Med ninja are also brilliant at their chakra control to the point Kabuto decided making a chakra surgical blade out of your hand for combat was a good idea!So med in the series is mostly what you expect and allows a shinobi to manipulate chakra in order to heal themselves and others injuries, from minor scrapes and bruises, stretching to full limb regrowth and the healing of much more major injuries (even to death but we don’t talk about that)
Healing is not the only field covered by medical ninjutsu however as it also grants great knowledge of the human body and with that the ability to launch assaults on opponents bodies with expert precision to attack the nervous system itself and disrupt their chakra network.
The medical field also deals with poisons, both the healing and creation of. Whilst this is mostly a separate field in our RP and falls under Poison Ninjutsu, basic poisons (not chakra manipulated ones) are accessible, wieldable and able to be created by medical nin.
I actually owned a Tsunade bio in the past so have had experience with medical summons and ‘modes’ already. Showing the side of medical ninjutsu that can provide momentary power boosts through the use of incredibly taxing medical seals and techniques.
So fairly self explanatory this first one, nullifies the advancement of any poison you may be afflicted with, using a steady supply of chakra to negate a poisons advancement through the body and allowing you to get to a safe location to treat properly.Med ninja are also brilliant at their chakra control to the point Kabuto decided making a chakra surgical blade out of your hand for combat was a good idea!
Right so I'll post a tech or two at a time. Give me a quick run down of how you see them working and ask as many questions as you need to:
( Iryo Ninjutsu: Doku Teikouryoku ) - Medical Technique: Poison Resistance
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra: ( 40 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will raise his resistance enabling him to stop the progression of a poison, toxin or venom he might have been contaminated with after feeling its first effects. This will not cure the poisoning but rather stop its progression so the user can continue to fight, hopefully winning the fight, to then be able to treat the poisoning. This is a skill that only consumes a move when activated, passively draining chakra, focus and stamina from the user as each turn passes.
( Iryō Ninjutsu: Masui Sejutsu ) - Medical Technique: Secret Anesthesia Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will charge a special chakra into one of his hands manifesting it as an ethereal pure chakra familiar, resembling a snake. It will then bite the patient, injecting chakra into him[/]. This chakra is designed to render a patient unconscious. The effect takes some time to establish and the patient needs to be still for it to be successful but is very useful to perform surgery, suturing wounds, setting bones straight, etc as it effectively sedates the patient and acts as a general anesthesia. While it can be used in battle, its almost impossible to do so because of the time it takes for the sedation to work and the need for the connection to remain intact until it does work.
Note: Lasts 2 turns
Yeah it works on any rank, as long as you pay the 40 chakra to stop it spreading each turn. The caviat being it doesn't heal, just stops it spreading. Wont cure any damage done either. So fairly self explanatory this first one, nullifies the advancement of any poison you may be afflicted with, using a steady supply of chakra to negate a poisons advancement through the body and allowing you to get to a safe location to treat properly.
Does the N/A rank of this technique suggest it can stop poisons of any rank or only poisons without a rank? So poisons not created by technique but by herbs etc.
Extension of that question, any effect of foreign chakra in your body? Could you cancel the effects of a perfume or other inhaled element/Nin? I’d imagine not but worth asking

A nice technique for use on a willing participant, or even more exciting to try and catch an unwilling participant. Also very cool because you get to summon a lickle chakra snake and who wouldn’t want one of those.
Spreads your chakra through the targets body acting as an anaesthetic, so numbing the body and allowing for you to operate on them pain-free and without the rash movements that pain would cause, throwing an operation into disarray.
Seems a bit weird that the time it takes to have an effect is only ever stated as being ‘a long time’ and not an actual RP useful term… any idea what ‘a long time’ equates too?
I'm going to say that's a complicated thing to gauge in the RP. So I'm just going to say at minimum it would hinder motor functions like speech and such. I say this as it's made to numb for surgery etc, so hindering movement etc would be the logical option.Removes a limited amount of poison from a targets body, doesn’t stop the effects of poisons already messing with the organs and such but removes enough that an antidote could be administered and cure the poison successfully. Just for extreme circumstances where an antidote is not enough.
No Questions.

