an asspull like this. You let Guy survive without any repercussions, it's a pure asspull, you let Guy survive at the cost of losing his life as a Shinobi, it makes everything he and Lee went through totally meaningless, and if it's just to prolong his death, then why even bother? I just can't see any reasons why this move was done. Of course we'll find out soon enough, but it seems like every possible outcome behind this has shown to be a bad move for one reason or another.
All I can say is thank God this series is almost over. And by God, I don't mean Naruto.
