Agreed 100%

Marvel has expanded their movie universe, while DC struggles and has only cemented Batman. Superman was good when Reeve did it, but that was forever ago. DC is my favorite and will always be, but their movie world is screwed up. I will say that their Batman films (Burton/Nolan) are the best films of both companies though.

Animated wise, DC tops all. I love their animated movies.
Wait for Nolan's superman.it will be epic..U_U

I know but he wrote the script..and hes like this is the best movie I have worked with...xd..so it will be good..then the director zack schnyder is also good..o_O
Part of it. David S Goyer is pretty much the main writer. He wrote the screenplay alone and worked with the story with Nolan. Nolan is a part of this film, but not as major as he was in TDK and nobody gives Goyer credit. I personally don't see this film as Nolan's baby. It's not.

Zack will be good. This movie will be awesome, but don't over credit Nolan for it.

To date, I say Marvel clearly takes the cake with it's films. The whole Avengers plot build-up since 2008's Iron Man was, in my opinion anyways, Marvel's turning point.

DC hasn't had any good movies aside from Nolan's Batman. The Green Lantern was a joke. Superman will be something to look forward to though.

In fact, to be honest, most of the movies DC ever makes is either Batman or Superman, no?

Don't kill me guys...I haven't seen The Avengers yet. I liked The Amazing SpiderMan (way more than the other ones that's for sure), but compared to the Dark Knight Trilogy the other Marvel movies don't stand a chance. I also like Tim Burton's take more than some of the other unmentionable Marvel movies
as in X-Men Origins Wolverine *bad taste in my mouth*
So...DC for me on this one.

I'm a fan of both. I tend to lean towards the Marvel side of things. But as far as live action movies, it all comes down to the writing. Look at the name of this years blockbusters. Nolan with DK Rises and Whedon with Avengers. The question for me is not which movies I like better, DC or Marvel. It's which movie has better writing and direction.

DC barely has any recent movies. The Dark Knight trilogy (which in my opinion is easily better than all of Marvel's movies so far) and the Green Lantern (meh) is all that they have to show for recent movies. The only other thing I can remember with DC movies outside of animated movies is Superman from like 2005. Marvel meanwhile has Thor, Iron Man (1 and 2), Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, and I'm pretty sure Deadpool is coming up. But apparently they're trying to finally pull through on the Justice League so I'd say that we have to wait for that and the new Superman before you can really compare. But to be honest, none of the marvel movies have really had any impact with me; the movies leading up the Avengers were all crap. The Dark Knight trilogy meanwhile was brilliant, but one great trilogy and one forgettable movie (no more forgettable than the movies leading up the Avengers though) isn't really much of a movie campaign compared to what Marvel has.
