The difference is that once Sakura took off her jacket, she had no more acid actively burning her, just a burn. Not to mention she only got hit on part of her forearm. That is completely different from her entire body aching from burns continuously.
Just because the acid is from Kaguya's dimension doesn't mean it is more potent. Going by this logic, doton produced by shinobi chakra is less durable than random rocks from Kaguya's dimensions. Mei's has better feats and hype. Plus it is made out of chakra.
What difference does regeneration make when it comes to endurance? Yes she healed the katon but that attack is not continuous unlike acid mist. Not to mention it doesn't burn her entire body.
Of course she can't. Suiton jutsu are often neglected when it comes to raw power, but they are very good at creating openings. With amounts of water Mei can create at will and the water's sheer mass AND the fact that she has control over the trajectory.

I wasn't talking about lava nor did I say any of Mei's ninjutsu can instantly melt Sakura. I agree Byakogou can counter acid mist but my point is I don't think Sakura can do much while being under such duress much like Sasuke could never go on the offensive.
