Minato can beat Itachi (plz read)

Minato is a great ninja and imo only Minato isnt a genius Itachi is a freaking genuis too though i think it would be close fight but i favour Minato over Itachi.

The explanation u gave was truly long nywys good work, i agree also i see you are minato fanboy just dont underestimate Itachi.

well i red it and i don't agree first i like both minato and itachi second i think susano'o doesn't drain chakra at all ( Sasuke Vs Itachi both were out of chakra ) and third itachi's Genjutsu is activated as soon as you look into his eyes and like you said if minato didn't know about the sharingan i thik he would go like :< WTF red eyes !? > and there you have it already under genjutsu which gives itachi time for the mangekyou sharingan even though it wouldn't take more than 2 to 3 seconds to activate hen finally we have Aamaterasu and susano'o plus all the fire style jutsus so i guess itachi would win but it's quit possible for minato to grab the victory either so it's hard to tell ( sorry for the long reply i just liked the thread )

All of Itachi's genjutsu are short ranged so Minato can stare at his eyes all he wants if he just keeps a distance and he is a genius, he won't just charge into a genjutsu or Susanoo either, and once Itachi is out of chakra, he wud have to be, Minato can get close to him without getting caught, he can send clones to do ftg and cut Itachi's neck of and FTG takes no chakra, and Itachi wud have to do Susanoo to defend from this and that takes up A LOT of chakra trust me and cud even make him blind.

SO once again, he can keep a distance and spam attacks, like summon an army of toads, Itachi wud have to go Susanoo, he can't keep it forever, Minato wud use his speed and win.

I am not a fanboy really. And I never underestimate Itachi, i know he is very powerful. Itachi in my opinion cud take almost anyone hes in my top 10.

First off you said FTG will end the fight, but what happens when Minato has to attack, he has to get up close, All of Itachis attacks are unique because they have various ranges, minato is only a close range fighter.

And even if minato were to get close to itachi (which I highly doubt because susano'o would stop him from getting inside) itachi would place him in a genjutsu, not tsukuyomi, but one that is a little quicker to launch. In my opinion, Minato loses this battle.

hmmm naruto didn't break out though, and jiraiya only knew a basic means of releasing a genjutsu, so I don't think minato has the ability to dismantle advanced genjutsu from itachi

Wait dude don't u see that Itachi cud of gotten these people in the genjutsu when he was close ranged to them. Thats the only way and thats what they are talking about, he cud just control them far but we have never seen him cast one from far, and according to the manga he couldn't against Nagato and the data books say the same. Not to mention these guys were wrong it wasn't even Itachi lol.

Once again, I said it cud end the fight, much higher chance than Itachi's close range, much slower genjutsu ending the fight. Once ftg is done, Minato cud just stab Itachi, we don't know if genjutsu is that fast, we don't know if a stab is faster. But what we do know is, the only way Itachi cud really defend against Minato's ftg is Susanoo (lets say Minato sends clones to do ftg along with an army of toads distracting him, no genjutsu on real Minato now) and Itachi can ONLY guard his attacks with Susanoo and as soon as it runs out, Minato can ftg him with even a clone and genjutsu is short-ranged, we do know that.

One point you missed that favors the 4th is that all genjutsu is a form of Yin release.(stated in narutopedia and manga).

The 4th sealed the yin chakra of the 9 tails so he is profecient at this release.

mm I think Itachi has the upperhand on this one, sure it would take long for itachi to activate the tsukiyomi(however it's spelled) but Minato has no education on the Mangekyo Sharingans abilities(Only person who had it at the time was Madara). If he did he wouldn't have looked Madara(who he thought he was fighting) in the eyes and be more wary in his abilities to even get close to perhaps be captured in the amaterasu. I'll give minato his speed I mean they don't call him Yellow Flash for nothing but he'd still have to get close to use his rasengan..

most of your points are based on itachi taking long to activate MS. well at first you said it will take a long blink to activate tsukyomi(u was right) then you said it will take a long blink to activate MS as a whole(you was utterly wrong) , itachi doesnt need to blink to activate his MS, example when he fought sasuke and he was describing the power of sharingan etc. it doesnt take any time to go from 3 tomoe to mangekyo sharingan, itachi just keeps his eyes open and you can see the shifting of it from normal sharingan to MS. and to your point about minato throwing a kunai, your forgeting that itachi is a master of shuriken and kunai, as soon as minato chucks his kunai , itachi can stop the kunai in its path by throwing his own at it and giving him some space. also itachi is a master of substitutions and clones, so wats not to say that minato will be playing around with a clone until the real itachi pops up behind him :/ .

Anyone who agrees with you is smart and anyone who does'nt is dumb huh? Listen itachi fanboy, when he sees that rasengan has no effect on susanoo, minato will teleport away from there faster than the time the sword takes to come down on him. Just look at when Tobi tried to suck him into another dimension, there was less time there then there will be against the totsuka blade.
