You can always debate the merits of an individual shinobi, we have seen it countless times here. Dealing with hypotheticals, we do not know how far Minato might have progressed with his powers.

So ARGUABLY, we can discuss if he was the strongest and keep him as a top tier character. To STATE, I am not saying he was the strongest in any capacity. Just a ludicrous comment like this is way off the mark, he is powerful enough to be included in these debates.

You will then get minato fans like ganjababy, uzumaki16,theye, baka sannin, minatoflash and the other dude who claimed that minato is immune to genjutsu.

minato would have been one of the strongest shinobi that ever lived if he never died.
Naruto wouldnt have had the fox in him but he would have learned saged mode, and ftg and other sealing jutsu.

stop with the itachi is better arugument they are both great shinobi
but itachi was born into an elite clan itself, has the sharigan. born with power, didnt really have to work as hard as others would have.

You can believe what you want. He has shown feats which leads me to believe that he would still be formidable without his sharigan.

Not sure why we are arguing about this though, after all if you have a blood line limit youd be a fool to not use it. He still had more potential than any of the strong ninja's without a bloodline limit

But at the end of the day, until it's actually been portrayed in the manga. This is all hypothetical, people should be more acknowledging of other people's cases.

His manga hype were all bad translations, him being unsurpassable etc, he has no knowledge of tsukyomi/ amaterasu/susanno , itachi's genjutsu capabilities, while itachi would know about his ftg , eveyone knew, he was a war hero and itachi grew up in that period ,

Whilst its true that both characters probably have more techniques up their sleeves that the manga hasnt shown, we can only judge this based on what we have been given by kishi

I myself have found a better way to counter ftg which itachi has shown. Although i dont want you to create the thread, if you do i will reveal it .
