LMFAO no, your problem is that you don’t want to accept that Kakashi was speaking about the present party. That is evident by the sequential comments (excluding mine because you ignored mine initially lol):


So try to imagine that if Sasuke’d been there, Kakashi’s words would’ve been directed to the others and he would’ve explained the MS bit for Sasuke. Outside of that scenario the knowledge doesn’t help.

If Kakashi simply meant the partner method doesn't work, he could say this: "If it catches you, It has you instantly, so the partner method doesn't work", but he didn't state that, he made a sweeping statement about how it doesn't matter whether you can defeat genjutsu, due to time dilation.

Itachi lied to Kakashi initially about Tsukuyomi being able to be beaten by a 3 tomoe.

The entire subject at that point was the 2 on 1 being brought up by chiyo to counter genjutsu so kakashi didn't need to mention it again. If what you are saying is true then he would have said "Not even the sharingan can defeat his genjutsu" or something along those lines

Wasn't this statement about sharingan (NOT MS), its pretty clear a normal sharingan will fail to break out of tsukoyomi but MS will.

Itachi praised Kakashi for his analysis of Tsukuyomi when Kakashi implied that Tsukuyomi couldn't be broken.

There are reasons to suggest he didn't break it imo.

Itachi is also fast. If he put's him in a Genjutsu, he immediately seal's him in the Totsuka Jar. Susanoo is chakra it sealed Edo Tensei's Unlimited Chakra in Nagato.

Not only has that happened before (people giving extra information), but this isn't "extra" information. What Kakashi said let's them know exactly what their up against, of course it helps the situation.
