We have all read the manga and we have all seen Gold Lightning's signature. Minato in base is faster than 8 Gate Gai he completely sh!+$ on him. In Base.

Sage Mode Minato or KCM Minato is another story Base Minato already made 8 Gate Gai look like a turtle compared to his Godspeed.

Gai's Night Guy might be on par with Minato's base speed but not his KCM + SM speed.

Attacking from a distance does not make him faster it just gives him a slight advantage Madara is a close range fighter. The hilarious fact of the matter is that Minato had the balls to get that close to Madara to the point that he could counter his attack while Gai stayed away because one strike from the black weapons = GAME OVER!!

No I don't think teleportation = speed. The evidence is clear Minato's 180 spin plus he was fast enough to activate his teleportation before the black orbs passed through his body like bullets through paper. While Gai could t even avoid the black orbs.

Time and Space standstill with Base Minato's speed. Gai bending space does not make him light speed that can be achieved by being relativistic, light speed, or faster than light.

8 Gate Gai is a mixture of Speed, taijustu, and Power. Minato is faster than 8 Gate Gai but not more powerful. KCM Minato is the one who surprised Juubito with that Giant Rasengan and did the double teleportation with Tobirama. KCM only increases his acceleration but not his reflexes. Sage Mode gives better reflexes and sensing.

Lol, it's funny because 8 gates is the only suicide move that people here accept as a win for that user. In this case wouldn't even work because once activated, anyone with FTG teleport home while the gates user just be like "oh $hit"
