[Romance] My First and Last Poem

This poem starts off with a rather common intro, but I thought I would just post it... Since I'm trying to break the notion of me being afraid to fail at something and in front of people. This poem means a lot to me and I made it on the spot when I thought about someone that I love and I had to write it down. This will be my first and last post in this section. So yeah. Here it is.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
There are no words to express
How much I love you.
This simple poem is just a simple way
Of telling you forever, that I'll stay.
No matter how far I am,
Or how distant I may seem
I'll always be with you in your heart and dear dreams.
An angel you are, so fragile so proper.
Always we're together. And together we'll prosper.

Well for your first try it is not bad, I can understand the metaphors and the basic connection you put. Even though I like it to be a little more complex. Still for first try this is pretty good. Nice work, keep them coming.
