Exactly! It has to be related to will. Here's what I think. Naruto knows that they're equal, and if they fought, they'd both die. However, the effects of Sasuke's hatred would produce more hatred and despair in the world, and Naruto wouldn't be able to stop it since he'd be dead. This would be Sasuke's victory. Naruto needs the 9 tails in order to get a clear victory so that he change what Sasuke is and stop the curse of hatred.Well maybe he found sasuke to be more determined but its all moot point cuz later he admitted to need kurama to fight sasuke. But it does make sense anyway
Or you're just ignoring context. "You can't beat Sasuke just by being strong." That, with the rest of the dialog, indicates that strength isn't the issue. It's not more "eloquent," it changes the whole meaning! If you let your bias make you not see the difference in context, there's no hope for you.Naruto was never a better ninja than Sasuke, and this chapter basically proved that the difference between their analytical prowess is still quite vast. I doubt Minato wanted to create a comparison, BUT, the author (very much) did so by making Minato praise another person and ignoring Naruto's skills or intelligence. This is a simple indirect comparison method used by many writers. Nothing to pitch a fit over @ Narutofans.
Funny, because there is ZERO difference between the meaning of both statements. One is simply put more eloquently and ends with the same dichotomy "Now I Know". If you cannot comprehend this basic analogy method, then too bad. it's clear as day.
No. thats fanfiction wishful speculation here. I can explain any sort of crap with speculations.Exactly! It has to be related to will. Here's what I think. People who tend to be more analytic and being worried are the ones who fear death or that they might die, worried never meant you cannot analyse and also lets see how they brake free from ObitoWell maybe he found sasuke to be more determined but its all moot point cuz later he admitted to need kurama to fight sasuke. I am not, actually. It's just you and the rest of misguided fans reading one part of the statement and ignoring the last words where it ends. Naruto's awareness comes at the fact that Naruto needs more than strength to beat Sasuke. Which means he needs more dimensions to his power to beat him. Not only that, this is just a part of the entire series of dialogues. So what's the difference?Or you're just ignoring context. "You can't beat Sasuke just by being strong." That, with the rest of the dialog, indicates that strength isn't the issue. It's not more "eloquent," it changes the whole meaning! Naruto said that he needs to kurama to even fight sasuke not win. And being more determined helps to win, dont throw hatred, revenge peace etc crap into it. Naruto admitted to be weaker thats all.
What facts, you haven't presented any.You seriously need to take some breath, honestly I don't remember when was the last time I didn't see your butthurt presence in my threads, just move on for once or spread your hate else where, really. Lol
Learn to get the facts straight.
LOL what? As an analytic person i find death inevitable thus its no point in fearing it. Some idiot stated this and i hope its not you.People who tend to be more analytic and being worried are the ones who fear death or that they might die, worried never meant you cannot analyse and also lets see how they brake free from Obito
Im sorry but this naruto's statement isnt a proof of anything, on the contrary sasuke said he wouldnt die and just kill naruto which naruto later confirmed.Naruto made no mention of Kurama at that time. I can only assume that he stated he needed Kurama later is because he knew Sasuke would get stronger.
Nah I am not frustrated or butthurt, its actually these threads that help deal with my boredom, I enjoy wrecking Uchiha fanboy threads.I don't think he's buthurt. I think he's frustrated that such an strech and illogical conclusion could be made with little and indirect evidence.

Right, and if you somehow are under the delusion that Japanese can be translated 100% into English with one-liners then there is no hope for you. In fact, screw codability, Japanese is an infinitely complex Language compared to English. The word Ninja alone, that has a single lined meaning in English has multiple dimensions in Japanese. Nin part alone has - pronounced as Shinobi - several complex layers.
I laughed at your comprehension sermon, by the way. You obviously have no idea about comprehension and language to language transnational complications.

Why stop there? Fill the whole page up with your simile abuse. They sure back you up a LOT man. First you pass it off as an utmost, holey fact but now you are simply theorizing it? I am the pitiful one, indeed. "I know when the time is right" is another factor that can be aligned with "Now I know". On one hand he talks about strength that is more than just the 'term' itself, and then he presents a contradiction on the next panel with the statement 'when the time is right'. Clearly indicating that he isn't ready. How pitiful. You're accusing me of the one thing that I couldn't have possible done. If you actually look at my post for what it says and not something to contradict, you'll find that I quoted Naruto's entire speech and theorized about it as a whole!
Let me clear this up for you. He says "You can't beat Sasuke by being strong. Now I know.....What's inside of him is...." He says this, but makes no mention of a need to increase strength on the next page.

This is a very very basic figure of speech called Paradox. Even a jackass knows this. The second statement is clearly contradictory and states the obvious need for Strength. The first one on the other hand talks about inner strength with the obvious link to Sasuke's inner-demons. Otherwise, what is stopping him from declaring that he can and the time is not right? This makes the first dialogue create an intentional antithetical statement of some kind of inner strength BS that Naruto is known for, considering his bleeding Will of Fire lectures.
Sorry, but unlike you, I even mentioned the whole thing and the importance of including the later dialogues in case you didn't bother to read. Another funny thing; the whole idea of the manga up till now was to catch up to Sasuke. He was never at Sasuke's level, in fact, purely as a ninja, the guy is STILL legions behind. Doesn't matter how many times you benight it, the statement won't change in the long run. No use warping it. Perhaps, you should have picked up a character with better IQ. It isn't my fault the guy has raisins for brains still.
P.s: Don't bother clearing up anything for me. You have no clue about any writing devices and are just posting self-made justifications.
This exactlyHes exceptional, the whole better than Naruto thing you just pulled out of your ass
