Ahh I see. Sorry about the timeframe, I just pictured it wrong. By deflect the shuriken, I meant hit them with my Kunai at melee range. Otherwise I understand.
OOC: Hmm, I think that would be an issue as well. As you can imagine, the shuriken are circling towards you, aiming to reach your flank (Behind you, near your rib-cage areas) so it wouldn't be wise to tend to those projectiles first, before dealing with the straight forward kunai which would take less time to reach you. Not only that but you'd have to turn your body around in order to reach the flanking shuriken if you wanted to deflect it at meele range. Which I assume you mean, you are doing it while holding the kunai in your hand?Ahh I see. Sorry about the timeframe, I just pictured it wrong. By deflect the shuriken, I meant hit them with my Kunai at melee range. Otherwise I understand.
Okay.
Konan, viewing the oncoming projectiles quickly draws two kunai. Konan then throws her kunai at the incoming kunai, intercepting both. The explosive tagged one would then explode, knocking the right/left most shuriken off of target due to shockwave. Konan then points her palm outwards towards the incoming shuriken, and focuses on the moisture in the air around her hand, pulling it into a shield, about the size of her body, held at chest level. She then turns to the side to block the remaining shuriken with the shield, and releases it, causing a puddle on the ground.
OOC: Explosion tags don't have such potency in our roleplay, at least not from a single tag. Thats why I suggested that if you wanted to knock one out, it would have to be one, but not both because they are really far apart from each other. Meaning, the exploding kunai would have to be deflected closer to one of the shuriken. Which, it almost looks like you did? Because you used the water to defend against the other. Anywho, you still haven't told me the hands you are using!!!! xDAlrighty. To elaborate on the explosive tag shockwave, have you seen the size of that shockwave?! In the anime and manga, the reaction even from the major late series characters to a tag is. "OH SHITTTTTT!" and they dodge it, and still manage to be blown back. The shockwave of an explosion is different from the boom that you see. When something explodes, it releases a supersonic current of air in all directions. That is the shockwave. Also, I only refer to one shuriken towards the end, not both. Sorry if my description was confusing.
OOC: Creating a larger explosion? Would you have also released a kunai with an explosive tag? If not, a bigger explosion can not be created. And if so, that was a good idea. (Please be sure to answer this bit as I am very curious.)I would blow away the rightmost shuriken, (to do this I would throw a tagged kunai to intercept yours creating a larger explosion.). And then create the shield on my left hand
OOC: The water technique you've learned!^( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.
(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.
OOC: Hmm really? I didn't see the description, not clearly anyways. The mentioning of the explosive tag on your own kunai is best to be stated when you reach for said kunai, so the person is ware that it has one. And yes, you're correct about my preference to the mist!Yes I did just say that i would throw a "tagged" kunai at the other tagged kunai to increase explosion size. Im guessing the favorite tech of yours is hiding in the mist? Yeah it's the best technique in the series. "I have a sharingan!" "I have clouds".
Konan, again focusing on the water in the air around her, forms a handle shape in her right hand. She then, using her own water chakra, pushes her chakra through the handle out the front end, forming a blade. She then defines the blade, giving it a point and edge, allowing it to cut. Quickly smashing it against a tree, watching it make a large cut, she realizes its effectiveness.
I guess a disadvantage would be that it requires constant focus and chakra output to maintain.
The Hidden Mist jutsu is Kirigakure's signature technique, the foundation to all assassinations. This technique can be performed through two ways; either by manipulating a pre-existing source of water like a river, lake, ocean or something similar. Lingering water from a large water technique, or released from your mouth. The drawbacks from drawing it from a technique is that it's dependent on the volume of water, meaning you'd need quite a lot of water scattered. Common sense should be used as you can not expect a golf sized orb of water to be enough to create a battle-field based mist. Please perform it, and break this technique down for me, I want you to describe everything you can think of about it.(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
OOC: In order to perform the technique you'd have to separate the molecules not condense them together. A liquid is formed when the molecules are condensed, and a gaseous state is achieved when they are spread further apart. I don't think the basic water application being used a few times would be enough to cover the entire field. And its also vague to specify a few times, it would have been best to release it from your mouth. Please go back and read my post so that you may include facts and tear apart the technique in it's capabilities. I want to see your thoughts on the technique overall, taking your time to walk through it, and describe everything you can. Try to go as much in depth as you can, mentioning whatever you can.By preforming Suiton no Jutsu a few times, Konan creates a small watersource. Then, to create a mist, Konan forces a sizable amount of chakra into the source. Then, by condensing, and thickening the water particles, she raises them and molds them with the air. Then, by molding both sources together, the battlefield becomes enveloped in a thick, cloudy, mist.
