Last two chapters made some interesting points.
-First up, its been confirmed that the juubi is pure natural energy, and that only natural energy attacks can affect it. Sasukes ametarasu , which is a doujutsu kkg straight from the elder sons lineage, was absorbed by it. A simple senjutsu rasengan, on the other hand was not.
Now keep in mind the explanation given above, a small natural energy attack= a small part of what the juubi is composed of, its essence and this affects it. But ametarasu doesnt, meaning it isnt made out of the juubis essence.:O Meaning the elder sons(uchihas) doujutsu are not connected to the juubi.
- We saw both jiraiya and narutos senjutsu attacks absorbed by the preta path of nagatos rinnegan, while the juubi jinchuriki is unable to do so. Clearly decreasing the probability that the juubi is connected to the rinnegan as well.
-Obito has been juubi jinchuriki for 5-6 chapters now, yet his eyes have remained unchanged. To those that say incomplete juubi, Na + Cl = NaCl whether its a gram or a ton.
-Mythologies: ametarasu is the shinto goddess of the sun, formed when izanagi returned from the yomi underworld where he went to see his dead wife izanami btw. Anyway, when he washed his left eye the goddess ametarasu was formed. What im getting at with this is that all uchiha techs are the names of shinto gods who succeeded each other, their origin isnt rooted in a juubi like being.
