yeah he did but we don't know what and unless you have a link where they specificly state minato used Wind or something we don't know what his elemental rasengan was going to be either.

i think pretty much everything would be with rasengan (dunno how earth would work though XD)
but i just pointed out he had an element because som1 said he didnt have one, and it is a fact that appeared in the manga that he had at least one
and i think, i repeat THINK he had wind and water

minato died sealing nine tails not sealing madara and he was more or less kicking madaras ass..and ya people can say madara was weak then, madara had throat infection etc...but fact is minato had advantage...
madara is biggest badass in manga now..winning against him means hes good..i voted for first
but still i believe minato is better than any of the other hokages even the 3rd

I shall say ... Minato, his techniques dont stand out in an obvious and big scale way but they are extremely powerful and practical

4th hokage ofcourse....also danzo isn't actually cosidered the hokage, he is just a sub. he didn't get the jonin vote....

I`d say the 4th, he was able to keep up with madara, killed hunderds if not thousands of iwagakure ninja in the 3th shinobi world war.

The third Hokage was NICE!!!!! Gotta give props....oh yeah...and he kicked the first two Hokage's asses while they were assisting Orochimaru. Sarutobi for the win...then the second Hokage after...MUAHAHAH!

@Minato: Pardon my ignorance.....but could you tell which technique Sarutobi used in that battle that was exclusively Minato's. I'm not being sarcastic I just can't remember which one it was...

It was the Dead Demon Consuming Seal which seals a person's soul in the belly of the Death God
It's actually not an easy one...
The First has Mokuton, is able to defeat Time/Space users (Madara, obviously) and can take Tailed Beasts under his control.
The Second was a genius in Suiton, no doubt possible. He was able to use Time/Space jutsus (though I think it's still unclear which ones) and he invented Edo Tensei (I think this is the name, I forgot tbh).
The Third was okay-ish, but doesn't have any special skills bar The Dead Demon Seal. Then again, he was good enough to battle First + Second, and he wasn't in his prime time if we're being honest.
The Fourth, Space/Time user, Rasengan inventor, Master in Fuuin. And he was a tactical mastermind, considering how he figured out Madara after such a short amount of time fighting him.
The Fifth.... Wel to be honest, just no.
My vote would go to the First, considering his abilities and the fact that he can defeat Time/Space users, without having that skill to himself, and he can hold up against a MS, considering he fought Madara while he had the MS.

Is there an proof that Madara had that ability (the space/time jutsu and the phasing ability) back then when he fought The First? I mean i know we all assume that if he has it how he must have had it back then as well, but is there any actual proof?
