I love how everyone ever debating Mei as a strong kage can only ever debate her against Tsunade. Which in the end even if she does beat Tsunade still makes her a weak kage if you guys consider Tsunade at the bottom of the batch. It's more sad than accomplishment and you guys should keep quiet about it.

Tsunade > her as kunoichi. VS debatable still in Tsunade's favor.

Well she isnt. But you are 100% biased ignoring a speed feat, which clearly shows Tsunade can blitz her but hey.

1. Of course she had to pull out the sword, which was in the way for the sells to regenerate. One can't heal the wound with the different object being in the way. The moment she took the sword out, the wound started closing and finished to completely regenerate in that second scan.
2. You can imagine Mei's lava being in-place of Madara's Katon. Tsunade'd have healed it without much effort.

the fact that you believe regular fire is hotter than lava is just a joke.

actually using the strategy that mei could use that i posted.. Tsunade is actually one of the worst opponents for her because of healing..

if she used the strategy against anyone else then they would be in a lot of danger..

What's with all the speed feats here. I don't think either Mei or Tsunade are very fast. They are about average in speed. So I don't think speed feats are going to play a critical role in their battle really. Mainly it's going to come down to tactics. Tsunade is much older and has more combat experience(remember she is 50 something)

Since when did Madara's legendary fire techniques become regular?
I didn't even state it was a bigger threat than lava. I just compared the 2.
Tsunade CAN dodge Mei's lava shots to the point where they won't be at a level of threat, which can't be healed.

Tsunade could blitz Mei as seen from the speed feat I brought up. That was the point.

She has a slim chance only against Tsunade,other than that she's a fodder compared to other hokages...

One shot with lava is it. You do realize that just because Tsunade is a close range fighter doesn't necessarily mean the fight goes to Mei. Yes Mei has two long range Kekkei Genkai. And it really depends on how well Tsunade uses Katsuyu here.

katsuyu is a support typed. Katsuyu can attatch itself to Tsunade giving her the extra coating she would need in tangent with Byakugou to actually Tank Mei's poison mist and Lava. Not to mention the sheer number of smaller Katsyu Tsunade can break the larger one into.

Can you imagine multiple Katsuyu spitting acid fogging up the area, while a slightly larger one is attached to a Byakugou released Tsunade? At that point Tsunade can use the confusion to tank the lava, and close in the range.

Tsunade's greatest disadvantage in this fight is staying at long range. Tsunade is a Sannin and the Hokage. She is aware of her disadvantage and you can believe the fight isn't going to stay at long ranged for long. Mei's reaction time isn't all that great. They needed her to counter Madara's fire jutsu but she wasn't able to keep up most of the time. Where as Tsunade was bringing the pain to his Susanoo.

I give this fight to Tsunade, High difficulty.

Since when does Tsunade fight like this or has used that slug as an offensive weapon. She uses the summon defensively or for healing other people. The ONLY thing her acid has ever burned has been rocks so im not seeing how that is such an OP deciding factor in this fight

And u said that lava is 5000 degrees. That is utter bullshit. Please don't tell lies for the sake of underrating a character and overrating another. That temperature is more or less the temperature of the surface of the Sun-like star.

According to Wikipedia, lava after erupted from volcano is 700 to 1200 degress Celcius. You think Mei's mouth is a volcano? That temperature won't make sense, it will vaporize Mei and any user of Lava release.

Her lava must be the "cooled" lava like the those that had flowed far away from a volcano.

Or you can't take real world facts into a manga. It the lava that Mei used was really extremely hot, those people at the Kage Summit must have shown to be irritated by the sheer heat. Yet they acted like it was nothing.

It was not so hot at all.

if Tsunade summons Katsuyu right off the bat then Mei might have a problem.. however i believe Mei in this time can use acid mist to a decent size which would still help combat Katsuyu and Tsunade..

however im using the scenario that Mei already has Lava down on the battlefeild and corrosive mist set up.. in which case i dont think Katsuyu would make much of a contribution to the battle before she dissapears.. as i said before lol

however i agree that Katsuyu would prove to be a problem if she is summoned from the get go however i dont think it would be "GG" as some people like to think..

as i said before this battle could go either way..

we have to take into consideration the distance they start off.. the area they battle in.. ect..

this thread hasnt taken any of these into considering but if we think about what both have in there arsenal im leaning more towards Mei..
