(walks into the family castle, which has fallen into slight disrepair, leaves, vines, weeds and webs can be seen everywhere. the fountains have stoped running and the pools are either empty or meerky green.)
Sai: this place needs to be cleaned.
(sai then walks out the the front of the sacred forest.)
Sai: hopefully the demon samurai are still here. they are immortal after all.

(a battalion of demon march out with weapons drawn.)
Sai: well this can not get any worse. (turns around just see he's surround by more demons.) how many legions did he leave behind? (stares at demon as they stare at him.)

Sai: do u guys know who i am? u know if my father knew what you... wait i forgot you guys are already dead. well then any one up for a compromise?
(a samurai looking look their leader marches up and draws his sword)

Sai so tell me, how quick can repairs be made?
Captain: we can start with the clean up than we can make a better repair estimate.
Sai: good to know. any way wats your name captain?
Captain: Hattori of the Minamoto clan.
Sai: well meet kinsmen.
(sai then leaves hattori to his duties.)

Hattori: well my lord the castle has been clean from top to bottom, and repairs should be complete within a couple of weeks. the pools are drained and cleaned as we speak and the barracks and being upgraded for maximum use.
Sai: excellent job Hattori. can we also get the docks tended too? i have ships that should be docking to port in a few days. and my fathers' war room and his armory. i want them completely remodeled and restocked for my use.
Hattori: yes my lord right away.
(stands in the balcony over looking the construction site.)
Sai: i will return our people to greatness. one step at a time.

didn't quite expect that reaction. expected a more offensive response. weapon drawn and such. but you jumping back in shock is good too ^^

Sai: i don't think im ready to fill his shoes. but he did tell me to find Amy, Howard, or Blood if i needed help. (takes out note) and the steer clear of that excuse of a leader kayame. im guessing that's a personal thing, and your Amy? and what did she do to him? and then there's something about a balko. what's that?

You don't need to fill his shoes. You can make your own.

The story of balko is long and one I do not know in full. Asking one of the others is probably best if you are that anxious to answer you questions.

Sai: so ur aunt Amy. father always did speak highly of you. also their personal problem may have already crossed my path but in a different light. there's a guys i meet who leads the infernal army, but marches against kayame. he serves he serve another demon lord. says that i have already meet the man but i don't think i have seeing as i sailed into port the day before yesterday. i plan to meet with her to discuss the re-establishment of our people. demon have become a dying commodity. i was hoping you could go with me not sure how she will react having a Minamoto in her court. also i have no intention of meeting this balko.
