Your point? Does Mei have chakra levels comparable to Hashirama, able to overflow and scare people like that? No. Is acidic mist an energy blast, that evaporates water and eradicates mountains? No. The only argument you have here is that Suigetsu will be affected by the mist, by having a melting reaction. For one, even if he does melt, he gets back on his feet. Two, you have no basis for all of this. Three, Suigetsu is just one character in a team.

Which has been happening every time he has fought, being practically non factor and has never slowed him down.

Which is a fuel for Suigetsu, and Suigetsu corners her with massive Suiton that he creates or Sasuke escapes along with his comrades in the mist. Ribcage having durability doesn't tell anything about how strong the substance is. It's like saying because wood doesn't melt and rock does, wood is therefore stronger. What? Doesn't go that way.

Not to mention as Draegod said, Sasuke without CM2 and weakened got little burns. CM2 would never get burned as much, unless you're telling me that Katon and bombs < Acid Mist that could barely melt walls.

What are you talking about? Sasuke directly next to her, so is the rest of the team. She just points out where she is, Sasuke launches array of missiles along with Juugo to bring her out and finishes her off with a blitz.

Mei ragdolled Madara with a water jutsu

Sasuke doesn't have anything of that calibre

Alright, but still a few points since y'all want to get scientific about this;
Fire inflicts damage by burning tissue, Acid usually burns by reacting and thus breaking down lips and protein which are the constituent parts. Given that it was able to melt Susano, it's not a normal acid, but also has a thermal reaction, and a strong one at that. What does it relate to? Sulfuric Acid. Sulfuric acid breaks skin down with hydrolysis and is highly exothermic, causing dehydration to skin. Now that this is established, Sasuke was still being protected by his Susano when he had slight burns due to the high level of heat, not the hydrolysis, since it wouldn't do anything to a Susano, yet the heat would. Thus, a CM2 Sasuke is immune to the thermal properties of her Acid Mist but not the hydrolysis her Futton can instigate. So he would lose, by going blind, since hydrolysis takes a dump on the cornea of the eye which is highly composed of proteins, thus hydrolysed like any acid would hydrolyse. Another thing I can mention is a acid's hygroscopic nature, which means it takes in water molecules. And since everyone here is willing to claim that Suigetsu doesn't melt, but is always completely composed of water, his water molecules begin leaving his body on contact with said acid, as the large majority of thermal acids are Hygroscopic. Inb4 her acid mist isn't thermal, even though Susano cannot possibly be hydrolysed since it's pure chakra which was never indicated to be a compound, let alone the fact that it's thermal properties are so high that it exceeded temperatures of Lava, which is insane.

Just saying, acid mist shouldn't be compared to fireballs. They work in different ways. Mist melted Susano'o, fireballs can most likely be tanked by a ribcage. What's more, acid mist seems to only affect chakra-based material and organic material, which explains why it doesn't melt through rocks walls.

Mei's Futton was able to partially melt Madara's V3 Susanoo [ ] There is absolutely no way for CS2 Sasuke to tank it.

Firstly, we can't use science in case of Susano'O. Chakra is energy. Acid is purely dependent in atoms. The strength of acid is measured on how easily it gives up protons. As we know, pH scale tells us how acidic a substance is. Since chakra has no atoms, it's really an odd case. We can assume that due to E=Mc^2, the energy has become matter, but we still don't know what the atoms are. So Susano'O argument can't be used.

If acid is mixed to water, it becomes diluted and the pH rises to closer level of 7 (which is neutral). It may become a bit heated (the water and substance), but only if water is added to acid things become much worse. Ultimately, water negates acid in that case.

Unlikely, Susano was only burned due to the Acid's heat, as was Sasuke burned, through the heat that was close to him since it doesn't have to make contact with him to heat the surrounding air. Note that rocks can reach melting points much higher than lava, so there may be an in-between of Mei's lava, Sasuke's Susano's melting point, and the rocks that have an even higher melting point. More so, in this scan before mist was used, walls are normal [ ], in this scan after her mist, the walls are melting all around [ ].

Not sure if a typo, but pretty sure that lava is already molten rock, and when rock melts it becomes magma.

No, I already brought up the example of Sulfuric Acid and it's an accurate exhibition of what happened. It burns and hydrolyses, exactly like Mei's Futton. I showed the melting walls that were untouched by Mei's lava to beansandcornbread, there's no denial at this point. It matches everything and has scans to back up its thermal properties. The only way it harmed Sasuke after him having Susano still intact is its heat which could've been raised the atmospheric temperature, since there's on way his skin was hydrolysed without contact as there is no ready reaction. It was heat, it's shown thermal properties which I have already presented, and acids like Sulfuric acid possess these thermal properties which cause secondary effects like tissue dehydration.

Irrelevant. Diluting acid still causes an exothermic reaction, not to mention hygroscopic aspects of Acids with thermal properties. If you drop a sugar cube into a hygroscopic solution, the sugar will turn black because it loses it's water molecules, similar to when you burn powders in a chemical experiment. Not to mention, it being able to burn through Susano when Lava couldn't, and it being able to burn through the rocks which posses far above 500 C melting points implies it easily evaporates Suigetsu.

I know that, but some rocks may have a 1000 degree melting point whereas a cooler lava may have a 800 degree melting point.

Team Taka being CQC fighters will try to get close to Mei. She'll put up acid mist but with no intel on either side, it means they'll run into it without precaution thinking it is ordinary mist. Although Juugo can fuse with Sasuke while Karin heals them both to prevent acid mist from taking Sasuke down. Getting close to Mei is problematic though with a massive 100 m starting distance.

Mei wins high difficulty in scenario one and mid difficulty in scenario two.

Fighting on par with someone off panel aren't valid feats. Thats just power scaling and speculation. By that logic I can say Kakuzu is on par with Hashirama since he survived a fight versus him like Madara did.

I don't know what you are talking about, because there's not really an exact strength level to all acids. The pH level, ranges from 0,3 to 2,1. Also, Mei has stated that she can manipulate the pH level of her acid. And if you're theorizing this, guess I can't really disagree but it's irrelevant to what I said.

That's if it's nearly solidified. But Mei's isn't, and it's almost liquid. Lava evaporates, it doesn't melt. If it's melted, it doesn't melt.

The pH is irrelevant since you can have acids which are differing in a corrosive context. HCl is a stronger acid than HF, HF is more corrosive. F- is very reactive ion and can easily react, so it can destroy other molecules so that it forms newer bonds that include the F- ions. Your only acknowledgeable claim was that she doesn't have Hashirama reserves, but fact remains that she doesn't need them, as all she really needs is a Hidden Mist and an Acidic Mist. She has more than enough chakra for that when has showcased massive Suiton's and Yoton's. They were clearly in a room of rock [ ], and only 2 sides were portrayed to melt, of which both were affected by Lava, whereas the other two were unaffected. After she uses her Acid Mist, the two walls that were unaffected began to melt, so my point stands, she melted normal rock, as the only known wall that melts when reacting with acids is usually drywall/calcium carbonate [ ].

This is the part where you, ignored me. This only works when you add water to acid. This is why, scientists do not add water to acid, but add acid to water. You do not add water to acid, otherwise the water evaporates. I have told you in 5 posts that the water does not evaporate this way. And since acid is added to water in this case, Suigetsu won't evaporate.

After reading this paragraph, you probably haven't read my points. Just read my previous points and they'll be a reply to your current.