A nice technique that can shutdown a body part through the injection of an electrical chakra surge into a specific set of nerves. Requires precision and knowledge of the body to land in the right areas and successfully shut down larger limbs. Useful for anaesthetising during minor medical procedures but also helpful for shutting down opponents limbs during a close quarters fight.
Effects of this technique if the head is struck?
Yeah pretty much. It's a weird one.A fairly self explanatory summoning technique that is used to bring forth equipment rather than animals. These range from simple tools for medical procedures to full laboratories hidden in a small tent.
No questions
A technique in which mosquitos of water are summoned and set upon a target, their purpose being to suck out any poisons ailing the victim. The mosquitoes bite into the skin and suck out poisons, cleansing any forthcoming effects as well as healing some of the damage already done by the poisons presence.
So this heals for 30? Heals for 50 but deals 20 itself? And cures the poison
Raw chakra plays out like:Create a chakra blade of sorts around the hands, the blade interestingly is capable of cutting through strong body tissues without leaving an open wound, so you can slice things up inside out. Useful for operating as you can do so without risk of infection or blood loss. No questions with this one.
This is fun, a highly focused, fast moving (lightning speed) beam of pure medical chakra that act as a sort of heat ray on contact. The first truly offensive medical technique we’ve come across and a very fun one indeed.
With the note at the bottom of this that specifies the ranks of techniques that can overcome this.. as an Arali with Siris instead of chakra, would this technique become neutral to elements and forego that note at the end? Or does the note take precedent over the general effects of Siris in battle?
Raw Chakra |
---|
Notes: Raw chakra is weak to everything that uses shape manipulation or chakra natures. The only exceptions are when raw chakra is molded and worked out with advanced shape manipulation (Eg: Rasengan) or when it has another source mixed into it (Eg: Senjutsu) in which case it becomes neutral. Raw Chakra is still weak to they absorption method of Dark Release and twice as weak to Anutu Release and it's components (Suen Release & Utu Release) regardless of advanced shape manipulation. |
I may be wrong, so you may you wanna ask in the q and a to be sure.Oh, strange. I could have sworn I remembered reading somewhere in that Siris section that it was strong to raw chakra or neutral and not weak to elemental chakras but obviously I dreamed that partthanks
It's only good if you can land the hit tbh. Realistically, think about how many people are going to let you hit them in a fight? Especially with a technique like that.Near total paralysis inflicted solely by the touch of a hand. This technique sounds incredible, targeting a limb to disable that or the spine to disable the entire body for five full turns. Combining this with multiple clone techniques just sounds ridiculous, into a Yamanaka body switch. Mmm mmm mmm tasty stuff.

It's a weird worded tech. It's basically forcing your cells to replicate which they do when they naturally heal. By replacing destroyed flesh it does negate damage that was done, which is kinda healing, but not like mystic palm.Oh, for sure people won’t let it land. But I’m itself, a technique that I am very fond of.
——
Another fairly strangely worded med tech in that it specifically states it is not a healing technique, yet it for all intents and purposes… heals. I guess it’s prior damage negation and not healing. But both of those in application have the same end result.
Dumb question maybe but you can be the target of your own med techs right? Some of them aren’t entirely clear on that
Tbh, it's kinda trash. It's a mode meaning you can't have something else active to boost your stats at the same time for the most part. Get yang, it does healing so much better. This is nice, a mode that one can activate in order to heal constantly during battle. Showing itself in the form of blue chakra that is visible around the body of the user.
I assume the ‘low speed’ part of the technique comes into play in the sense that damage is inflicted before healing begins, so it cannot heal quicker than you can be hurt meaning you’re not invincible. So if damage would defeat you, you are defeated and cannot heal through that.
No questions unless that understanding is incorrect.
