This technique can be used in battle by creating an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy. The clone would then jump and explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals that results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, which leaves them open for attack.

This technique can be countered in a battle by immediately dispersing the cherry blossom leaves when the clone detonates

An disadvantage of this technique is that the clone would have to be fairly close to the opponent after his initial charge in order for the cherry blossoms to effectively hinder the target. An advantage of this technique though is the fact that the advancing clone would draw all the opponent's attention, leaving the user ample time to formulate another attack.

My personal opinion about the technique it that it'e pretty useful when you need to distract the opponent and conduct a sneak attack.

*Aj looks at the target, inserting his chakra into their brain as he does so in order to place them in a genjutsu. In the illusion the target sees a clone run towards him and jumps into the air before exploding in a cloud of cherry blossoms. This serves to not only confuse the target, but obscure his vision of the user and leaves him open to attack*

My two favorite so far are sly mind affect and Hell Fire. I like Sly Mind Affect because it makes opponent believe they are travelling in a straight line when they're really moving in circles. I find this useful because if the opponent is moving while they attack, their technique would have a good chance of missing you altogether and it wears them out in the process. I'm pretty sure that the best time to use this would be at the beginning of a battle

I like Hell Fire because you can use it to seem like you're attacking the enemy from two directions at the same time, forcing them into the position where they have to choose between treating the fire as if it were real and using a jutsu to block it, but by that time the real technique would have already hit. It's also useful because it can be used in conjunction with real fire balls which would confuse the opponent because it'd be impossible to distinguish between which were real and which weren't.

Well done. Welcome to B-ranks, now!

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

Okay like it's parent technique; but a little different and better if used the right way. Perform the seals, with the last handseal placing my clone in the genjutsu, what's so good about this technique it's double layer genjutsu, so just think of the parent technique where it makes the target think the environment has changed; if the target breaks out of the first layer, the second one is still there, the target will think they have broken out of the gen completely but no! They still haven't, good technique over all, if you actually manage to pull it off!

This used in battle to create falls surroundings to fool the opponent. In order for the technique to work, the terrain change has to be subtle so that it becomes hard for the opponent to distinguish the fact that it's an illusion.

This technique can be countered in battle if the opponent realizes that they're in an illusion. They can simply use kai or inflict pain to themselves.

An advantage of this technique is that it's a layered genjutsu so it will make it hard for the opponent to figure where the genjutsu ends, and where reality begins. A disadvantage of this technique is that since each illusion is equivalent to C-rank, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

My personal opinion about this technique is that it's quite useful, and would take quite a while for the opponent to dispel it's effects if they aren't versed in the ways of Genjutsu

*Aj performs three handseals, inserting his chakra into their brain as he does so in order to place them in a double layered illusion. In the illusion he creates false surroundings to fool his target, but since the illusion is layered if the opponent releases the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. In his first illusion the opponents finds themselves in the middle of a desert, but this is meant to be obvious to realize that it's an illusion. If the opponent breaks out of the first illusion, it will simply fade away and the second illusion will manifest.

The second illusion is that of the original terrain making the target think he dispelled the illusion, while he's still caught in one. In the second illusion that resembles the original terrain, the ground will appear riddled with large holes, giving them limited space to move around*

Alrightly!

(Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

Okay so with this one, you wave your sword back and forth, by doing this, this initiates the genjutsu, the target will believe they are seeing multiple waving arms, using this technique places the target off guard so you can cut him down, downsides about this technique, requires a sword, and the range is meh. But could be handy here and there, I've never used it so I have yet to correctly get the full potential out of this technique.

This technique can be used in battle to place the enemy in a genjutsu where they see multiple waving arms after the user moves their sword back and forth. This would cause the opponent to become confused since they wouldn't know which hand was real, giving the user time to strike them down. Due to the range this technique is used in, it'd be difficult for the opponent to counter in time if you ask me. They'd have to resort to backing away from the user if they're able to, or getting out of his range.

An advantage of this technique is how close the enemy would be to the user when they cast it, the technique would be difficult to counter physically.

My personal opinion? This is a jutsu that's right up my alley Lol. I'm a CQC character so this is a seriously useful technique to have in my arsenal

With that next:

(Magen: Hanarasui) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

So; this one, I think you just look at the target and thus places them in this gen, this technique will make the target think they are trapped in a large flower bud, which blows up. The target will think the explosion actually happening; leaving the target with metal damage on them. I personally find this technique really, really obvious.

This technique used in a battle to trap the opponent in a genjutsu bye simply looking at the target. In the illusion the target will believe that they're trapped in a large flower bud, which blows up. The target will think the explosion actually happens, leaving them with metal damage from the strain placed on their mind.

The technique can be be countered in a battle if the user realizes that it's a genjutsu and does the proper steps to release themselves from the illusion. As you said the technique it pretty obvious but id used properly in conjunction with an earth technique i think someone could pull it off in a way that makes it hard for the opponent to realize it's an illusion.

