No it doesn't prove "everything" because IT HAS NO EVIDENCE. Who is Kakashi referring to by "they"? How did the Uchiha emerge from the Hyuga when it is a known fact that the Senju and the Uchiha and Hyuga emerged at around the same time?

they said the sharingan was a hyuga descendant to the uchiha because at the time people believed the so6p was a myth, no one really knew the truth....also they didnt say it is certain the sharingan came from the hyuga, kakashi said it is believed to be from the hyuga, which was just a myth.

The sharingan wasn't given to them by the so6p. It is a mutation of the rinnegan.

So it probably went rinnegan ----> byakugan ----> Sharingan
