Thank your for taking me on as a student ^^

(Shunshin no Jutsu) - Body Flicker Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement, the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

A basic ninjutsu technique where you can disappear or appear in an instant. This is usually misused. You don't get a burst of speed this is much like the Body stance change technique. You mask yourself with mist, sand or leaves and jump basically, or move to another position.
I'll follow Cobalt's training method for this jutsu.

The Body Flicker technique is banned from fights, so you cannot use it in the rp. I suppose exceptions can be made if you agree with your opponent on altering the rules in an unofficial fight. If so, this technique is extremely useful to get out of deathly scenarios. One of the most basic scenarios that could happen is that your opponent, who could be running at you, threatens to cut your throat with a kunai. You could use this jutsu by either kicking up sand or leaves and conceal your actions. You'd jump away and appear somewhere between short and long range of your opponent, surprising him completely if he hasn't got any sensor abilities.

OOC: Great job, I see that you've already covered the basics of weapons and supplementary items. So what I am going to do is begin training with the weapon-based techniques of the ninjutsu list. These are the more straight forward ones.

A very simple and basic technique that requires you to have a black rope in your possession. This is option, but best used when the target has already been weakened somehow, otherwise it is very easy to counter. By grabbing a hold of the rope, you'll infuse it with chakra to strengthen it and bend to your will in a way as reinforcement. You'll proceed by wrapping the target with the rope, tying them down and using the chakra to forcefully tighten the hold. The downside to this technique is that you'll have to keep infused so that it doesn't loosen and can be overpowered freely.

(Kage Nawa no Jutsu) - Shadow Rope Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will use a black rope infused with their chakra to hold down and trap their opponent.
We will begin with a very basic technique, if you could call it that. You'll begin by grabbing a hold of a smoke bomb, if you have one in your possession. In the cover of the smoke, you'll grab a handful of makibishi and lay them throughout a desired radius, this is entirely up to you. A neat thing about this technique is that it doesn't require any chakra so it can be used in combination with another technique.

(Kage Makibishi no Jutsu) - Shadow Makibishi Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: A simple ninja technique in which the user deploys a smoke bomb and is used to lay down the makibishi undercover so that the enemy target will not notice. This technique is used to cause some damage and slow the enemy target down when they stand on them.

A rather unique technique and application for a projectile. You'll need a demon wind shuriken that will then be infused with your chakra. Envisioning the enlargement of the shuriken would be a mixture between the transformation jutsu and the shadow clone technique which gives it that solid physical aspect to it. Its almost as though you are creating a real physical copy of the shuriken but transformed to be larger. This technique is a good way to surprise your target last minute by enlarging it. However, you have to bare in mind the range of the technique that it has to be applied in before its too late.

(Ninpo: Kyojin Shuriken no Jutsu) - Ninja Art: Giant Shuriken Technique
Rank: D
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user throws a Demon Wind Shuriken towards the enemy and uses his chakra to massively enlarge the shuriken, brutally striking the enemy, sending them flying.

A fairly simple technique that I am not a fond of. By focusing chakra in your arms and hands, you'll begin focusing in swiftly reaching into your pouch consecutively as you begin releasing several barrages and waves of kunais towards your desired target. In essence this is a glorified way of forcing your opponent to defend with a technique of his own. The dynamic of the combination can change drastically depending on what you may have on the kunais, like special sealing tags or even explosives.

(Ninpo: Kakuu no mai ) - Ninja Art: Aerial Dance
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: short - mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will release several barrages of kunai at their opponent.

One of my favorite techniques, the combinations are pretty much endless and limitless. They are bound to each and every situation you use them in, as well as the person you are fighting. Using highly elastic and durable translucent string, you'll attach it to a single shuriken to throw and wield as you please, up to a certain point of course. With your finger-tip you are able to re-direct the original path of your shuriken as you see fit. Just like the makibishi technique, this one also doesn't require chakra which means it can be used in tandem with techniques that do.

(Sōshuriken no Jutsu) - Manipulated Shuriken Techique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 15
Description: With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.

Suddenly after the lengthy explanation of each individual technique, Luffy waves a special hand-sign in order to replicate himself. This in turn allows him to create physical copies of himself, three to be exact. Each one had a unique attribute or attire to fit the situation at hand.

Name: Laffy The Shieldsmen
Rank: N/A
Range: Close
Description:Laffy is a famous shieldsman from the roman times. He sports full greek-themed body armor with a helmet that protects his head, leaving his face exposed as well as ears. The chest and back plate cover said sections entirely, leaving the sides exposed as well as the arms. The most noticeable feature is Laffy's large rectangular shield that is as large as his body, covering him entirely. The shield is filled with four inch spikes that are protruding from every direction. Not only that but they have been dipped in poison, causing physical paralysis if stung. Laffy carries ninja pouches just like any ordinary ninja.
"This is Laffy, and he will be the first person you'll be interacting with. With what you've just learned, I want you to pick out some combinations and try them on him. Though, he won't sit idely and wait for you. That being said, you aren't required to use all the techniques you learned, as this is one of many targets to practice on. As you go about your combinations, I want you to note important key points both positive and negative as you see them throughout the technique's usages."