An advantage of this technique is that it momentarily restricts the opponents movements, while a disadvantage is it's obviousness. My personal opinion? well i don't see myself using this technique of my own accord. There are other genjutsu techniques that I'd rather use.

It really is. Isn't the best of the genjutsus.

(Magen: Jubaku Satsu) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

This technique is best used with that water technique mist; you will perform a set of five seals from there, the target will see you dissolve into a mist, and once you get into short range, the target will think they are bound to a tree that just rapid grows out of the ground, then your target will see you coming out from the tree to attack them, which ever way you see fit, but outside the illusion; the target is unable to move, so allowing you to attack them or whatever. As I said before best used with a mist like technique so it's harder for them to get out of it.

Small little quiz question: What Naruto character used this? And, who did they use this against?

This technique is used in battle in order to allow the user to reach short range of the target by making it seem as if you dissolve into mist. Once with short range the opponent will become immobilize, thinking they have be wrapped by a tree which grow at a tremendous rate. The user will then appear to from the tree to do whatever they wish to the opponent, while in reality they are simply immobilized.

This can be countered by using Kai, or another method in which the user's chakra is purge from the opponent's system, sharp pain, etc. This can also be countered be a wind technique, but i'm not referring to the genjutsu itself, but by firing a ferocious wind attack in a 360 degree angle, which would blow away the mist and maybe wound the user, or at least discourage him from coming any closer. At that point it'd be up to the opponent to come to the conclusion that it's a simple illusion and free themselves.

An advantage of the technique would be disappearing from the opponent's view, and using this technique in a situation where mist is already covering the field would make it better. A disadvantage of this technique would be having to go into short range before the opponent becomes immobilized. If this was used on me and the user disappeared, my first course of action would be an omnidirectional attack sine I wouldn't know where the user is. Also have chakra sensing rain/breeze activated would render the technique useless as I'd know where the user is coming from.

My personal opinion about this technique is that it has too many drawbacks of not working. Conditions would have to be set before using this, and even then it may or may not work.

Small little quiz question: What Naruto character used this? And, who did they use this against? If I remember correctly, Kurenai used this on Itachi, but he flipped the table and trapped her instead U.U

Moving right along. That was good.

(Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

Similar to the last technique you learnt, but with small changes, as you just disappear I'd think like the latter. That starts the genjutsu, the target will see bean vines grow from the ground, and grabbing the target lifting them up into the air, then a bean pod emerges from the ground showing the caster, about to start the target. Seems what rather again obvious imo. I wouldn't use it, but if you were in a area with plants that big you could maybe pull it off.

This technique is used in battle to make the opponent see bean vines spring from the ground that proceed to bind the target after the user disappears. The bean vines will then lift them into the air. and a bean pod will emerge from the ground showing the caster in a striking position

This can be countered by using Kai, or another method in which the user's chakra is purge from the opponent's system, sharp pain, etc. Since you won't be able to move, Kai would be the most obvious solution. Especially since biting your tongue would result in you bleeding to death if I remember correctly.

An advantage of this technique is the fact that the user disappears from the opponents view, meaning that even if he breaks the genjutsu, he would be unable to immediately locate the user if he moved. A disadvantage of this technique is it's obviousness. Once the user vanishes and the vines start to appear (especially on a terrain where there are no veins), the opponent would be able to deduce that he was placed in an illusion

My personal opinion about this is just as you said. way too obvious and the terrain usage is too limited.

For some reason, this reminded me of the Swamp bending guys from the last airbender*

Good.

(Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

With this one all you need to do is look at your target or clap your hands, either one. Once you do one of those two, your target will be placed in the gen, he will see snakes appear from the ground, and with your command the snakes start to crush and hold back the target from attacking you, and crushing them also. The target will take metal damage. This is one of the more used techniques, since it is handy and less obvious.

(Genjutsu: Hanaoka) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons up illusionary purple flowers from the ground in front of them, damaging enemies with a chance to paralyze them.
Note: Paralysis lasts one turn.

This technique leaves people a bit unsure, I think you perform a single hand seal which then places the person in the genjutsu, they will see some purple flowers grow from the ground in front of them, somehow damaging them, with a chance of paralysing them. If they do get paralysed it last for one turn.
Range is meh, seems obvious unless you're in a forest or whatnot.

Last two B-ranks till A-ranks.

Crushing Snake Constriction is used in battle to make the opponent believe that snakes have appeared beneath them. The snakes then rise up to constrict and crush them with the users command, but in reality the opponent is immobilized and takes mental damage due to the stress on his mind.

This technique can be countered in battle by using Kai, or another method in which the user's chakra is purge from the opponent's system including sharp pain. The problem here is that it's hard for the one trapped to tell it's a genjutsu since it's less obvious compared to other genjutsu techniques. I believe that using nagashi to destroy the snakes would be a suitable counter, but I'm not really sure what would happen to the genjutsu itself at that point.

