1st) Dont compare Gods Son (Nas)1 To Weak Wills.

2nd) Don't compare the God Jay2 to Drizzy Drapes.

3rd) As a Nas fan (Dudes my favorite artist.) Jay won the battle between this. Hard to admit it but Ether was just a barrage of insults that set off the climax with a powerful ass bang.3

4th) Meek is gonna still lose in the long run. He a poor ***** what you expect? Plus a fanbase is what matters most nowadays and thats what has been carrying Drake this entire time.4

P.S. If you hadn't notice this post resembles the Kanye tweets when he beefed with Wiz5
1. Gods Son Nas
2. God Jay
3. How u gon' say that you are a Nas fan and he is your favorite artist then say that Jay is a God, he won the rap battle because ether was just a barrage of insults, now you sound like you just started listening to rap yesterday, ain't a diss supposed to have insults and punch lines ? Ain't back2back the same ? Like insults and shit ?
4. He made millions on the Pinkprint tour cuz he opened most of the nights and got lots of money from that so how he a poor ***** ? Last part is true.
5. In what way ?

Btw: You just took a handful of Ls tbh.

I'm not being funny either. It was some real calculated work by Meek and some real sloppy work by Drake.

Basic rundown:
Drake drops new song on his OVOsound radio show "Summer 16" (It's not nearly as good as "Charged Up" or "Back to Back" just to let you know) and announces his album due in April (I think Meek's album comes out then too)

VERY SHORTLY (like 15 minutes) after, Meek drops "4/4 part 2" (another 4-song mixtape like his last one).
One song in particular "War Pain", directly addresses the "Summer 16" track Drake just put out. Just for fyi, he even has a nice song with Future, yea Future.

You really have to listen to the songs but I'll try to go in more detail below. But before getting into the actual songs....the funny part....these *****s are actually in the same hotel, in Toronto, one floor apart. Drake in the room right above with his team, Meek in the room right below with Nicki :lmao: 2016 beef.

Now here's where the W comes in.
"Summer 16" likely was the most miscalculated thing Drake has done in a while. Dude finds out Nicki and Meek are staying in Toronto at the Four Seasons, so he gets a room above them for him and all his boys....they're even all wearing the same thing apparently....so he can drop this track of "bullet proof verses" (song reference) in the same hotel while Meek is "going to bed" (song reference). He talks a lot of shit in this song. Claims to be the new Jay...has a bigger pool then Kanye..you should listen or genius the lyrics it's something.

Now as I said, only 15 minutes later, Meek comes back and addresses nearly EVERY reference in this song. The time frame is so short and the lines are so specific that either he guessed Drake would drop a track, stayed up and waited for the drop, and recorded his response in 15 minutes (impressive, sad), or he had to know beforehand what Drake's move was going to be. According to Meek, Drake's ghostwriter for the "Summer 16" track told him (deeeeuuumm). I ain't gone lie, I listened to Summer 16 first, and I didn't think Drake wrote it to start with. The bars sounded more like a failed "what would Drake say?" track. Meek basically turned his move upside down and smacked him up in his own city in all of 15 minutes. Not a good look for the 6 God. Once you listen to the tracks you really get an idea of just how much of a ball drop this was for Drake especially after executing his last two tracks so well. It's like they switched roles or something.

Go have a listen for yourselves though. I'm sure a lot of people are tired of this beef but trust this turn of events is actually worth the time. You really wouldn't have expected something like this to go down
the song he was playing "upstairs" isn't summer 16. Its back to back. OvO has a leak as meek states on his ig that "the ghost writer told me"

Meek cant make, mix, and master a track in 15 minutes. U stupid to believe that. On top of that he was at the sixers game when both songs dropped (referenced in War Pain mind you, shows if youre actually listening or not) so its quite impossible for that to be the case

Meek simply got access to the lyrics prior to drake dropping it and tailor made War Pain to shut that shit down.

Smoove moves on meeks part, ill say this is shaping up to be quite the strategic rap beef. Meek didn't enroll in college for nothing

Edit: Nah you actually right. My bad. But you can chill it down though. Didn't think he mixed and masterd it in 15 anymore than you think he tailored and dropped War Pain to point out he's at the sixers game.....while at the sixers game (because it's stupid to think that right?). The track was clearly pre-recorded. Just had the wrong diss record in mind

I'm straight

We've seen what happens when meek is pressured into dropping a track quick. "Wanna know" was hot garbage. I dont think anybody can drop a song (thats actually good) in a mere fifteen minutes. Not to mention he had a feature.

Lol I know that man. I was saying he dropped the \B]pre-recorded[/B] song (since he was obviously tipped off beforehand) 15 minutes (or however long it was)...after Summer Sixteen was dropped. Not that he literally sat down and made the song in 15 minutes.

But I was still off on how it went down. My bad. I should've known better now that I think about it Meek on probation he can't leave Philly lol. I just thought he was tipped off that Drake and crew were coming to check into the hotel he was staying to drop Summer Sixteen so he had it all set up beforehand. That Sixers game line in War Pain I thought he was just speaking generally because he's been going to a few of them lately. Either way it's the same scenario someone clearly told him what was happening and when so he made the track accordingly and dropped it shortly for a response. I just had the wrong diss song in mind and shit went a little left from there lol

My bad bro but appreciate the correction

Thats what i think too. Somebody tipped him off or gave him some lyrics.

no problem. Some of it is still technically 'speculation' but in terms of whats believable one makes more sense than the other.

To me the only speculation left is whether or not Drake actually had a ghost writer for the track. The fact that someone tipped him off beforehand is pretty straight forward. As you pointed out he was at the Sixers game when SummerSixteen dropped. There was no time between then and 4/4 pt 2 dropping to make War Pain especially if he was at a game when it was released so the only possibility of him knowing the content and timing of the release is if he were told beforehand. MAYBE he put in the Sixers game reference after SummerSixteen dropped and then released the track but I doubt it since that's still a small window even if it's just adding in one verse. But even with that aside...he addressed so much of the song that he had to have pre-recorded the track.

But having the content of the track doesn't mean the track was ghost written. SummerSixteen was probably recorded already awhile back too. Someone could've just heard the recording and told Meek about it. Either way it was a perfect move on his part. Really it was the only way he could've responded and succeeded

you're right. Whether it was ghost written or not doesn't matter. As long as the fans at large believe it was then meek can do no wrong.

Darke needs to find that leak before it turns into a broken dam. Cuz if meek keeps on tailor making his responses to drake's diss tracks then drake can never win.

It's tied up right now. Both 1-1 on the scoreboard. Drake has back to back and Meek has War Pain. They both have garbage diss tracks they released to each other; Charged up and Wanna know. You could argue that Drake was more strategic with his moves before, but Meek set that straight too. That social media shit doesn't mean anything. So as of now I think they're on equal footing.

Let's say Drake has a ghostwriter. Wouldn't the smartest move be to tell him to sit on bench while he writes his own sh*t just get the heat off of him for maybe, perhaps being exposed? Especially in a diss track from the dude who is supposedly exposing you...

If he didn't write that, that would be extremely dumb and arrogant even for a rapper.