Suddenly Laffy begins charging towards the student, using the large shield to cover him, remembering his last known location as he could no longer see him visually. From the cover the shield, exited two circling shuriken that traveled in a wide arc, both aiming to come from either side of the student. Their trajectory if undeflected would aim to pierce into the target's rib-cage area. Meanwhile Laffy would continue to charge forward with his shield, at an attempt to trust his poisoned shield as he reached close range. His forward charge allowed him to stay in motion and away from thrown projectiles as he began to zigzag from side to side to avoid an potentially thrown projectiles.

Years had passed since Nanashi had last practiced the most crucial part of his arsenal: ninjutsu, the base of all other techniques. He was delighted when he heard news of a newly appointed sensei who was taking on students, Nanashi wouldn't let this chance slip by and sent a training application to Luffy. Much to Nanashi's surprise, the sensei responded almost instantaneously and accepted his request. Excited for this opportunity to refresh his memory and possibly gain new knowledge Nanashi rushed over to the training grounds to meet his new sensei.
After introducing themselves and running over the details of what specific field they would cover, the training started. Nanashi listened carefully as Luffy began explaining the essentials of weapon related ninjutsu. The latter demonstrated the weapons used for the several jutsus which Nanashi attentively observed. The sensei subsequently created three replicas of himself, of which one he introduced as "Laffy". Once Luffy had instructed Nanashi on what to do, Laffy charged straight at the student, hiding behind his large shield.

T-That isn't real poison, is it? Luffy-sensei?!

Wasting no time, Nanashi reached into a pouch with his left hand on his left hip and got hold of two shuriken which were attached to wires. Simultaneously, he grabbed a windmill shuriken from his belt with his free hand and channeled chakra into it. Once enough chakra was gathered, he launched the shuriken towards Laffy and followed it up by throwing the normal shuriken at Laffy's.
Nanashi then used his chakra to enlarge the windmill shuriken massively. The impact the huge weapon had on Laffy's shield was enough to temporarily stop him in his tracks or even push him back. Meanwhile, the two smaller shuriken had been deflected and Nanashi twitched his left index finger and thumb in order to pull them back, making them circle around Laffy's legs. If the latter would try to run, he would fall over due to his legs being tied together.

(Sōshuriken no Jutsu) - Manipulated Shuriken Techique

After tying Laffy's legs together, Nanashi turned to his sensei and started wondering whether his new sensei had just tried to kill him.

Phew, that was a close call! I really like the Manipulated Shuriken Technique as I believe that it can be used in a variety of scenarios. It could even be combined with a low ranked Katon technique that allows you to make fire travel to your opponent via a wire. So... if I wanted I could make Laffy's feet burn right now! However, I have to admit that this combination must have been very easy to counter with a simple wind technique. That would have launched the windmill shuriken and the two smaller shuriken back at me. Luckily, Laffy's vision was blocked by his large shield and he couldn't see my move.
There is another way I could have defended myself. It involves the Shadow Makibishi Technique and the Manipulated Shuriken Technique. I would have started by jumping backwards and throwing two shuriken, with wires attached to them, at Laffy's to deflect them. Simultaneously I would have thrown a smoke bomb on the ground with my other hand and throw down several makibishi. The makibishi would slow Laffy down and potentially stop him from running. Once he slowed down or stopped, I would have pulled the shuriken back, making them hit Laffy's left and right side respectively.

Both moves could easily be blocked with a wind technique or even weapons of my opponent. However, I believe that will always be the case with these techniques if you don't combine them with elemental techniques.
A positive of the Manipulated Shuriken Technique is the fact that you can surprise your opponent by changing the trajectory of your weapons and even make them hit his back. The fact that you use a wire can be combined with fire techniques.
The Shadow Makibishi Technique is very useful in close ranged combat. Your opponent might be running at you from a fairly short distance and you could conceal your actions by throwing down the smoke bomb and makibishi. Whilst your opponent would struggle due to the smoke blocking his vision and the makibishi slowing him down, you could have jumped away and used an elemental technique to attack him.

Luffy bursted out laughing in response to his student asking him about the poison. "Shishishishi, of course it is!" Moments later, he could see the calm and collected determination on his student's face as Laffy charged forward. With an interesting approach, the windmill shuriken that he had thrown was enlarged enough to prove to be a difficult obstacle to overcome as Laffy's momentum upon physical confrontation. Meanwhile the shuriken that were also thrown were deflected but circled around and wrapped around the training dummy's legs, causing him to fall to the ground. With a single hand seal, Luffy materialized miniature yet sharp bursts of water that sliced through the string tying Laffy, setting him free.