An advantage of this technique would be how it's cast on the opponent, and how simple it is. This makes it hard to discern if you're actually in an illusion or not. Can't really see any disadvantages for this one

My personal opinion about this is that it's useful. It can be deployed simply and effectively if used at the right time

Flower Hill is used in battle to make the opponent see illusionary purple flowers spring up around them. The flowers damage the enemy with a chance of paralyzing them.

This technique can be countered in battle by simply destroying the flowers, using Kai, or inflicting pain after you realized that it's an illusion. But I believe this can only be done after the flowers start damaging you, since they would just seem like normal flowers at that time. Well, I'm pretty sure the sudden appearance of flowers on a battlefield would make anyone weary >.>

An advantage of this technique is how the flowers cause damage to the opponent I guess, but the range is a big disadvantage.

My personal opinion? Meh >.> I can't see myself using this. Too much of a risk at such a range, and I don't really see the reason to use this.

Swell.

(Magen: Chō Shinka) - Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

This one is nice. Perform the one seal, then with that seal placing my clone in your genjutsu, you will throw a good amount of explosive tags at my clone, he will see in the illusion an undefined amount of butterflies flying towards him, my clone will think the butterflies are sinking into the ground [wot] but outside the genjutsu, he is getting stunned, this allows you to walk up to him and place a single exploding tag on his forward. Once you have done that walk away from him, and then detonate them all at once.

-

(Nehan Shōja no Jutsu) - Temple of Nirvana Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing all the targets in the area under an illusion where feathers appear to fall from the sky. This slowly puts the opponents to sleep after one turn.

This one has poor range, but yeah; perform the single handseal, with that handseal traps everyone but yourself in the genjutsu, of course within the said range, from there the target will see feathers falling from the sky placing said targets in a deep sleep, but only when one turn passes. Not the most used technique here, nor one of the most useful ones.

Butterfly Evolution is used in battle to make the opponent see a large number of explosive tags thrown by the user as simple butterflies that fly towards him. The target will then believe themselves to be sinking into the ground when in reality they are only immobilized. This allows the user to walk up to the target and place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

This can be countered in battle by any of the standard methods of releasing oneself from an illusion. Methods such as Kai, full body surge, pain, or inserting another source of chakra in the user. As usual you'd need to explain how you came to the conclusion that you're trapped in a genjutsu. In this case I think the butterflies are a valid reason. If we look at the normal actions of these animals we can tell that they tend to fly away from people rather than towards them, and a whole 'swarm' at that would make it even more suspicious.

An advantage of this technique is how it immobilizes the opponent, thus giving to user a chance to exploit the momentary opening it creates. The disadvantage is that you'd have to place the final tag on the forehead before detonating them. I say that because if an opponent realizes and escape the illusion without the user's knowledge, then the target could take advantage of the user when he gets close to him.

My personal opinion about the technique is that it's kinda obvious. Butterflies don't act like that. Suspicious >.>

*Aj performs one handseal and uses his own chakra to disturb the chakra flow in the clone's brain, altering his senses. He then throws a large number of explosive tags towards clone, who perceives them as simple butterflies flying towards him. He also notices that he's sinking into the earth when in reality he was only immobilized. This allowed Aj to walk up to the clone and place one final exploding tag on his forehead. Once done he walks away from the clone, detonating all the tags at once.*

Temple of Nirvana Technique is used in battle to place everyone besides myself in an illusion where feathers appear to fall from the sky. After witnessing this everyone up to close range will fall into a deep sleep, leaving the user able to do whatever they want....with the helpless bodies......

This can be countered in battle by any of the standard methods of releasing oneself from an illusion. Methods such as Kai, full body surge, pain, or inserting another source of chakra in the user. As usual you'd need to explain how you came to the conclusion that you're trapped in a genjutsu. The only indication in this scenario is the feathers themselves so if it's used properly then it would be hard to explain how one came to know they were placed in an illusion.

While the advantage lies with the sleeping effect of this genjutsu, the distance is an obvious disadvantage. I this the range fits given the effects though, because if the range were longer then this would probably be one of tthe most spammed tech on NB

My personal opinion about this technique is that it would be harder for an opponent to tell it's an illusion if you use it in a forest. You can cause the trees to shake and have the feathers fall through them from the sky, making it look as if birds in the tree had been startled and flew away, thus showering us in feathers. Another way to get the most out of this is if the user has an actual bird summoning animal in the air, making it look as if the feathers came from him.

"Nice. Moving onto the last technique." Nico Robin excitedly said "Bringer of darkness works by creating a world of darkness through a single hand seal. The opponent's mind is made to see the world around them turn completely black which would restrict their sense of sight completely." Nico Robin performs a single hand seal and casts the illusion onto the student. "Now dispel it. Give me advantages and combinations with it once you have successfully dispersed the illusion."

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.
