No that is just he effect KA has
KA is a Genjutsu that can be cast without eye contact or when concealed
The victim has no idea they are being controlled which is WHY shisui was going o use it on Fugaku to stop the Coup De Tat... Fugaku had 3T Sharingan and most likely was proficient in GEnjutsu so why would Shisui use a DETECTABLE GEnjutu on him?
The victim doesn't realize hey are being conrollled and KA can't be broken
1st part is right. KA doesn't require eye contact. All is needed is for the user to be aware of the victim as shown with Danzo.
2nd part is true as well. Mifune didn't realize he was being controlled. Fugaku wouldn't have realized it either since he would think he is making those decisions himself.
3rd part is what I don't agree with. If Ao wouldn't have told Mifune then Danzo would've successfully made Mifune choose him as the leader of the shinobi forces. Once Mifune found out he was under KA's influence, he was no longer under its control. You see, KA involves the fact that the victim makes decisions he believes are his own.
This kind of ability works while the victim is unaware of it. If the victim were to be warry of such ability, then it would be easier to detect any sudden changes in his mind. For example, Trying to force suicidal thoughts during combat is something that will have the victim thinking that KA was used on him which would render KA ineffective. It's strength lies when it is used without the victim realizing that such an ability is being used on them. Since KA isn't manually controlling them.
iThat's how I see it atleast. Do you agree? If not, how do you explain the ability?
