Her regeneration jutsu is a different story. Tsunade even stated the first time she used sozo saisei that it's not medical ninjutsu, but a regeneration technique. There is absolutely no logical reasons why Tsunade wouldn't be able to regenerate herself after being hit by a rasenshuriken.



Any regeneration, or healing of a wound is cellular level. :|
Byakugo no jutsu is almost instant as well. Rasenshuriken does not produce any projectiles that could get stuck to the person it hit, this is why Tsunade's regeneration jutsu can in fact heal the damage pretty easily, as they're all just miniature stings that heal immediately because of the byakugo no jutsu.

Doesn't matter. It separates the chakra tubes, meaning the part that the tube won't be able to regenerate since the regeneration jutsu won't be able to effect it.

Regeneration requires at least one cell to product/divide 2 cells then on and on, but the new cell will be a little bit smaller than the one before. The byakugou seal is on the force head, it release the large amount of chakra THROUGH the chakra PATH to the place that need to speed up the production of cell.
What the hell can those chakra going through the chakra path, if all path is destroyed by seconds ?

It causes ****loads of little stings that puncture your cells. Tsunade heales from a huge sword that broke her spine in less than a second. How long would it take to heal a nano sized puncture wound? I rest my case.

Tsunade has healed much, much bigger damage really fast. It is said to be instant regeneration.
Even Kakuzu survived the attack, Tsunade would just brush it off.

This is a picture I took from the manga quite a long time ago to prove that she can regenerate limbs.
Doesn't exactly say medical ninjutsu though, but it's not a recover ability, but regeneration. I do believe this mean it's beyond anything that can be done to another person, but only to yourself.
You can take this as you want, but I decipher it as it's not medical ninjutsu at all, it's a jutsu that regenerates everything building up the users body.

I doubt she takes sozo saisei in consideration here, as she can't use it to regenerate others, only herself.
She was talking about healing Naruto's arm, not if she could survive the attack or not.

She can create new arms with Hashi's cells for other people though.

Instant being she no longer needs hand seals to activate the technique like SS.

She could probably survive the one from base Naruto that Kakuzu took however with SM it deletes the body.

According to manga logic anything that still has a whole piece, like missing arm, cut in half, piece through stomach is still regenable.
But if the best medic in the manga said that she can not regen/heal the dmg caused by rasenshuriken, then NO, NEVER, EVER, FOREVER.
