He was an incomplete Sage. Naruto can sense cause he's perfect. Kabuto can sense despite having dragon features Hashirama can also sense.

Its been proven through out the manga every perfect Sage user can sense.Frog sage mode requires the user to be perfect while dragon sage seems to not follow that rule.

The only reason he couldn't sense Nagato is because of the rod, once he stabbed himself he could feel Nagato's chakra directly, and was able to sense it.

1. Completely irrelevant as the target is Deidara, not the small birds he fires.

2. Mokujin would effortlessly tank C1 explosions, so I don't know why you are even mentioning them here.

I don't know what's funnier, you believe Team 1 wins, or you believing C1 is a factor here.

The only reason he couldn't sense Nagato is because of the rod, once he stabbed himself he could feel Nagato's chakra directly, and was able to sense it.

that never said anthing about his chakra being erased/hidden at anytime. Of course the rod would give his location, it was the direct connection to his chakra channel. This does not explain why he couldnt sense him without it, he didnt have have an idea of his whereabouts.

The only problem they had sensing wise, was finding Nagato not sensing him altogether. You are going to need scans that backup your assertion of Naruto being unable to sense Nagato.

If they couldn't sense him then they wouldn't know he was changing his rod's frequency.

Even if team 1 miraculously pushed Hashirama to use ShinSuusenju, Deidara would have to kill himself and use C0 to even effect it.

Then you'd still have a somewhat operational Buddha with a player down on team 1's side, and Gaara and Muu.. no way to win.

But Hashirama wouldn't be pushed that far, with these conditions.
