im certain Mei can atleast create a good area around her into lava.. maybe not the entire field depending on where the fight takes place however you would be a fool to think she couldnt atleast have a nice think layer of lava around her for a good distance

Even though I give this fight to Tsunade. I agree with you in this case. I don't see why others think that Mei's Lava is so weak or that she can't just create a pool of Lava around her. She is a Kage after all. Her poison mist would be great to cover the area in a field so that Tsunade can't see.

Not to mention...She is the Mizukage so she has some pretty devastating Water jutsu. Though Tsunade would probably be able to tank most of her water jutsu so it would come down to her Lava jutsu which seems like her best bet.

Again, the key for Tsunade is how she uses Katsuyu. More than ever Katsuyu's support abilities would be put to the test.

This is what happened in the time it took for that wound to heal, Tsunade was able to take the sword out, Grab and swing it, Madara was able to block that attack and counter before attack Byakugou healed the wound.

Same with her blocking Madara's katon, Mei was able to talk to tsunade and have tsunade reply before she realized Byakugou had ran out

I'm inclined to agree here. I don't think Byakugou's healing is instantaneous. The reason it is getting praise is because it heals without the use of hand signs. Even Hashirama's/Madara's isn't instantaneous. They only heal after a brief moment of injury. And I think the greater the injury the longer it will take to actually heal. Not to mention Byakugou has a time limit.

katsuya's tanking feats r pretty high for mei along side the fact it can split melt shoot acit can telepathy type thing to give tsunade info

Tsunade is the best medical ninja out there and the second main aspect of medical ninjas during the fight is dodging. She'll easily dodge those lava attacks and even if a part of her body gets hit, she'll instantly regenerate the burnt cells. No matter the distance between the two, with just one kick on earth Tsunade can cause Mei to lose control and collapse... use that advantage, close the distance and hit her with that crater-creating punch...
I'll not even bother continuing to state the obvious...
Mei with her current skills and feats is no match for the legendary Sannin.

Tsunade moved quite a distance before Mei could perform a handseal and spit. :| Tsunade is fast. At least in part 2.

Tsunade is underrated.

Byakugou
Tsunade use Byakugou to regenerate from any attacks. The regeneration is instant. She was able to regenerate her fatal wounds from Madara's Susanoo sword instantly.

Katsuyu
She can use Katsuyu to tank her self like what she did when protecting Konoha villagers from Pein's Shinra Tensei.

Katsuyu can use her acid for long range attacks. Katsuyu can split up herself to occupy Mei with her acid attacks from different direction.

Courage
Tsunade's courage is miles better than Mei. Looking back at the fight with Madara, Mei's will was very weak.


And for people saying Tsunade is a support type to argue that she's weak, that's not really true. In the fight with Madara, Tsunade was one of the Kages who attacked Madara the most. Mei was mostly doing a supporting role during the fight.

Tsunades overall size is just bigger but her cup size is smaller then Mei. on top tsunade uses the byakugou to keep her fake b**bs and looks on the hight side.

exactly i hate it Mei is stupidly under rated by a lot of people.. Mei isnt even my fav character.. i like her but not my fav and my argument for my Mei wins soley relys on the fact that she has tsunade waste chakra.. whiles maintaining her distance.. truthfully this could go both ways.. however regeneration takes quite the bit of chakra and if mei can keep using the pressure of the water to push her away from her or just to keep tsunade dodging whiles Tsunade remains in the mist and the lava then it makes Tsunade waste more chakra.. Mei can even resort to using kunai tag bombs so she can preserve her own chakra.. my argument isnt basically about doing severe damage to tsunade but simply outlasting her by using a good defence

the way i see it.. a win is a win.. how its done doesnt matter

tanking feats might be high.. however the rate at which lava melts aswell as acid mist i believe that katsuyu would go "poof" before actually being able to make a decent contribution to the battle

again lava> regen you guys keep saying oh she just heals NO the lava doesn't just go away if someone spills a drink on your shirt is it gone just because its not spilling on you anymore? NO the lava simply just melts right through her and its game do you know how HOT lava is? Standing within five feet of lava sets you on FIRE if tsunade gets direct hitted its gg she gets to be melted and set on fire.

I love how everyone ever debating Mei as a strong kage can only ever debate her against Tsunade. Which in the end even if she does beat Tsunade still makes her a weak kage if you guys consider Tsunade at the bottom of the batch. 1. Of course she had to pull out the sword, which was in the way for the cells to regenerate. One can't heal the wound with the different object being in the way. The moment she took the sword out, the wound started closing and finished to completely regenerate in that second scan.
2. You can imagine Mei's lava being in-place of Madara's Katon. Tsunade'd have healed it without much effort.