"That was a very interesting application to the enlargement technique, using it to stop the momentum of the shield carrying soldier. The key points you mentioned are all spot on, and the fire application would have been quite deadly. I would have liked to seen the makibishi been used, but you mentioned it as a possible combination alongside a smoke bomb, which is good enough for me. I won't have you do the Shadow Rope Technique as its very basic and you understand the principle behind the technique. As far as the Shadow Makibishi Technique does, you also have a clear understanding of the technique. Without me asking, you've already given me potential usages and outcomes of using it and what could have happened. Now its time to continue with the next set of techniques, but remember that you still need to incorporate Aerial Dance technique into one of your combinations."

Laffy proceeds to perform a single hand sign as a large poof of smoke is scattered around him, calling forth a summoning. As the smoke settles, countless scrolls from varying sizes an be seen around him. Meanwhile, Luffy under-tossed a scroll of his own that contained the information of the next set of techniques they would begin to work on.

"You see all those scrolls of varying sizes lingering around Laffy? You'll need to start picking some of them up after reading the contents of the scroll I just gave you. These techniques are a large bulk of the truly weapon-based techniques that require you to summon them to the field. Inside the scroll is all the information that I have written on each technique regarding its performance. Including Ariel Dance, I want you to pick two other techniques from there and create a battle combination against Laffy. Unlike before, he will be fighting back so memorize all the information and be ready to be in a small parring session with Laffy as you continue to do things similar to before with the explaining. You'll have to do some multitasking as you try to fend off Laffy and explain to me some of the things you are performing, Shishishi.~"

OOC: This technique is from a video game so its broken in the sense that it is hard to incorporate into our RP with its description. This technique doesnt allow you to summon weapons so you'd be throwing whatever is on your person at the time of it. You basically jump into the air and spin at high speed. By taking advantage of the spinning momentum, you begin releasing your weapons and projectiles, increasing their traveling momentum and overall range, doing a wide scale attack.

(Soryu no Mai) - Rising Dragon Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps up in the air and then spins at high speed throwing a lot of weapons at thier enemy ranging from shuriken, kunai, shuko and many various other weapons.

OOC: A technique that is very limited in range but can have some key usages. By unraveling a scroll around yourself, you activate the unsealing process and call forth spiked balls made of metal that burst outwards, striking nearby objects or even enemies.

(Sōgu: Shikyū Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Deadly Spheres Strike
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.

OOC: You'll unroll to small scrolls in front of up, up to short range beneath your target and call forth many weapons. The summoning burst itself as well as the launched weapons causes the target to go airborne with slash/blunt damage depending on what you call from the scroll. At the same time, from one of the scrolls you'll have summoned a chain that you use to launch towards the target's legs and bring them forcefully downwards.

(Sōgu: Fūjin Heki) - Manipulated Tools: Floating Blades Wall
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user unrolls in the floor under the enemy two small scrolls and summons many different weapons from them, taking the enemy into the air. Then they wraps the leg of the enemy with a chain and crushes him back down to the ground.

OOC: A unique tool manipulation technique that requires you to unravel a large scroll around you and applying the transformation technique method to turn it into a giant chain hammer with a huge ball attached at the end. The ball is ued to try and crush the enemy, turning back into a scroll afterwards. A rather unique technique and also reaches up to mid range.

(Sōgu: Dai Tekkai) - Manipulated Tools: Giant Iron Lump
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description:The user takes out a big scroll and waves it in a circle. It turns into a giant chain hammer with a huge metal ball at the end that they then crushes the enemy with. After this move, the chain hammer turns back into a scroll.

OOC: One of the most exclusive techniques for weapon users, that requires a lot of experience with deal weapons. Probably one of the most interesting ones, simple but effective. With the usage of two scrolls that are shortly after activated by hand seals, they burst into the air in a swirling manner as you follow suit and jump inside the vortex, calling forth weapons that are attached to strings and your own fingertips. You'll begin to launch a barrage where you see fit and call back the weapons if they dont strike your desired target.

(Soushouryuu) - Twin Rising Dragons
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: A summoning technique meant almost exclusively for weapon's experts. To begin, the shinobi will remove two scrolls and set them on the ground, after forming the necessary hand seals, the two scroll rise into the air and begin to swirl around a middle vortex that is the user. They then use this space to launch themselves into the air between the spinning scrolls. From these scrolls the ninja can then summon a mass of weapons, which they then begin to throw at their opponent. If the first barrage fails, they can use wires that run from each weapon to their fingertips to pull them back into the air to strike at their opponent again.

