Coming from:
Here. This Post marks the beginning of my Mission;
- Meet with a major faction representative
- Facilitate a major peace agreement
The ship finally arrives at a Port in the Motoi Drylands, greeted by three shinobi with a White and Red fan symbol presented upon their clothing. Lena knew this symbol from the bit of research she had done, the Uchiha Clan. These are the people Sado talked about, the compound that held dominion over this landmark. She guessed they had business with the Captain of the ship and his wares.
She continued to help unload the wares onto the port as the Captain spoke to the Members of the Uchiha Clan. It took a few moments but he came over to Lena and spoke to her.
"Miss, if you wouldn't mind further helping me. You do not owe me anymore, but I feel like I can trust you. You're a very good Sailor, you'd do well on my ship."
"I'm guessing those Uchiha are being a little troublesome."
"A little, their payment is back at their compound. I would like you to come with me to it, I'm just a little wary that they may not be the most honourable."
"They're fine, just paranoid - but I'll come."
The Captain nodded and they both headed over to the Wagon that was loaded. Lena got in with the wares and the two of the wagons head off, one with the wares the other with the Uchiha. It took about an hour to get to the compound, and their journey was easy. Reaching relatively quickly the place wasn't that impressive. It was simple, almost run down. Lena got off the wagon and unloaded it as the Captain spoke to a new face, a woman.
Is the woman Sado mentioned? She had an aura about her, she didn't want to assume right now though. The woman then glanced at her, Lena locked eyes with the Uchiha before going back to unloading the cargo. After she was done, Nakano approached her.
"You have an interesting... appearance. I'm going to make a potentially rude guess and say you're not with these sailors usually. What's your name?"
"...No, I'm not... I go by Lena. Are you Nakano Uchiha?"
She looked shocked for a moment, taken off guard by this information that Lena had. She was quite wary now however, a bit of paranoia Lena had probably triggered.
"I am."
More blunt this time, Lena smirked,
"Sado told me about you, I'm here to make a offer that I hope you'll be happy with."
Nakano took a moment to think,
"We should talk more privately, come with me..."
Lena followed the Uchiha to one of the Compound's building leaving the sailors and other Uchiha behind. She took her inside, the room matched the outside, run down and old, uneventful - and like no one had really lived here. There were multiple tables and chairs, it looked like what once was a barracks, she guessed the doorway led to bedrooms. Nakano sat down on a chair, leg over the other as she leaned one elbow on the table to her side. Lena approached the table and sat on it.
"Who are you?" Nakano got straight to the point, she looked serious - not the type to really joke around much.
"I'm someone who wants answers, but also wants to bring a people together. You've held dominion over the Motoi Drylands for a while, just about getting by. You're Uchiha, you're supposed to be a great clan - yet you're all split apart and alone. I want to bring you into my fold."
"Your fold? Heh. Go on."
"Sado and I have worked together a bit, I come from Shinramoto and he has seen my people. The people I want to protect, and he wants to as well, they are fishermen and offered a safe place here in the Motoi Drylands so that they are better protected under Tsumigakure, that they're not left out in the open."
"He did, did he?" Nakano shifted on the chair and looked up at Lena,
"Well if Sado says you're good people, then I am fine with being your neighbour."
"But you can be more than just our Neighbour. I've been given something, a special artefact that can make something of this place and the whole area. You lot can actually be apart of something, help these people, befriend them, protect them. From what it looks like to me you need a bit of a refurbishment."
"It's true that our compound isn't the prettiest of sights, but it's a good cover. We like our secrecy and we work well from the shadows."
"You can still do that. But under the guise of a fishing city. You'll have access to resources rather than getting them from across the Aisu Bay. You also get to be a little less bored."
Nakano shook her head,
"It's our duty."
"C'mon! Just work with us and being bored won't have to be your duty. You'll get your own department, an Uchiha division?"
Nakano's lips curled into a smirk, an idea that she seemed to find amusing. Though she quickly stewed in thought and let out a sigh,
"Okay so this is your offer, what are you questions that you desire answers for?"
Lena frowned for a moment, she didn't know best to ask. IT was a hard topic for her, something she had been trying to run towards with no avail until now. That is if they even had the answers.
"I don't know. Who I am." Lena's eyes changed, from green to a crimson red donned three tomoe that spun into view - gazing directly down at Nakano who had out off instinct activated hers.
"You're...Uchiha??"
