From scratch? Then tell me about K'Tai. I can't just start posting techniques before we get the formalities out of the way ;)
But seriously, we've got 'normal' Goken Tai that costs chakra, so what makes K'Tai different? Some of it doesn't even cost chakra, so why is it "its own thing"?

To me ktai differs from regular tai due to the many combination type attacks and the elemental infusions. Things that can be used back to back to each other and work in sync almost; Chaining together more fluent attacks and maneuvers. Idk how the chakra-less portion differs from regular non chakra based tai. Care to fill me in?

Well, usually there's still some kind of elemental affiliation, even if it's more philosophical than literal. Still, I get what you're saying. I guess I'd say that most of our 'normal' Tai is Goken-based, whereas K-Tai is more broad.
But yeah, It's normal Tai plus some goodies. Let's go two techs at a time; I'll post them, and you'll comment/question as you please. There are no stupid questions... yet.
First a couple of chakra-cost-less techs

( Toppyoushimonai Okane ) - Crazy Monkey
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: Crazy monkey is a form of Chinese martial arts. It is an aerial attack where the user jumps to head height and double kicks the target in the chest with enough strength to break bones, reminiscent of a monkey.

( Akurobachikku Sanjuu Rakka Ashige ) - Acrobatic Triple Drop Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps into the air and performs a front flip, kicking the target three times during the maneuver. Each successive kick is lower than its predecessor, but equally powerful.

No real question on the first one since it is straight forward but for the sake of it, do we have to aim at the chest or can we aim anywhere at the torso?

Second one seems cool. I imagine it as kinda like s bicycle kick once the flip is finishing. So I'd start the kick at head height, then another at the chest and another at the mid/lower abdominal. Would that be correct?

Man, if you want to kick them in the head or groin you should feel free, even if the technique says torso.
For the second one, yeah, that's pretty much what's imagined, though you can start at the torso and end at the knee, so long as your kicks hit successively lower places than before.

Next two, again, simple chakra-cost-less techniques:

( Kyuuki Ashige ) - Crane Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user positions themselves in the crane stance, lifting one knee to its maximum height while holding both arms parallel to the ground. In this stance the user is able to deliver powerful kicks with their raised leg.

( Marui Sumai Ashige ) - Round House Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user pivots on one foot and swings their leg, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick to the target. The power of the kick is enough to send most opponents flying.

Oh, and don't be afraid to kick me over the head with some reminders, or let's find an evening to churn out some replies. You'll probably want to finish this K'Tai stuff before Kanye's victory in 2020.

Both are pretty straight forward. Just different variants of kicks, one being a roundhouse while the other is a crane kick. The crane kick is cool since it's worded in a way that gives you alot of room to do different kicks as long as we're in a crane stance.

My bad for the late reply

Same to you.
Yeah, the Crane Kick tech is pretty open. With some Ninjutsu to boot it can pack a real, uh, punch? Anyway, the next two are in the same category as these two; chakra-cost-less and simple. You know the drill:

( Tora Tsume Hiza Sumasshu ) - Tiger Claw Knee Smash
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user pounces on the target, forming tiger claws with their hands and clasping them by the neck or shoulder region. Using great strength the user then pulls the target towards them while simultaneously delivering a devastating knee strike.

( Hiji Ken Hiza Konbo ) - Elbow and Knee Combo
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps towards the target, raising both arms up while baring their elbows down towards the opponent’s head. At the same time they bring their knees up towards the target’s jaw, resulting in a pincer-like strike.

First is a tiger claw style of fighting. This allows you to grab the opponents by the neck/shoulder areas with a nearly unbreakable hold before bringing them towards you with heavy strength in order to knee the hell out of them.

This next one looked funny to me in my head. Lol basically jump up and kinda like defensive crane I'd crush a limb (the head) between my knees and elbows.

Well, nearly unbreakable is a strong term, but sure. Maybe you have a really strong grip?
Yeah, it's a bit flashy and, well, excessive. You'd be in the air and use four limbs for what you could've done with one. Very situational.

The next two:
( Tetsu Kashira ) - Iron Head
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will concentrate earth chakra into a layer around their head, which enhances their durability and gives them an iron-like head, then they head-butt their target causing major damage. This technique is, alternatively, capable of breaking though C-rank earth techniques.

( Fuujinken ) - Wind God Fist
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user focuses wind chakra into their feet and then, crouching and dashing at the target with great speed, the user coats their arm in wind chakra. Utilizing this to enhance their attack the user then thrusts upwards into the stomach of the target, releasing the accumulated wind to send them flying upwards several feet.

The first's a fancy headbutt and the seonc'd a fancy punch. Take 'great speed' in the second with a grain of salt. It's just your normal speed, basically. Any questions?