OOC: This is a similar concept to the technique above, but you only summon kunais which are tied to string from the scroll, and launched them all at the same time because they are tied to your fingers.

(Sōgu: Shu Senjin) - Manipulated Tools: One Thousand Blades Attack
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: This technique is very similar to Twin Rising Dragons, but in this version the user only summons countless kunai from the scrolls, which are connected by strings at thier hands. They then throws all the kunai at the same time on the opponent.

OOC: The technique is started with a single scroll that is unraveled to summon a chain which is long but still only reaches up to short range. The chain is used to wrap the enemy and trap them. After they are trapped, you can unravel a second scroll to release a rain of weapons from above and the front.

(Kuchiyose: Tetsurensa Housou) - Summoning: Iron Chain Wrapping
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
description: The user summons a long chain from a scroll and wraps the enemy with it. When the enemy is trapped, they use another scroll to launch a rain of weapons at the enemy.

OOC: A rather interesting and unique technique, probably a favorite of mine which I have not had the chance to use yet. You'll need to have nails for this, as you grab a bunch from your pouch and throw them into the air as you infuse them with chakra. As they drop, they are manipulated to dig themselves into the ground but not entirely, leaving almost like mini spikes protruding from the ground. With the usage of a single hand seal, the nails can be launched from the ground to strike the target. Edit: Just confirmed by watching the episode where it was used and the needles dig themselves fully into the ground. After the target gets near them, the user focuses on having some of them erupt out of the ground and pierce their feet to pin them in place. Then they proceed to manipulate the rest to burst outwards. So all in all, you have to keep a focus on the needles sadly. Or just dig them and use them later.

(Gyorai Shin) - Torpedo Needle
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user throws nails into the air. Upon impact on the ground, they dig themselves into the earth. When the opponent walks over the ground where the nails dug themselves in, nails pin their feet stopping their movement. Then, the user forms a hand seal and hundreds of nails shoot out of the ground at the opponent.

OOC: A technique that needs you to have a special umbrella. Laffy summoned it but you need to specify it in your bio if you want to use this technique. The special umbrella has a spring function that when thrown into the air it can release a shower of senbon that reach a mid-range distance away from where it was thrown.

(Jouro Senbon) - Sprinkling Needles
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After throwing a special umbrella that has been equipped with springs into the air, it releases a hailing "shower" of senbon. It cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area in all directions, controlled by chakra.

OOC: I lied when I mention the other technique being my favorite, this is one of my favorite by far. A very simple but super applicable technique. By using chakra, you are able to infuse your weapons, traditionally kunais to have them hover around you as you approach your target and they can be manipulated to be launched as you see fit, but you'll be restricted in manipulating them before focusing your chakra for other tasks or techniques.

(Soushuuha) - Manipulate Advancing Blades
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: This technique allows a shinobi to hover multiple kunai in the air while they approach a target. The technique allows a ninja to unleash a torrent of kunai, shuriken, or other weapons much more quickly than if each was thrown individually.

OOC: This is a special tag that is a different color. The only difference is that its stronger, and so it requires a jutsu activation. When being used, you have to mention that its not the ordinary tag, otherwise people wouldn't be able to tell.

(Ninpo: Jibaku Fuda: Kassei) - Ninja Art: Exploding Tag: Activate
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag. The exploding tags that the Third Hokage used were different than the usual bomb tags, being yellow in color instead of white with a red border.

OOC: Considering all the techniques you've learned or gone over so far, this one is pretty explanatory. You will jump into the air whilst using the momentum of your spin like other techniques before, in order to release kunais to cover a large area from all directions like the other techniques you've learned.

(Ninpo: Bōseki Enbu no mai) - Ninja Art: Spinning Walts Dance
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will jump into the air and begin spinning around rapidly whislt releasing a continous amount of kunai converging in all directions around them.

OOC: A technique that makes you trow three paper bombs that are attached to kunai. The bombs are thrown to your desired location and the kunai are used as an anchor of sorts, to have the paper bombs that act as parachutes to rain down from above. You are then responsible of activating the bombs as you see fit. The bombs can be hand thrown up til mid range to work.

(Rakka Kibaku Fuda) - Falling Paper Bomb
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will throw three paper bombs connected to kunai that act like parachutes and float down above the enemy. The user will then make the confrontation hand seal to explode the explosive tags when they reach their desired location.

"Ordinarily, after reading all the information in that scroll Im sure you can figure out that using every single one of those techniques in battle would be difficult as its hard to carry so many scrolls. Due to that, we will be taking breaks between some of the combinations so you can grab new corresponding scrolls to continue the session. For now, as I mentioned before I want you to pick out two of these techniques to use in combination with the Ariel Dance technique.