Basically to preform it, one must mold particles of water into the air, and manipulate them on a cellular level, infusing the air with the water, creating a chakra mist.
OOC: "My science doesnt science." I didn't understand that part. As for your description, I have to point out that, that's not how its created. You don't manipulate the air or anything of the sort and the molecules aren't thickened. You release a stream of mist already in it's finished form from your mouth and have it spread outwards. The drawback is that you release it from your mouth, so you'd have to keep it active until it fully spreads throughout the terrain. As for my previous question, you didn't answer it regarding the break down of the technique. Not necessarily how it's created, but more of it's benefits in battle, abilities, advantages, disadvantages, etcetera.Ahhhh I understand. My science doesnt science.
Konan continuously pours water chakra into her mouth, and seperates it constantly to create a thin mist. Then, she exhales. Then, to create a mist, Konan forces a sizable amount of chakra into the source. Then, by seperating, and thickening the water particles, she raises them and molds them with the air. Then, by molding both sources together, the battlefield becomes enveloped in a thick, cloudy, mist.
Basically to preform it, one must mold particles of water into the air, and manipulate them on a cellular level, infusing the air with the water, creating a thicker, and effective, chakra mist.
Nice and simple. Just remember that if you plan on activating this technique without using a source of water that you have ample time to release the mist from your mouth. The reason being is because it wouldn't be instant and the foe would have the chance to counter or attack after you begin releasing and dispersing the mist. So try and avoid releasing it from the mouth unless you know it will succeed. Not only that but nine times out of ten, they will try to blow it away so set yourself up for a counter to wind style ninjutsu. Regarding the points you pointed about chakra sensing and such, you are correct. You'd also suffer the effects of the mist so it would be very hard to pin-point your target and even attacks. When inside a mist, you have to rely in your other senses, like the sound of gushing water, or the shaking/crumbling of the ground beneath you, or the roaring flames/light produced by fire release, etc. As we continue with training, you will be learning a technique that will allow you to sense chakra within the mist.Ahh ok. So I'd just release a mist flat out from my mouth. Got it. The my science doesn't science bit was a joke about how mist is created. As for advantages and disadvantages:
Benefits:Your opponent loses complete sight of you, giving you the element of surprise and stealth.
Abilities:Clouds the battlefield, making it impossible to discern your enemy's location.
Disadvantages:You, unless trained in Sensory or have Byakugan or maybe have a strong nose, cannot sense your opponent.
OOC: Please make your post as if it were an official battle. If it was, you would have more than likely lost for not including the jutsu tags. And please, if laziness takes over then don't reply just to get one in. I prefer that you wait and make the best of it.Konan, standing 10 meters from her opponent, draws 4 shuriken, 2 in each hand, and throws them in a curved pattern (similar to what you did earlier except with 2 shuriken on each side instead of 1.) in such a way that they will curve into the sides of her opponent. Then, Konan uses her chakra to form her chakra infused paper into 20 tiny birds, which she then releases from her sleeve to fly into her opponents face and distract and obstruct his view. Then, using a nearby source of water, Konan manipulates the water into a sword in her hand, with an edge allowing it to cut things. Konan then jumps above her opponent, whose vision is covered by the birds, and lands quietly behind her opponent, who she then stabs in the back with her sword, between the shoulder blades.
Jutsu Used:
Paper folding technique and Water style sword of draining.
You being a senpai probably know both of them (sorry about the laziness i'm just tired and its 1 am.)
