MS Sasuke was stronger than Nagato

MS Sasuke is above Pain Arc Naruto and would've beat Pain under the same conditions of the fight, probably before Deva regained his powers.

Unrestricted Pain wrecks both tho.

Sure you can argue that he's stronger than Pain Arc Naruto, but is he as strong as the nine tails? Because really, that's what Pain lost to.

That's not what I'm saying. For example, tsukuyomi won't work on madara because he has ms and is uchiha. But Nagato doesn't have ms at all. He doesn't get the benefits specifically squired by ms just for having rinnegan. He doesn't have precognition nor does he have visual genjutsu capabilities. So it wouldn't be logical to assume nagato somehow retained the genjutsu resistance it grants.

Obito controlled the mizukage for years with genjutsu yet he chose to manipulate nagato with lies even though genjutsu would have been much easier. Databook says rinnegan is immune to visual genjutsu and it's a step up from ems. It's illogical to assume he doesn't have the resistance to genjutsu considering that sasuke and itachi were also effected by sage powered sound genjutsu.

Him being uchiha has nothing to do with it. His eyes are superior therfore he won't fall subject to it.

Is there any proof rinnegan is immune to visual genjutsu? And no, shinra tensei has never broken a genjutsu or even had that implied.

The CANON fourth Databook directly states that the Rinnegan is immune to ALL visual Genjutsu, and states that Nagato is immune to visual Genjutsu also.
'- Has "God's eyes" (Rinnegan), which makes him invincible to "chakra", can tackle most fighting styles, and is also immune to "all eye illusion" (visual genjutsu).'

So no.


To the rest, Sasuke isn't even close to Nagato's level, let alone a non weakened Pain.

SM Naruto LOST to a Pain when he was in a WEAKENED state and had to be saved by Kurama.....

How in the f*** can Sasuke do anything when he's actually WEAKER than both SM Naruto and KN6 Kurama? Both of which lost to Pain.

Read the manga man, a Naruto and Sasuke read each other's minds and knew they other was getting a new power plus Naruto is shown talking about Indra chakra in Sasuke when he said that; its when he's talking to Hagoromo. At the time Naruto said he couldn't beat Sasuke, Sasuke already had EMS so Naruto was talking about that. Both Naruto and Sasuke analyzing each other's new power without being surprised

Sasuke doesn't surpass Nagato until he got Rinnegan himself (he never trained with EMS so he never mastered it in the war arc. It was after the war arc that he mastered both doujutsus).

Kyuubi only helped break Nardo out of CT. Deva Path could not use his powers for a portion of the match because of CST, so Sasuke could potentially take it out with Amaterasu which spawns on the target or Susanoo arrows. The hardest part would be taking down Preta Path.
